Enjoyable mountain vacation

This property was perfect for our family of four with one large dog. We don’t have a fenced yard at home, so this stay was a special treat for our dog to run and play. Everything is as shown in the photos. Only a short drive to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. The cabin is very clean and the property management communication was very good. Be prepared for some slightly steep drives and switchback roads on the way up… My husband was able to manage those. Nice quiet neighborhood too. I would definitely recommend this cabin to others. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Great place to stay

We really enjoyed our time here. The location is far enough out to be quiet and peaceful, but any trip to Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, or Smoky Mountain National Park is only about 15 minutes away.

Perfect place for exploring the Smoky Mountains

This was an ideal vacation spot to explore the Sevierville, Gatlinburg, and Pigeon Forge areas. Lots of winding roads and the driveway up to the cabin is steep. - HINT - hug the right side of the driveway and get a rolling start from the road to help you up the first part of the hill to the very spacious and flat concrete pad next to the cabin. It was a beautiful cabin and very peaceful. Loved it!

Beautiful property

Overall we were very impressed with the property. It was very clean and well maintained. Our pups loved the fenced in yard to run and play. The game area was a big hit with the kids too. Located in the mountains for a nice scenic ride.

Amazing views

We had an amazing time! Peaceful, beautiful, cozy cabin. Dog loved the yard and we enjoyed our time around the fire pit. The game room was an added bonus. We didn’t want to leave.

Great Weekend

Cabin was clean, check in was easy. Flat parking at the top of the driveway and a nice yard for pets which can be a rarity in the area. We had some snow in the forecast and there was a bag of salt on the porch to spread on the driveway/steps which was very nice. Would definitely stay again.

Nice and relaxing

This home was exactly what we were looking for. The fenced in yard made it easy to let our dogs out without having to put them on leashes. The beds are super comfortable and the pool table and hot tub was a great way to unwind at night. Thanks so much for allowing us to enjoy your property!

Beautiful, clean & pet friendly cabin

It's hard to find a pet-friendly cabin - this had a fenced-in yard that made it so nice for our two small dogs to come and go as they pleased. 5 stars for cleanliness! Cabin was beautifully decorated and kitchen was fully stocked. The hot tub was great, deck and rockers very nice, fire pit was a bit overgrown with weeds - other than that, everything was top-notch!

Great Mountain Getaway!

We did a birthday trip with family and our fur baby. The cabin was so cozy and homey. Our dog loved the big yard and porch, we literally couldn’t get him to come in at times - it was perfect weather for him, 20s/30s and he is a Bernese Mountain Dog so he was in heaven. The location is perfect distance to town. Highly highly recommend and we definitely will be coming back.

Christmas With Family

We surprised our 3 kids with a getaway for Christmas. This cabin was perfect. It was decorated for Christmas, stocked with everything I needed to make my Christmas dinner, and super cozy! The kids loved the loft, and we all loved the hot tub. The view was perfect, and the beds were cozy. We could not have asked for a better place to stay. We will be back!

Wonderful Getaway

We were very happy with our cabin. It is a beautiful place. I just retired and my husband and I needed a break from the everyday rut. The location was perfect because it was close enough to Pigeon Forge Or Gatlinburg yet far enough out from the business of town. The hot tube was perfect for relaxing and the privacy was great! I really have NO complaints but a suggestion would be to make the seating more comfortable for relaxing. maybe an ottoman or recliner.

Great stay

Really liked this cabin! Was close to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge (~20-25 minutes to each) and about an hour from Cades Cove (great hiking). Cabin was clean, and having the fenced yard was great (meant we could be out on the deck but the dog could have space). Kids loved playing pool in the loft. Easy check in. The only minor downside was that the hot tub is a bit on the older side, so the jets aren’t all that powerful (to their credit, the company did offer to send someone out to look at it – we declined as we were only going to be there a couple days). Note that you will want to pack your own toiletries (I think there were only 2 rolls of TP and no soap when we arrived – not at all a big deal, just good to know ahead of time so you know to pack it). Would definitely return.

Nightmare

I liked the cabin & loved the fenced in yard. The bathroom in the master could have used some cleaning though. Unfortunately during our fist night there was a snow storm and the power went out. Because of the area of the cabin, the power and water was off for the whole week we were supposed to stay. We had to leave and get a hotel. We were still charged the vrbo booking fee plus 1 night and a cleaning fee. That was 578.98 for less than one night with power and water. Just be mindful of that when choosing to book with this company.

Quiet Thanksgiving Vacation

Very nice, well taken care of property. Very clean and well stocked kitchen. All you need to do is bring your own food. Nice area for the fur babies to run around. Covered front porch with a gate that closes. Also a gate in the fenced in yard. 2 places for campfires. Two tables with seating on the deck. Rocking chairs on the porch. Two couches, love seat, and chair for seating. Nice size closets and lots of storage. Beds were comfortable. Pool table, arcade game table, books, and games in the loft area. Also on the deck is a hot tub/spa. Washer/dryer in the hall. Plenty of parking. Spot lights that are motion activated in parking area. Spot lights for the back yard also. We would stay here again!!!

Perfect Cabin

This was the perfect cabin for our family vacation! We brought our fur baby which the cabin had a fenced back yard and a gate on the front porch allowing our dog to hang out with us wherever we went front or back. I had a few requirements and this cabin had it all! It was an authentic wood cabin, fire pit outside , a wood burning fireplace ( not electric which is rare ), and a hot tub! The cabin was stocked full of pots and pans and silverware. It was a beautiful cabin inside with a game room area where my son could hang out but it was open so we could still communicate with him which was perfect. The bedrooms had plenty of room and space ! The outdoors was beautiful with fall colored trees which was a treat for us since we are from Florida. It was the prefect location , right between pigeon forge and Gatlinburg which is the two places we wanted to visit . The mountain driving up was a bit scary at first but we are used to flat land so we got used to it by day 3. The master bath toilet clogged a few times but the plunger was sufficient. It was a perfect vacation cabin for my family ! Thank you for such a great place ! Lastly any questions I had , regardless of time of day or night , I had someone answer the phone and answer my questions the first time ! I truly am thankful for that, it was so helpful to have someone available right away! Thanks again! I highly highly recommend this company ( Red Door ) and this cabin!!! I have been to many cabins in Tennessee and NC

Dog-Friendly Cabin With Fenced Yard And Amazing Outdoor Area

It is nearly impossible to find a dog-friendly cabin with a fenced back yard in the Smoky Mountains. I’m so happy that we found this one! It’s very private. From the photos, you might have noticed that there is a house next door, but the way the cabin is situated, you forget it’s there. The outside space is really nice and we spent as much time as we could enjoying it. When you close gate on the front covered porch, the whole porch/deck area and back yard are enclosed for your dog. At night, the patio umbrella lights were really bright, which was excellent for eating outside in the evenings. There is plenty of outdoor seating, with rocking chairs and 2 patio tables. One of the tables had new chairs with cushions. Inside, there was also a new couch in the living room. The couches were all really comfortable—no sagging cushions that swallow you up when you sit in them! The beds were also comfortable. We didn’t care for the stools in the kitchen…they were not comfortable, so we didn’t really eat at the inside table because of that. But, it is nice that the table is counter-height. It gave me a little more space to work when I was preparing meals. The coffee pot had both a traditional carafe and also did the pods. We had plenty of pots, pans, and dishes. I wish there was more seating in the living room area. Since none of us cared for the kitchen stools, we only really used that one couch downstairs. Fun video games! Great location and the roads weren’t bad. We loved it!

House was lovely. The cleaning could have been a bit better but overall was good. The guest bathroom tub had a dirty ring around it with hair in it and didn't drain properly. The shower heads in both bathrooms are in need of repair. or replacement. The house appeared to have been empty for a while as there was a good deal of dust everywhere. Otherwise, the house was as advertised. I would caution letting your dog run in the fenced area outside without checking the area first. We unfortunately, let our dog out one night before bed and he was bit by a copper head snake not far from the fire pit. We had to drive an hour to Knoxville to the closest animal hospital for treatment, our pup is fine but it was understandingly stressful.

Peaceful cabin

It is a beautiful cabin in a quiet and peaceful street. The kids enjoyed the loft area with pool table and games, The fenced in area was perfect for our dog! It was a great cabin for our family’s needs. The only negative thing was housekeeping could have done a better job cleaning the pet hair from previous guests,

Perfect Cabin for us and our dog

This cabin was everything we'd hoped for. Great location, private and peaceful; plenty of room for us and our Great Dane. It had everything we needed. Easy access to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. We saw a momma bear and 3 cubs only 3 minutes from the cabin and then saw 3 bears another evening on our drive back to the cabin.We stayed a week and that was perfect. We'll definitely stay here again if we make it back to Tennessee in the fall months.

No complaints! Everything was as the description and photos displayed. Very clean, including the hot tub. Close to all attractions, but very private and relaxing. Quick responses to any questions. It was extremely easy to have our dog along, with the fenced in yard and gated porch. Definitely recommend.

Perfect Cabin for Our Family and Our Dog!

We loved this cabin and so did our dog! It was located perfectly, just far enough away from the hustle and bustle but also still close to both Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. There was a ton for us to do at the cabin also. We enjoyed battling each other in Pinball and other games on the arcade, playing pool, playing board games and hanging in the hot tub. We will be back for sure!
