The Evergreen Lodge is very close to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, but far enough away to have peace and quiet. The cabin was perfect for our needs and very clean. Sitting out on the patio with wooded view or enjoying the hot tub was very calming. This is a very nice place to stay.
The cabin/house was nice. They did decorate for Christmas. The location is pretty private which i thought was great…
The beds were absolutely terrible!!! All of the beds are on rollers so it moves across the floor when you sit or move on it. The bed downstairs was the worst! They all are loud when you sit or move on them. They are extremely hard as well. There is no way that this hasn’t been brought up to management… The beds are in such bad shape that we ended up just sleeping in the couches! It’s a shame to spend almost $2,000 to sleep on a hard couch.
It also has a very old, musty smell to it that you notice as soon as you walk in.
Lovely property! Plenty big for the three couples who stayed there. Trash can was a little hard to locate as it was down the road. But clean and comfy beds!
Great location, close to parkway but far enough to feel privacy. Very clean and well supplied cabin. Pictures do not do it justice it is much roomier than it looks. Checked in virtually and was a smooth process. Great adult getaway!

Quiet retreat close 5 minutes drive to downtown Gatlinburg
This house was everything we thought it was going to be. The process was a little more complicated than we were used to because we thought we would be in direct communication with an owner, but instead it was a commercial rental company. The company was good and seems to have cornered the market in that area anyway. NOT having to drive their office (30 minutes from the rental) was really great. They have an odd policy of not giving you the actual address of the house until the exact time of check-in, so it was a little hard for us to use Google to plan if bikes would be good for the kids (impossible to safely bike that neighborhood with children, too many hills) and one of the adults in our party was an avid runner, frustrated to not be able to plan jogging routes prior to arrival. Great vacation though and really smooth other than the address withholding which is in contrast to what we are used to in using these kinds of booking programs.
Property was nice and just right for me and my family! Staff was very polite and caring. Had a problem with upstairs toilet and called Auntie Belgium’s office. They were very helpful and got someone out there that day. When we came back from supper it was all fixed. Would recommend this property to anyone and also Auntie Belgium’s!
The place was cozy, clean, had everything we needed except what they mentioned in the listing, the hot tub was splendid, the location was beautiful, staff was very helpful, and it was the perfect spot for a girls' trip to the smoky mountains. Will definitely be returning.
