We enjoyed staying here. Its a very quite area. The cabin was clean. The host was very informative about the cabin and had great communication with me. I will recommend this place to family and friends looking to stay in Gatlinburg.
Cabin was very spacious, clean, nicely appointed. Had most of what we needed in kitchen, Dollar store and Grocery nearby for additional wants. Overall very relaxing property in beautiful surroundings. Roads in and out took a little getting used to. Winter driving might be a challenge without 4 wheel drive but we did just fine.
We had a great time at the cozy cabin was able to prepare a nice grilled steak dinner and relax in the hot tub. Walked the strip in gatlinburg to see all the xmas lights.perfect 2 day mini vacation.
Perfect size cabin for my husband and me. The cabin looked just like the photos and was very clean and comfortable. We even got to see a mama bear and two cubs. It wasn’t far to get to Gatlinburg and we enjoyed the arts and crafts community.
We absolutely loved everything about Sweet Pickins! Roomy enough for the 5 of us, very quiet neighborhood, secluded enough but only minutes away from downtown. Also very clean and communication with owners was quick and easy! We will definitely be back to stay again!!
Sweet Pickens is a beautiful cabin that was just the right size for my Husabnd and myself. Equipped with a hot tub that was utilized every night. The property is exactly as stated in the description. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It had many accommodations and was close to a grocery store.
My senior graduate and I snuck off for a week in the mountains and stayed at Sweet Pickins. It was clean, perfectly set up, and beyind comfortable. We didn’t want to leave! Definitely would stay again.
This cabin was the perfect size for the 5 of us. The kids had fun using all the amenities it offers. It was nice to stay in a cabin that is up in the mountains but wasn’t too far from Gatlinburg where going into town for dinner was a hassle. Overall everyone loved being there and we look forward to booking it again in the future.
Sweet pickins cabin was a 5 star place for us. It was a very comfortble, clean cabin where we felt right at home. The location was perfect , as it sits on the outskirts of town but close to local artisan shops where you can shop without the crouds and hubbub of nearby Gatlinburg. The layout of the cabin was thoughtful and perfect for us.
This is a beautiful cabin: clean, spacious, and even decorated for the holidays! The kids loved the air hockey table and arcade games. The hot tub was perfect after a long day spent hiking. Honestly, the pictures are lovely, but the cabin is even nicer in person. I would certainly recommend. And the owners were very responsive with any questions we had.
Cute and cozy. Everything was just as described in pictures. Location was good. I have a small suv we call the GrammyMobile and she did great getting down to the cabin.
Perfect mix of cozy and spacious, convenient and set apart
Cute and cozy without feeling small, loved the hot tub and the tub in the master bedroom! I don't know if this is standard in the area or something, but we loved that the bathroom had its own additional built in heater. The road getting out to it was a bit interesting (steep or narrow at point, some quick turns), but we loved the location- convenient enough, and far enough from the craziness of Gatlinburg.
We enjoyed our weekend stay at Sweet Pickens. The drive down to the cabin had some major potholes and am glad we had a vehicle with high clearance. The beds were very comfy and everything felt very cozy! The cabin was exactly as described and would recommend to others. Just be careful with the shower door, it gets stuck and you feel like you are trapped inside. :)
This property is perfect for anyone who is looking for solidarity and peacefulness of seclusion. This stay was one of the most relaxing stays I’ve been able to enjoy. The property owners were easy to contact with, eager to help with any problem-solving or issues that could occur. I give my recommendation to anybody that is looking for something of this nature and I can’t wait to experience it again.
We made the long trip from MN and everything was just as advertised. We received great communications from the owners. While we were on the go a lot during our trip this cabin was a great retreat away from the hustle and bustle of downtown Gatlinburg. It did take a little extra time to get places but it was quiet and comfortable and we had everything we needed.
Cabin was easy to find. Found it really clean along with the hot tub. WIFI worked great. TV got the sports channels needed. Bed was comfortable. It only took a couple of minutes to get down to Glades Rd and then to Hwy 321. We did not cook, so I can't comment on what is available to cook a meal. Only a couple of very minor negatives. The shade on the front door was broken and the bathroom sink needs a drain stopper. We will return if available next trip to Gatlinburg.
