"What a fantastic experience it was staying here.
Please ask for Indu to pick you up and drive you around in either his spacious van or locally tuk tuk. He also has a small store nearby with a lovely helpful family. He is a gentleman.
The host family are just beautiful people. Nothing is too much trouble.
The rooms are extremely comfortable and well appointed.
The views are breathtaking.
They also cooked dinner for us one night - which was superb.

"After reading other reviews and looking at pictures, we were very disappointed by our stay here. Upon arrival at the property, we had to wait to be greeted. When We walked into the property, all of the curtains were shut, and it was very dark and had a strange vibe. When we were shown to our room, it was in a bleak state. The bathroom needed repair and overall the room was not clean. I had to plug my charger in under the bed and you could tell that it had not been cleaned properly in a long...

"Wi fi was intermittent , not satisfactory. The beds were a little uncomfortable. Enjoyed the walks in the hills. Away from the main city so you have to take tuk tuk."

"We had a fantastic stay at Cassendra Hotel! From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive. The room was perfectly clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, making it a perfect place to relax after a long day.
A special mention to Dilrukshi, who truly made our stay feel like home. Her warm hospitality and genuine care made such a difference she went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed.
Thanks to the friendly service and peaceful atmosphere.I would definitely recommend Cassendra Hotel to anyone looking for a cozy and well-managed place to stay. I’ll happily return on my next visit to Kandy."
"I had a wonderful 4 nights at the Serindip. The staff were amazing abd special thanks to chef Ranga for his help and knowledge while I was in Kandy. Will definitely return for another stay."
"This is the ideal place to be away from the daily rut. I was away from work on vacation and made the best of my time relaxing by the pool a day at the spa, the body massage I highly recommend. The bar lounge staff were polite and courteous, don’t miss to order Bloody Mary. Room service was amazing, quick and suggested entrees.
One of the managers Mr Mithun was awesome he came to rescue one night when a private party was too loud.
Overall the best hotel in Kandy. Thank you for making my stay memorable. "
"Atiloua on reception always had the most beautiful smile to greet everyone. Everyone was keen to help.
The food and juices offered in the restaurant was very good. Interesting and delicious options on menu. No alcohol was sold on site and we went out for cocktails nearby."
"This hotel was one of the nicest I’ve stayed in beautiful surroundings by the river service was amazing. Cleanliness was outstanding. Service in general was perfect."
