Come enjoy your stay at Bear Foot Haven...the perfect location in the "Summit of Gatlinburg". This beautiful 3 bedroom 2 bath condo is located just 3.5 miles from downtown Gatlinburg's strip. This is the perfect location for a family vacation or a weekend getaway.
Upon entering the unit, you will find both entry level bedrooms are roomy with Queen beds in each. There is a full bathroom with tub/shower combo in the master bedroom. The guest bathroom is just outside the guest bedroom with a full shower.
The open floor plan between the full kitchen area and living space finds a beautiful fireplace with a cozy dining nook in the corner. Up the spiral staircase, you will find the loft bedroom which is perfect for both children and/or additional guests. The loft bedroom includes two bunk beds with twin size beds over full size beds on each, and caution should be used with small children to avoid falls. TV's are available in all bedrooms and living space. There is a small balcony on the back to admire breathtaking views of the mountains. The Summit of Gatlinburg also has a seasonal outdoor pool, heated indoor pool, two indoor hot tubs, a small playground area, picnic tables and charcoal grills, and also coin operated laundry on site. Firewood is available for purchase at the club house in the colder months. ** UPDATE** THE POOL HOUSE RENOVATION IS ON SCHEDULED TO BE COMPLETE END OF APRIL EVERYTHING IN THE POOL HOUSE HOT TUB AREA WILL BE NEW . PLEASE NOTE DUE TO RENOVATIONS THE INDOOR POOL/HOT TUB AREA IS STILL CURRENTLY CLOSED .

Cute Little Surprise!
The pictures don't do this place justice. Its a nice homey little place to hang out! My kids thoroughly enjoyed themselves and have asked to go back! I will say there is some minor things to be worked on, but nothing that stopped us from enjoying our first trip to the mountains. I've already started scoping out dates to return!

Top floor no elevator
Please list that this condo is the top floor and no elevator. We had 2 elderly people and myself who has back problems had to carry everything up a ton of stairs. This really needs to be addressed.

The only suggestions I would have are needs more towels, batteries in the remote and some extra blankets. It had plenty of pillows. It had beautiful views!

A nicer condo
The condo was easy to find and clean. Good location to see the bears. There were a few things that need to be addressed (no extra trash bags could be found, the one stove burner did not work, a wasp nest is in the works on the balcony and we think the fridge might be leaking water). Overall, not terrible. Owner was easy to communicate with. Did not care for the mountain roads, but the scenery getting to condo made it worth while.

The Mountains are Calling
Very surprised at how much room the apartment had. Deceiving on the outside. Also, you get beautiful sunrise views just across the parking lot or from the toilet in the master bathroom! Just lift the shade! Early mornings and dusk provide opportunities to view bears from the third floor balcony. As for the balcony, it could use some new boards, studier chairs and a fresh coat of paint. The complex has a nice outdoor pool. The indoor pool is currently under construction, which is fine since it’s summer. We loved staying high up in the mountains near Ober Ski Resort. If winding roads and steep climbs aren’t your thing, this would not be the place for you. Also, you have to walk up three flights of stairs to get to the apartment. To us, it was worth it. Will return!

Unit was dirty. Bathroom floors hadn’t been swept for awhile. Balcony door didn’t lock. There were 6 of us staying, and only 4 towels . No stopper for bathtub. We will not stay here again.
