Unit P453 is a 2 bedroom fully equipped condo located on the 1st floor of Pacific Palisades.  There are stairs going down to the unit.

There is a King in the Main bedroom, Two Twins in the second bedroom, and a Sofa bed in the living room. HD Flat Screen TV with Satellite, DVD player. Each Bedroom has a HD Flat Screen TV.  Enjoy ocean views from your deck. Just a few moments stroll to the beach.

Comfortable condo with nice view

My friend and I stayed here with three of our children. The condo had everything we needed and a nice view of the ocean. The pool was a fun bonus! The decor is pretty dated but if you don't mind that it's an amazing deal for a great location.

The unit was clean and the beds were comfortable. The unit needs some repairs. Refrigerator leaked water and that was addressed while we were there. Bathroom has pealing on the ceiling. The view was great!

Birthday get away

We loved the unit. It was clean and cozy and easily slept our family of 6. It was a short walk to the beach with beach access for vehicles very close by. Also a short 2 minute drive to Seaside. We can’t wait to go back!

Great location

This place has most things that you'd need on a vacation. It was difficult to feel cozy as it was incredibly outdated. We didn't want to use the kitchen because of the old burners... it just didn't work well. Loved being able to watch the sunset from the balcony!

Very quiet unit, with dated furnishings

There were just enough beds for 5 people, if one slept on the pull out bed. To note for future guests- there is dish soap, dishwasher pods, small bottles of shampoo/lotion/conditioner/body wash, hand soap. There were no pool towels or dish sponges- I wished I had thrown more towels into our luggage and a sponge. We were a 10 minute walk to the gorgeous sandy beach, and 2 minutes from the pool. The unit is very quiet, but not dark at night. The master did not have blackout curtains in one of the windows. The kitchen was decently stocked with spices, pots, pans, dishes, cutlery etc. We were careful how we timed when we ran the dishwasher because it heats up the whole unit. The unit was like a time capsule! It reminded me very much of my grandparents’ home, in all the best ways.

Nice place!

Stayed with my elderly mother and her brother. King bed was very comfortable but the twin beds were very hard. We arrived early and asked to be called when the room was ready. There was a shift change at the office and the information was not passed along about calling me when the room was ready. View is nice. Usually there are some coffee filters but there were none. Could not figure out how to hook up the VCR player to watch one of the movies that are in the room.

Very disappointed

First of all the decor was dated. We found hair and bits of stuff in the sheets, garbage under the bed, the kitchen was not supplied with enough things to really cook, not even a paring knife. The stove didn't work very well. Worst of all was we had no internet. They came to install a router that did not work, said they would be back, but never returned. Blinds kept falling off the rod. Cars on the beach, not good with little kids. It felt very run down and dirty. The carpet felt clean and new, the towels were nice, the king bed was comfortable is all the good I could say. We would never rent here again.

Although clean, the rental was a flashback to the 70's with their panelling, furniture and leopard bedspread. Only thing missing was an 8 track player.

Great place for a family, perfect location to go Around the Oregon coast. Only complaint is the unit needs updated especially the bedroom. Leopard is very outdated; otherwise awesome !

Deceiving

This experience was by far our worst with VRBO. I'm not one to leave reviews but I thought maybe I should this time to help save someone else the disappointment. This condo is old. Its outdated. Window screens and cabinet doors are falling off. It has a musty smell. The master is ALL decked out in leopard print EVERYTHING: furry quilt, pictures on walls, shams, mats on dresser. It was uncomfortable. The master sink has flowers painted inside. ? The carpet was actually nice and newer, but that was about it and the place was clean so I'm grateful about that. There is NO view from this condo so don't let the professional pictures deceive you. You may be able to see the tippy top of a few waves but other than that you see condos. Super sad experience. We were there for my birthday and left 12 hours after arriving.

Great property and location

We looked at several Gearhart by the Sea locations and picked this one since it was a little cheaper. It hasn't been updated for a while. It reminded me of visiting my grandparent's home. The couch and beds are newer. The king bed was super comfy. My kids appreciated the couch bed and twin beds since they didn't have to share. We loved how close it was to the beach and our view of the ocean from the deck. My kids had fun going to the beach early in the morning and finding sand dollars. The few complaints from my family were that the wifi wasn't the greatest, and few to no bars for cell reception depending on where you stand. The kitchen light took a while to turn on. Mostly it took about 15 minutes, but one night it took 3 hours before it finally turned on. Other than that, it was lots of space for my family at a great location. We would definitely stay here again.

Love the place the location, closeness to the beach

We love our time in Gearhart. We ended up not getting the place we rented because the people in there before us thought they had scheduled on more day. The office manager was very kind and offered us two other options. We would definitely stay at this location again. We loved how close it was to the beach.
