"The apartment stunk of cigarettes, a non smoking property absolutely reeking of smoke. The fridge had half bottles of other guests drinks. There was a gas pipe sticking up in the middle of the bedroom. The toilet roll was the last few sheets of an old roll. The towel wasn’t fit to dry a wet dog. Disgusting. "An interesting hotel with some very beautiful elements (brick ceilings, restaurant and bar area), next to other very average spaces, such as the halls leading to the room (more motley looking). The actual bedroom was ok. Clean and efficient. But not spectacular. We ended up sleeping with the window open because we couldn’t get the air conditioning to work."

"Unfortunately it's a bit too far to walk from the Terminal (and quite well hidden) so you probably need to call for a taxi - extra 13 Euro's. Build this into your budget and you're probably better staying at a better quality hotel further away (in Charleroi if you're adventurous!). No a/c in the room which meant open windows and listening to aircraft (it is an airport hotel after all). Room was small but had en-suite facilities."

The staff were great as usual, the breakfast were really good but only having one coffee machine is not a great plan when you have so many people staying. The daily room cleaning is by request only now which previously has been done daily as standard. Looking forward to staying again next May 2027."

"Room 107 was not cleaned when we got the key- cobwebs around the room and hairs in the bed. card, when we mentioned this to staff they said they would get it cleaned, we came back later in the evening and it had still. It been cleaned, upon mentioning it to staff again they did not care, and when mentioning it to another staff member on departure they still did not care, poor standards of cleaning, below par expectations of the staff, was not an enjoyable stay"

There is water filter with cold water situated in the main corridor outside the lift- really helps with the hot weather. Check in space is straight forward. Definitely will come back to stay"
