Welcome to White Oak Getaway, a 3 bedroom, log cabin located in Gatlinburg, TN. It’s a great place to relax and unwind while taking in the many great attractions that are offered in the Smoky Mountains. The cabin is located in a resort setting consisting of a community of cabins that offers several amenities such as a swimming pool, grotto, fitness area, walking trails, basketball/tennis court, pickle ball court and discounted tickets for some of the area attractions! The three large bedrooms will sleep up to 6 people.

The resort is located off the Parkway. It can be easily accessed year-round without driving on steep/narrow mountain roads.

The home is laid out over two separate levels with plenty of room for everyone to spread out. The first floor is easily accessible and includes the kitchen with an eat-in dining room, great room, master suite and a screened in back deck. The great room features a cathedral ceiling, gas burning fireplace and a smart TV. The fully equipped kitchen also includes appliances, pots and pans, tableware and silverware along with a coffee maker that uses traditional filters and pods. The master suite has a king sized bed, smart TV and its own attached bathroom with washer and dryer.

Located on the second floor are two bedrooms. Both bedrooms have queen sized beds, a shared bathroom and TV's. A vintage video arcade machine and Foosball table is available in the upstairs area.

There is wireless internet throughout the house and all the TV’s have Xfinity cable. One dedicated parking space is provided directly in front of the cabin with overflow parking also available for guest traveling with multiple vehicles.

While White Oak Getaway is located away from the high traffic areas, the location is still convenient to everything you would want to visit in the area. It is 10 miles from downtown Gatlinburg, 18 miles from Dollywood and less than a mile to the Bent Creek Golf Course. Located near the Arts and Crafts community it is also a convenient, scenic drive to dining, groceries and other supplies you might need.

We love this cabin and want to share it to provide you with a great vacation experience that you and your family will remember and cherish for years to come.

Gatlinburg cabin

We had a really nice stay at the cabin. Nice size living room, beds were comfortable, and enjoyed the hot tub and pool. Nice to have a washer and dryer. So much to see and do in the Gatlinburg area for our family. We would definitely stay there again.

AAU basketball tournament

Pleasant holiday mountain experience

Communication with owners and check-in experience were seamless, and the holiday decorations were a lovely touch for our post-Christmas through New Year’s stay. Of course we did the usual Dollywood, Ober Mountain, Cades Cove, Gatlinburg tourist experiences, but both adults and kids in our family group equally enjoyed hanging out in the pretty cabin, playing foosball and other games thoughtfully provided. We highly recommend it to other travelers.

Perfect Vacation Cabin

Perfect size cabin for our family. Each teen had their own room. Our son loved to unwind at night by the arcade game. Each night we came back made dinner, sat in the hot tub and played games. The resort is quiet and well kept. Pool area was nice too. Cabin was well stocked. Never had an issue finding what we needed. We would definitely stay here again.

Perfect in every way

This property was immaculate! It had everything we needed and then some. Comfortable with ample space for a party of 5 adult women. Very easy to find and a few short minutes to the strip. No long, narrow, winding roads to navigate.

Perfect for the whole family

We absolutely loved it here! It was just as pictured and beyond expectations. We loved the little first use supplies to get us going. It was close enough to town but secluded enough to be out of traffic and it was very peaceful and quiet. The pool was nice! We did not use the hot tub, only because we all were a little sensitive to the cleaning product smell (which is okay, we know it was clean that means!). We will be booking again next trip to gatlinburg!

Great family cabin

We really enjoy our time at the cabin. Our teenagers enjoy foosball table and Ms pac-man. Beds were comfortable and showers were great, abundance of hot water is a plus. Hot tub was great after long hikes. Parking was only for one car, fortunately we only had one car, so not an issue for us. The closest grocery store is 7 miles away but it takes over 15 minutes to drive through the mountains, so not very convenient if you need something at the last minute. Plan ahead and it won’t be an issue. House is 30 minutes from GSM visitor center. We will stay again if back in the area.

Fantastic Cabin Close to Everything

This was a fantastic cabin on the outskirts of Gatlinburg, TN. It was close enough to Gatlinburg central and Pigeon Forge so that we could manage all kinds of outdoor activities. Plus, there was a very nice pool for our kids to hang out at when we had some down time. Each teenager had their own bedroom, the bathrooms were large and the cabin was stocked with just about everything needed for the first few days. Grocery stores were close, as were charming restaurants. Appliances were very clean and worked well. Tons of pots, pans and a large drawer full of spatulas, etc. Best shower pressure we've had at a rental in a long time. We highly recommend this cabin to couples or families.

Peaceful Mountain Stay 2023

The communication with our property owner(s) was short, but sweet. David provided all information the first of the month, July, for our stay July 29-Aug 2, 2023 both by email and text message. All information was accurate and easy to follow. We had a late arrival, after 10pm, but that wasn't an issue because all codes had been provided ahead of time and worked once we arrived at the cabin. It was wonderful walking in after a long road trip to the comforts of home. All sheets/pillow cases, towels, and dishes were clean, the cabin was the perfect temperature, and everything smelled fresh. The only issue we had, if you can call it that, was that the fridge was not cold and the freezer was completely frozen. However, we didn't require any maintenance and didn't need to contact the owner(s). The fridge only needed 24 hrs to cool down to "normal" temps and the freezer's temp needed to be turned down. We're pretty sure the fridge just needed time to catch up, and once it did there were no issues the rest of our trip. The beds were comfy, and there was plenty of room for our family of four. Our girls especially enjoyed the mini game room in the upstairs bedroom. We're already looking forward to our next trip to Gatlinburg, and hope to be able to stay in this same cabin again. It's location is amazing, and we were able to travel back and forth from the main strip in Gatlinburg and to Pigeon Forge with ease. Thank you for an unforgettable summer vacation in Gatlinburg!!

This was a fantastic Thanksgiving Holiday at this beautiful cabin!!! We all thoroughly enjoyed our time herePlace was exceptionally clean when we arrived, the Christmas tree and decor for the holiday was icing on the cake for us all but especially for my sweet granddaughter Everly GraceWe all hated to pull out this morning.
