This was a beautiful cabin. It was very clean and had wonderful amenities. The kitchen was well equipped and the deck was great. Checkin was very easy and we loved the location. We would definitely stay again.
Absolutely loved your cabin!! Especially with each floor having king size beds and full baths. Beautiful sitting out on the porch, getting in the hot tub and just a short trip to downtown Gatlinburg!!
Beautiful location, great property. Lots of space and nice to have outdoor balcony access on 2 floors to watch the animals and scenery. Would definitely stay again. The management company was very sweet and checked in with us before and texted during.
A cozy cabin with three king-size beds.Cabin needs some work on a shower leak upstairs, a hot. Tub leak, main floor bathroom has a running problem and two roaches appeared the last day. Otherwise we had a good stay. We enjoyed the scenery and hiking.
House was good overall. Great location and quiet community. My two teens loved the hot tub and pool table, we played endless games of pool. The mattresses could be updated and some new pool cues would make it perfect.Thanks.
Great family weekend. Expected crowds to be died down more but it was still fairly busy in gatlinburg. We really enjoyed the cabin. Nice and cozy. I did expect a bigger living room area from the pics but other than that it was just right!
It was a perfect weekend Getaway! There was a high chair for my 1 yr old grandbaby, Keurig and coffee pot. Beautifully decorated cabin. The beds are all very comfortable. Thankyou for a great weekend to celebrate my daughters birthday and enjoy the mountains!
Property was very clean, easy to navigate , lot of room for 6 of us. Ideal that had a bedroom on lower level, entry level and then Upper loft. Steep driveway was a bit challenging for parking two cars but we made it work. Host was easy to communicate with and answered any and all questions quickly. Nice cabin.
I booked our summer vacation with a family of 10. I received text messages checking on us during the check in/out process. They reached out to made sure that we had everything we needed during our stay. We enjoyed the view from the deck and the kids were happy with the many TV’s that our cabin had. We were so close to everything we wanted to see and do. We also made use of the hot tub which was very enjoyable in the evenings! The beds were very comfortable and we had plenty of room. Very happy with our stay!!!
We have used Black Bear before, and it's always always been excellent. This week was no exception. We had a real surprise about two days in. We were visited by about about a 200 pound mama bear and her two babies right on the back porch. they didn't see us and we didn't make any noise and they exited pretty quickly, but we have a memory that will last forever. We will definitely be back to the black bear cabins in the future. Great place for a family stay.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Adventure Lodge! It was so perfect to everything we wanted to do, both in Gatlinburg and at the cabin! The hot tub was a welcome addition on the cold nights. Some things we did notice:Upstairs bathroom-the hot water in the shower never was hotter than lukewarm.Downstairs bathroom-plugs do not fit in tightly in the outlet by the sink; water continually running in toilet; door from game room to bathroom won’t stay shut, even when locked. We recommend this place to everyone and look forward to staying again!
We loved our stay at Black Bear Falls. Cabin was spacious and clean. The three levels with a master bedroom on each level allowed for privacy and uninterrupted sleep. We enjoyed the pool area at the resort which is a walkable distance from the cabin. The location is 5 minutes to Gatlinburg and 15 minutes to Pigeon Forge. The drive is relatively easy without having to drive too many curvy mountain roads. One warning...the driveway to the cabin is very steep and you have to be careful not to bottom out when pulling out. Management was very responsive and provided great information on places to eat and things to do in the area. We would definitely stay here again.
We enjoyed our stay in this cabin - it was very convenient to everything! Rooms were nice and we all enjoyed the hot tub.
Biggest complaint was the bear box was not effective at keeping bears out. We awoke one night to banging, and a huge bear had opened the bear box, taken the trash can out and there was garbage everywhere. I would not recommend putting garbage in it.
We had such a great time and this cabin was perfect for us! We had everything we needed to have home cooked dinners at the cabin as a family but were close enough to downtown to spend the days doing all the things Gatlinburg offers! The TVs provided all around ensured there were no fights between kids and adults on who watched what before bed and in tbe early morning wake ups from the littles. And the hot tub was a huge hit amoungst all, during the chilly rainy weekend.
The only thing we could suggest better was to ensure toiletries are supplied in more abundance. We had to buy toilet paper and ran out of dishwasher pods during our stay. And lastly, more towels would also be a great help, maybe separate towels specific for the hot tub. These little things would have just put our stay over the top excellent!
Beautiful home in an excellent location! Great space with plenty of room for our party of 7. We loved the large king suites and the hot tub. Decor was perfect for the location as was the seating on the porch.
Just a few small items that should be addressed to make the experience even better:
1. More than one dish towel should be provided for a week long stay
2. New kitchen trash can is needed as the foot pedal was broken and we had to open the lid by hand. Also, the trash can had a tiny bathroom trash bag in it which required immediate replacement.
3. There were no storage containers in the kitchen to store leftover food.
Black Bear Log home community was a very convienient location and great setting. We loved the layout, beautiful windows/wood views and decor of the cabin with 3 master suites, even though only 3 of us. The decks felt very private and alot of tv's. The cons were walkway to cabin could have been alot better, must carry suitcases etc due to the disjointed rock pathway and tracks alot of debris. Drive way steep and needed larger turnaround at top (Hard turning around in 4 runner, only had 1 vehicle staying) definetly would be hard for most people backing down. Hot tub cover removal needed bar/lid set up, ackward to remove. Having rented multiple cabins the cleanliness could have been a little better. Main area good, lower level and decks lacking.Needed good deep clean, if privately owned I would want to know this. With all this said we would rent again definetly.
