Found used condom under the bed. Which indicates the place was not cleaned properly. Kitchen counter tops had crumbs upon our arrival. Power went out and when I called the number to report the outage the guy was short with me and hung up before I was finished talking. I understand that he was probably busy with phone calls but I felt hanging up was not necessary. Overall, we enjoyed our visit. Bachelorette weekend for my future daughter-in-law. Low key time playing board games. Thank you!

My extended family had a wonderful time at this property. It was week equipped and close to lots of activities and between two public beaches. The people we meet that were connected to the property were very friendly and helpful. They gave us lots of information about the area.

Girls winter weekend
The perfect place…9 bedrooms for 11 women. Two of the rooms were larger so those were for sharing. Everyone else had their own space. With 3 bathrooms there was never an issue, Large open concept kitchen and living area. Enough chairs and couches for all too. We played games and laughed the whole time. Thank you for sharing your perfect place.

30th Birthday Bash!
We had a great time celebrating a 30th Birthday, perfect location and perfect set up with the amount of bedrooms. Even though it was mid February, we had a BLAST at the local bars still open... Sportzerz was an easy walk and Dark Room Brewing had amazing live music and photo opportunities. All very close to this location. If you're not sure on visiting Geneva in the winter... DO IT !!

“Sweet” location!
Awesome place and location! Bedrooms are roomy and down the hallway away from kitchen and family room for privacy. Plenty of room for big family and/or friends gathering as we stayed sat/Sunday for New Year’s Eve 2023!!! Views are awesome of the strip from The Cove next door all the way down to Sportsters! Will def stay again!

This place was as exactly as described on vrbo. They thought of everything right down to the holiday decorations. There were plenty of linens and towels. We had such a pleasant stay. The amount of common space was a bonus. The location was perfect. We will consider renting here again in the near future. It really was great!!

Surprise Birthday
This place was amazing! I wanted to surprise my mom for her birthday and it was the best disguise! It had plenty of rooms for the gathering, and a beautiful view. There was plenty of parking! Easy check in! Overall amazing! Just make sure everyone knows to go around back to get in. I would definitely recommend this place.

Such a fun area!
Our family of all ages stayed in this property and it worked perfectly! We had enough bedrooms for everyone to have their privacy and plenty of bathrooms for all. The kitchen was VERY well equipped, more than enough bedding, towels, toilet paper and other necessities. Check in and check out was an absolute breeze! Perfect Location
Matt’s place is great for larger groups looking to stay in the GTOL area. Located right on the strip but also close to wineries and other area attractions. There was plenty of space for our group and the whole unit was very clean. The fire pit on the deck was also great and there was ample parking. We’d love to plan a yearly trip. Thanks for a great stay!

Family Monthly Gathering
There was enough room (9 bedrooms) for 18 family members to stay comfortably in one location. This location also had 3 bathrooms which was excellent. Having TVs in every bedroom as well as the kitchen and living room was outstanding. There was enough seats for everyone as well. If I had to provide a recommendation, it would be to have a table large enough to accommodate at least 8-10 people instead of six. But luckily, I had a folding table to use. I would definitely stay at this spot again.

GOTL weekend
The property owner got back to me so quickly with any questions I had. We had 9 couples that stayed for the weekend. We enjoyed The cove right next door both nights and did our own winery crawl on Saturday. Already looking at dates for next year to go back! Highly recommend for a large group.

Great time in Geneva-on-the-Lake above the Candy Shoppe
We had 16 people stay in this house with 9 bedrooms and I think 2 pull-outs and 3 bathrooms. Very clean and plenty of room for cooking and having a good time. Walking distance to many of the shops, coffee shop, Old Firehouse Winery, etc., and a short drive to the beaches. Next to The Cove-there were no disturbances on the weeknights (we stayed Mon-Thurs). Matt has always responded quickly to emails and texts but we didn’t have any reason to contact him. We did plenty of cooking-the double oven and microwave and Keurig all suited our needs. All of us can’t wait to come back again!! Great location and great price!

Great Location and Space
The house is the perfect space for a large group and the perfect location to walk the strip. The State Park is a short drive down the street. It was clean, spacious, and the owners are responsive. Our only issue was the A/C didn’t work. They were responsive and tried to fix it a few times, but were not able to get it fully resolved. However, I won't ding them for it, because they did make it right with me with a partial refund. Overall, I would definitely recommend this space for your large group!

The space here is great. Since our first stay at the property a few years back I think they've replaced couches and gotten a new dining table. I'd love to have a larger table to fit as many as can sleep at the property or at least closer to it. The property could have been more meticulously cleaned but we were able to fix any issues we had relatively easily (coffee grounds had been left in the coffee and were moldy; some wet mops were left in a closet in a bedroom which made the room smell). It's nice that each bedroom has a roku. You can't compete with the spacious 9 bedrooms either. The kitchen is big and has a large counter space. The kitchen was well equipped with essentials as well.

Cleaning issues
Our family has stayed here before and this time we were very disappointed in the cleanliness. There were glasses in the cupboard with dried juice in them. Obviously not washed. The coffee pot was dirty with grounds. We had to wash everything we used first. The floors were dirty and needed washed. We love the space but felt dirty the whole time we were there. The owner was very prompt to respond to a request for another table and chairs. We would consider staying here again because it works well for our large family, but I would hope the cleaning improves.

We enjoyed our stay. Everything was great. We ran out of propane Friday night called Saturday morning to tell them we needed more...we had it by noon! The only complaint we had...well only one couple...the mattress was horrible! You could feel every spring in that mattress. It was poking in them the whole night sleeping! It was a different mattress than all the other beds had. When coming through the door, it's the 1st bedroom on the left! You definitely need to replace that mattress!

This place was perfect for my bachelorette party! There were 9 of us there and we each were able to have our own room. Never a fight for the bathroom. Had almost everything we needed for three nights! Fully stocked kitchen with odds and ends. Easy access to the strip and great amount of parking. Perfect for a large group. We did wine tasting during the day and then there was plenty of common area to hang out in here for the evening. There is a party club right next door- friday night it seemed closed but Saturday night you could hear the base thumping until late..1 or 2am. I was able to sleep but you could definitely hear it especially in the bedrooms that face that side. Just as a fyi. Fantastic stay very clean and spacious.

Family warmth in icy Geneva on the Lake
This vrbo above the seasonally closed retail store was very peaceful. The rooms have updated and comfortable furniture. The kitchen appliances are new and more than adequate. There were no conumable supplies for cooking--not even salt and pepper, and some equipment is missing, but there are plenty of dishes and pots and pans.
