This property has been recently renovated with brand new flooring throughout, new couches, new beds, Roku-enabled TVs in each room, sit down arcade game and digital pinball machine for the kids, and a great living space for the adults!

The two community pools are open until Labor Day including brand new pickleball courts! Guests are reminded to take care in leaving the pool keys at the property upon checkout.

"Fore' A Good Time" is located in the prestigious Cobbly Nob Resort, adjacent to the Smoky Mountain National Park and seconds from the award winning Bent Creek 18-hole Golf Course. Before your tee time, enjoy your morning coffee on two attached decks which overlook timeless views of the Smoky Mountains. In the evening, relax next to the fireplace, grill up some grub on the grill, decompress in the outdoor hot tub, or head into town to experience everything Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge have to offer!

Love nature, but don't love the crowds? We are just 10 minutes from the Greenbrier entrance of the Smoky Mountain National Park which offers easy and moderately difficult hiking trails, swimming holes, fishing spots, and mountain biking - all without the traffic of the main park entrance.

Our 3-level cabin is equipped with an indoor dining area, as well as outdoor seating on the decks for you to utilize to eat, drink, relax, and enjoy. Bedrooms on each level are equipped with cozy, king size beds, Roku Smart TVs, and full bathrooms with tub showers. Our two leather couches fold out into brand new queen size beds. On the lower level, the game room is the perfect place to stream your favorite shows and movies on our 65" TV, or go for the high score on our electronic pinball and sit-down multicade arcade. We have a fully equipped kitchen for meal prep including a refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, coffee maker, Keurig, and dishwasher plus cutlery, cookware, mugs, dinnerware, and more.

We are located 20 minutes from downtown Gatlinburg and approximately 30 minutes from Pigeon Forge where you can enjoy Dollywood, dinner shows, go-carts, and countless other attractions. Visit the Arts and Crafts Community Loop, compete at the Rocky Top Sports World complex, play a round of golf, or take the Gatlinburg Sky Lift to the top of the Smoky Mountains! No matter how many times you visit Gatlinburg, you'll always find something new and exciting to do during your stay!

From Memorial Day to Labor Day, guests are welcome to use either of the 2 Cobbly Nob community pools. Roads in the community are private, fully paved, and cleared. The cabin is located on a mountain, but it is not difficult to get up or down. The road to the cabin includes a few switchbacks and a couple of moderately steep portions but nothing a small two wheel drive vehicle and mountain-experienced driver can't handle.

We provide all towels and linens along with a starter pack of toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, trash bags and dishwasher detergent. For those with extended stays (3 or more nights) we recommend bringing some from home or purchasing locally.

BUGS AND CRITTERS

Fore' a Good Time is a cabin in the woods and although we have a pest control service that sprays quarterly, it is entirely possible you will see some type of bugs both inside and outside. Leaving the doors closed behind you will prevent some. On rainy days especially it's common to see millipedes trying to find refuge indoors. NEVER leave food or trash outside and always watch your step! It is bear season! We have black bears that frequent the neighborhood. Please remember that these are wild animals and should be left at a safe distance.

Property was easy to get too (pretty steep hill & some sharp turns), clean & well kept. Very spacious & roomy, kids loved the game room & hot tub. Stocked kitchen to easily make meals & snacks & bathroom in each bedroom. Will definitely be booking again.

Perfect For families

We had such a wonderful stay at this cabin, and would recommend for anyone. Our kids loved the game room, it kept them busy in the evenings after our long days. Each bedroom had its own bathroom which was great, since we had multiple families with us. It is close in proximity to all the touristy attractions, as well as the park entrances. We even had an amazing bear encounter right outside our cabin! We will definitely be back!

Beautiful location

The property was nice and clean, roads to the unit were a trip, however we go used to it. Pools were very nice. Decks and hot tub were wonderful. Location was great to easily get to the tourist attractions as well as the Smokey park entrance and felt secluded in the woods.

Rented to be close to Rocky Top Sports World. Cabin was clean and close to the athletic complex. the boys enjoyed the arcade. Lots of sleeping room for our group. It was a little further from restaurants than we thought, but we enjoyed the stay!

5 star, wonderful place kind owners

We had a wonderful time at this property. The only the thing is that the beds on all three bedrooms need attention from a handyman. When I contacted the owner , he was very willing to make this happen just not able to do so during our stay due to time. Lovely spot with great views. There is a mountain drive to get to the cabin but it was well maintained and clear.

A Great Place to Be!

We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend to others. The cabin is close to everything yet tucked away to feel private. The beds were comfortable, plenty of towels, and the home was clean. The kitchen was stocked with cooking and eating supplies, and the hosts have clearly anticipated the needs of guests. A nice hot tub and fun video games added to the uniqueness of this amazing place.

Fall Break

The home was absolutely beautiful, I’ll give it a 20 out of 10 for being spotless clean. Everything was great. We saw 4 bears. Beds had nice linens, fully stocked kitchen, and plenty of towels. The hot tub was sparkling clean and it had the arcade and foosball table which was nice too. I highly recommend this property. The owners checked on us and asked if if we needed anything, which was very nice as well. Thanks for a great experience 🙂

Perfect for Us

This cabin was perfect for what we needed while travelling with our family of 4 and my in-laws. The main level was a great fit for my father-in-law who can't go up and down many stairs. He had access to everything he needed. We enjoyed many relaxing hours sitting on the porch and the trip to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge was managable. The owners were very helpful throughout the stay as well. Highly recommended!

Comfortable cabin with perks

My family of 5 (3 adults, 2 teens) stayed in the cabin and it was the perfect for us. We loved that each bedroom had it's own bathroom. My son slept downstairs on the couch and was very comfortable. We loved having the hot tub and game room. We did see a bear and he went right under the deck we were sitting in! My Only complaint was that the mountain view was non existent bc the trees blocked the view. I'm sure at one point the view was good, but trees grow!

Quiet 3 bedroom cabin on a mountain in a private community

We recently traveled to Gatlinburg so that our teenage daughter could compete in a dance competition over Independence Day. This property was a great pet friendly option for the 3 of us to be within 20 minutes of the convention center and not have to deal with the downtown traffic congestion, parking fees and crowds. It was convenient to make 1 or more daily homemade meals in the kitchen, sit on the deck in the morning drinking coffee, BBQ with charcoal just outside the cabin, do light laundry and sleep in a comfortable bed. During our 9 night stay, we saw an adult bear in the road, a cub just beneath the lower deck playing on a fallen tree, and another bear just outside the front of the cabin.

Steep and Serene

Nice spacious condo. No view but very serene. Pinball did not work. Make sure you have the door code somewhere other than the inbox on Vrbo when you arrive bc there’s absolutely zero internet connection until you sign into WiFi. We had to drive back down to another cabin for WiFi so we could get in. Also plan to arrive in daylight as it is pretty steep incline with a couple of hairpin turns. Beds were very comfortable and the hottie was nice in the evening.

A true mountain retreat

My family and I just returned from a vacation in the mountains of Tennessee. We enjoyed the marvelous attractions that the area offers. After indulging in many activities in the Gatlinburg Pigeon Forge area, we were able to retire to a fantastic cabin retreat that was just a few minutes away from all the attractions. The cabin had breathtaking mountain views and was located in a quiet and serene neighborhood, where we found everything equipped for all our needs. My husband and I traveled with our three teenage daughters, as well as my adult daughter, son-in-law, and grandbaby. This cabin offered us all a nice private respite area of our own. The girls enjoyed the gaming area on the bottom level and their own private space. We are looking forward to visiting again.

The photos Kyle & his team have posted do not do this property justice. It is beyond serene & peaceful. The property was very clean, comfortable & spacious. Outside of the fireplace not working, the description is on point. Luckily we had a gorgeous weekend in the 70s & did not need heat until night fall. Kyle was so responsive, checked in on us the following morning as well. When entering the driveway prepare for a sharp right turn into the drive way. My family & I will absolutely stay on property in the future. Thank you Kyle & team for the hospitality!!
