A great place to stay as we were on our 15 year anniversary. We loved the location, the view the BEARS! overall a great place to spend the week if you want a great getaway!
It was an awesome cabin. It was perfect for our stay. It was relaxing and peaceful. Just what we was looking forward to. The view of the mountains wasn't what we expected, but overall I still rate it 5.
The cabin was clean. It was quiet and peaceful but the view of the mountains pictured in the listing was not visible from the cabin, which was one of the reasons we picked that cabin. Overall it was a nice getaway.
Everything was awesome. The only thing that i think needs done in cabin is. TV upgrade and TV upstairs!!but over all it was very nice!! Pluss i liked that Bears and 2 cubs was in my driveway which was sweet to see!!:)) good times!!
The cabin was secluded but had a few neighbors but not close enough to bother you. The cabin alwas everything that one could want. I stayed for 10 days just to get away and relax. I ended up turning my phone off just to get peace and this was the perfect cabin for that. The driveway was a little tight but i managed.
Peaceful and quiet getaway from the crowded busyness of Gatlinburg. Multiple cabins in the area, but far enough away to feel secluded. The drive to the cabin was about 8 min due to all the hills and curves, not an easy, relaxing drive, but very doable. Great cabin for the price!
Cabin was nice, little short on counter space, but able to make it work, has everything you need if you wanted to cook your own meals, and was comfortable for the two of us
Very clean!! The view was great. Watched 2 bear walk across the property from the deck one morning. It was very quiet, which was great.Only complaint….blinds were broken on front door and windows beside it.Needs some upgrades on furniture and new sheets. But would go back again
The cabin was better than we expected when we arrived. Very little communication was required for the stay. The cabin was clean and a good size for a couple or a small family. The cabin does feel rather secluded in the woods but is not far from town however the road to get to the cabin is a little rough but any vehicle should be able to get there just fine. All in all it was a wonderful stay and we will try to stay at this cabin again if we are in the area.
We had a fabulous time. Our GPS brought us right to the spot…just a little confusing when gps told us to do a u turn at top of hill…when all we had to do was go straight ahead and cabin was slightly off to the left. The cabin was clean, cozy, and property management was very responsive. Every day we saw momma bear and her three cubs!! Very exciting… they wandered thru backyard and had no problems with us getting pictures of them!! We will definitely return!! Thank you

Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. The cabin is exactly as advertised—cozy, with beautiful views. It’s close enough to Gatlinburg to be just a few minutes from everything we wanted to do, yet far enough away to feel quiet and peaceful. It had everything we needed, but it could use some TLC.A few recommendations: the cabin is dated, from the appliances to the furniture and general amenities. A refresh would make a big difference. The front-porch fan is missing its blades and a working light, and since it’s the first thing you see when you arrive, it sets the tone. The bed was extremely firm—honestly one of the hardest I’ve ever slept on—and the upstairs half bath has no privacy wall, so if someone uses it, the person in bed has a front-row view. The TV’s sound quality was so poor it was hard to understand dialogue, the couches were worn out and had an odor, and the driveway potholes left our car splattered in mud. The fireplace is gas and easy to use, but it appears to have been wood-burning at one time. The old chimney, which is no longer functional, has a large hole near the roof by the bedroom window, and squirrels have moved in. We heard them constantly. In short, the chalet is cute and cozy, and with some updates and small improvements, it could easily be the perfect weekend getaway spot.

Everything is old
Cute property, however nothing has been updated in several years. The dryer didn’t work well. There was no internet and we were told to go to the kitchen window and hold the phone to the right side to pick up internet from another property. My husband had to move gravel around in the driveway to keep my car from bottoming out because of the deep rut. This place could be a gorgeous getaway with some care and good updates but no care has been given.
What was missing? Sleep! I can get past the appliances that look like they belong in an antique store and yet still miraculously work, or the couch that looks like it was found on the side of a road, i can overlook the undersized well/pump system that left thehouses on this property without water for 2 days (manager refunded and was very helpful), i can get over the lack of a good view due to powerlines or the damaged/tight driveway, but the bed...that bed was absolutely horrible. That mattress was hard as a rock, leaving us both tossing and turning all night, every night. The indentions on the bed where people have been trying to sleep over the decades shouldve deterred us, but it was a holiday week and the town was full. The town itself was great, the manager of the property was attentive, just excited to get home to a bed i can sleep on...property is in serious need of updated furniture before its worth anywhere near what theyre charging. If it looks the same in the pictures and price is over 50/night with all vrbo fees added, run...find a tent with a sleeping bag and mininal rocks, you can thank me later. I

Ok-cabin, close to town
It was ok….convenient to town center. This was not a “budget” stay but it felt like it…. No signal in the mountains, no wifi on property, and I was hopeful because there was a phone on the wall, but it had been disconnected. The furniture was well used and very old. A well-used spring mattress had body dips in it that was extremely uncomfortable, also an odd setup upstairs. A privacy drape around the toilet would be nice. A poorly maintained driveway. I will add that this place gave us the serious creeps….and we live on 20 acres in a rural area ourselves. We actually ended up leaving the first night because we heard footsteps outside the cabin and rapping on the windows. I don’t know what it was about this stay, but we traveled a bunch and never felt this uncomfortable even in a lesser priced accommodation. The ONLY reason we didn’t find alternative accommodations after the first night was because it was labor day weekend and there wasn’t anywhere that had vacancy.
