"The room was cleaned every day, in fact the hold complex was spotless. Both Stelios and Anastasia were very approachable and extremely helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. The area was really quiet allowing us to relax with no worries. Only 500 metres to Melissani lake/cave also a bonus. Coastal path into Sami took around 25-30 mins at a leisurely pace. "We booked a week here to visit our daughter who was working in Kefalonia and, for us the location was perfect. Just outside of the gentle, family friendly town of Lixouri on the Paliki peninsula. Breakfast was included but please note that it is served at their Argostoli Essence hotel location (about a 7-8min walk or transport can be arranged). Check-in was slightly confusing - you have to notify the hotel 72hrs prior to arriving or walk into the neighbouring travel agency storefront but this wasn’t mentioned in the listing....
