It was the second time staying at this cabin and it was just as good as the first time. Everything was nice and clean, and a great location in the mountains.
Our stay was very relaxing and enjoyable. The pool table was nice, the fireplace was nice. The sauna was great after a cold morning of hiking and the hot tub was good after dinner to relax in.
Me and my wife came here for our honeymoon. It was fairly easy to get to and it was the perfect distance to the main strip but far enough to be secluded and away from everything. 5 stars.
Beautiful property. Coming from flat ground, a description of the steep driveway would have helped my nerves, but we figured it out quickly. All of the amenities worked great and we had a relaxing stay.
Wonderful place to stay! We took our puppy and had a great time! The deacription was accurate. The only thing I would mention is that the bathroom lighting is not great for applying makeup. I used a mirror in the bedroom lighting to make it work. And the pool sticks had bad tips and were warped. It just helped us practice more! I would love staying here again.
We choose this as the tail end of our honeymoon and weren't disappointed. Wonderfully relaxing and romantic with an incredible drive through the winding roads from downtown Gatlinburg. Very private with gorgeous view. Best part for my hubby... He came face to face with a 200lb. bear!
We enjoyed our stay here greatly. The listing was as accurately described. The driveway has been mentioned in several post. While yet steep, it is manageable.
I would definitely stay here again. It is close to Gatlinburg, Ober, Pigeon Forge and most of all, peaceful.
Thank You for sharing this property with others.
Gorgeous property overall. Remote, well kept, quiet. I would caution people with smaller cars; the driveway is VERY perilous and our car could barely get up some of the roads. Once we made the drive a few times, it got a little easier. Plus, I've never seen wild bears so close before! I would probably stay here again.
It was overall wonderful, we booked Saturday-Wednesday but added additional dates because we weren’t ready to leave. We got married on Saturday so this was a honeymoon getaway. The cabin is very cozy and heartwarming. There’s needs to be some brighter lights in the bathroom upstairs. At first I was skeptical about driving up the mountain but once we got there it wasn’t bad at all. We do wish the roads were a little wider. The Sauna was great and so was the jacuzzi and the hot tub was really nice. Definitely would book this cabin again for another getaway for two. Diana was also great at responding quickly when I had additional questions. Overall a great experience at this beautiful cabin.
Can't say enough good things about our stay on this beautiful property. The wrap around deck in my opinion is the best part of the house and you will find yourself spending most of the time outside on the swinging bench or hammock. If you want to see bears this is the property to go to! Saw tons on our stay and had a joy watching them go by. The entire house feels so huge for a 1 bedroom and you have so much room to do anything that it's great for all pets. A few things I would change would be the bed pillows and the shower heads. Other then that I can't complain about much! I recommend this place to anyone staying in Gatlinburg!
We really enjoyed our stay here, but the property could use a few touches. The location is wonderful but as others have mentioned the drive up the mountain and the driveway itself are not for the faint of heart-by the end of our stay it was routine. The cabin was very clean and had all the basics. The hot tub outdoors was wonderful after a hard day of hiking. The missing blinds in the loft area meant waking up with the sun around 6am which should be an easy fix but it was annoying. Lighting in the bathroom could be improved and an extra roll of toilet paper or two would be nice. Management was very nice and even called when the battery in the door lock died. Really close to a perfect rental.
The cabin is nice, but is lacking in essentials (scissors, pens, notepad, lighter, etc.) The shower had terrible water pressure and the hot tub didn't seem to get very hot. I suggest going a bit past the driveway, using the turing around and coming down the road to access the house. Checked in during the hurricane, so was stuck inside for a bit- would have been nice to have a smart TV. But the fireplace was cozy (dial on top!), the bed was comfortable, and the location is really great for quick trips into Gatlinburg and PF.
The home is exactly as pictured with beautiful, high quality furnishings. We enjoyed the hot tub and the sauna. The wrap around porch is where we spent most of our time. There were more than enough towels available for our use. The bears are active. We saw them every day at dawn and dusk. Day one a Mama and three cubs wandered up and stood on their hindlegs and looked up at us and then came up on the porch. We went inside when they came up the steps. It was definitely a great addition to our stay. The driveway could be a challenge but we immediately found it’s best to pull straight in and then back up to the steps for an easy out. This property is definitely on our list for a future trip.
Husband and I enjoyed getting away for our anniversary. This location is great as not too far from town to grab essentials and enjoy Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge.
Very clean cabin and nice, clean hot tub. Cabin had all the essentials we needed with many frying pans of all sizes. This made breakfast easy.
Would have liked to have seen a smart TV available. Make sure you bring your own pillows and essentials as there are no hygiene products or kitchen cleaning products outside of dish washing detergent.
You are informed of no washing detergent onsite as there is a W/D combo.
Had to call about a hairdryer as the box was empty and one was delivered within 30 mins. They are very responsive.
Very happy with the management of the site.
The cabin is great, the hot tub, sauna, pool table,, fireplace, and wood structure inside and out of the cabin are nice features that added to the comfort and enjoyment of the cabin.
We had everything we needed, such as towels, utensils, soaps, toilet paper, etc. This cabin is perfect for a couple on a romantic weekend. I stayed with a friend, we both had a place to sleep, but it would have been nice to have our separate rooms to go to. There is one bedroom upstairs with no door due to the structure of the cabin.
The bedroom upstairs is very large, and open with a whirlpool bathtub, and there are dual shower-heads in the walk-in shower in the bathroom. I have to say the drive way was the only negative thing about the cabin. However, I got used to the driveway by the third time I going up the hill. Slow and steady wins the race.
Same weekend as last year. Check-in was flawless as it was last year. Location is perfect and secluded, even with neighbors across the street and on either side. Quiet and serene. The roads up to the cabin and the drive way is always a little nerve wrecking, more so in my husband's truck than my car. The roads are narrow. This year there was snow for several days, but the town of Gatlinburg does a superb job on keeping the roads passable. The drive way is steep and you have to turn around up the road to be able to enter the driveway. Last year we did not use the sauna, this year my husband did. In his opinion, it did not get as hot as he anticipated. The shower was perfect last year when we stayed. This year, the water pressure was lacking. (I have shared this with the owners.) The only thing we would change about the shower besides the water pressure is a bench and more shower heads. We feel there is a lot of wasted space in the shower. The two tv's in the cabin are not smart tv's. We were out and about most of the days we were there, but the last day we were at the cabin. We did say several times that we wish there was a smart tv for us to watch "our" shows. We do love the cabin so much that we have stayed twice to mark a special time in our lives. We would definitely book again. It warm and welcoming and comfortable.

First Smoky Mountains Trip
First things first, the reviews that complain about the driveway are NO joke. We even checked Google Maps/Earth to see what was in store and we expected it to be bad...it was even worse, especially in a large vehicle (truck). We ended up taking an Uber downtown when we wanted to go out to avoid having to navigate the driveway-narrow, steep, limited visibility.
After that, the cabin is very nice. The porch is an incredible place to drink your morning coffee, and the hot tub is excellent to relax in the evening. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The cabin was mostly clean, minus some cobwebs in the corners. The welcome kit (dishwasher tabs, 2 rolls of toilet paper) was a nice touch. Check in was super easy.
The bathroom is beautiful, but as other reviews have stated, lighting could be improved. The shower is a beautiful dark stone, but with no lighting, it did not make for a good experience. Lighting overall left something to be desired, with mismatched warm/cool bulbs.
The pool table was nice, and the kitchen is immaculate with everything you could need. Location is nice enough to be remote, though there is at least one close neighbor who could potentially see full view of the hot tub from their porch. There is not much of a view at this cabin, due to being blocked by trees. The listing states it borders SMNP and while it may, there is no way to access the park/any trails from the cabin. Overall, not a bad stay. Host is responsive and helpful.
Definitely the amenities and view! Mountain View’s, Hot tub, pool, jacuzzi, sauna & the amazing double shower that I loved to sing and worship in! Such an amazing mini honeymoon! We will def be back!
