If you are looking for an economical place to stay in Geneva, this unit could be a suitable option. It had two bedrooms with beds as stated, and the living room included a simple futon. Sheets and blankets were provided. The unit was clean, though older and somewhat worn. The kitchen was stocked well enough to prepare basic meals.There are a few practical considerations. The building is on a one-way street with no convenient unloading area. Street parking was unavailable during our stay. A nearby parking garage is about a four-minute walk away, but reaching the unit from there requires carrying luggage up several flights of stairs, including one narrow, winding section. The garage cost about 15 francs per night.The unit does not have air conditioning, which was manageable, but it required keeping the windows open. Smoke from the lower patios, combined with frequent city noise such as late-night chatter, alarms, and sirens, made sleep difficult for my family.If you are accustomed to a city environment, with parking challenges and open windows at night, this rental could work well. If you prefer quieter surroundings, you may find it less comfortable.
