George Street Hotels, Aberdeen

"Decent sized single room, but marks on walls and not as clean carpet as would have liked, but all in all, quite good. Plugs only on far other side of bed and in window sill so wasn't ideal (by table would have been better). Kettle provided but had to put it on window sill to get power, ideally think plug near table area is a must. Comfy bed. Shower very good with good temperature and power. One day I had no toilet rolls or shower gel so had to ask for it. Staff were lovely but not sure I should have had to ask. Fire alarm went off twice while staying there, I know these things happen but no apology or mention of it next morning, after disturbed sleep, wasn't great. Bit tired hotel but even with little niggles, I did have a good stay. Was good value and so I'm satisfied but do think some little improvements are needed. "

"I stay here every time I come to Aberdeen on business. It's a good and reliable hotel. This time though the bed was not the usual standard. In an Executive room there is usually a very comfortable super king bed; this time it was a double with a less good mattress. Not sure what's going on here as one would expect that the same class of room in the same hotel would have identical facilities. "

"Staff at check in were courteous and helpfull. Room was clean but lacked some of the amenities you would expect from a 4 star hotel. No fridge or water. Slippers were advertised as part of the room but were not provided. Having to request room upkeep on the previous day was a strange idea. Also we were very surprised at having to pay extra for parking, which was not mentioned in the booking page."

"The room was fine and the staff friendly, however the gym session starting at 6am directly below my room with blasting dance music and a shouty woman really wasn't welcome at all and spoiled my stay."

"Nice cosy room, soft mattress which is my preference. Rom was small but perfect. Had everything i needed. Have stayed a few times so will def be back. Excellent cocktails in the bar!"
