The cabin was as pictured. It’s located on the top of a very narrow, windy road, close enough to town but still private. We had some issues with basic things not being in the cabin on arrival (pots and pans, glasses) but the owner was very responsive and brought us the items we requested. The dryer did not work before/ during our stay. The house was a little quirky- they did not have a basic coffee pot but did have a French press. Volume on the TV downstairs did not work. Lots of game boxes without the pieces inside to play the games… Air hockey table didn’t work. Railings on 20+ foot porch were rotted through.. held on by a L bracket so we could not allow out children on the upstairs porches. The views were nice and the house was private. Really just needs some basic maintenance and upkeep to make it a 5.
Our cabin was nice. We had a few issues that I feel should have taken care before our arrival. The fire place didn’t work and the dryer didn’t work. They did offer to come fix it , but we weren’t comfortable having someone there while we were not there . And since we were there on vacation I didn’t feel it was right to sit around and wait on a repair man . That’s not what we paid for. Several of the smoke detectors were beeping due to low batteries. So that was annoying. So we took it upon ourselves to replace the batteries. Other than those things I just mentioned. It’s a nice cabin. Does need some tlc tho . Back deck needs some repairs and hot tub needs a new cover. Not sure if we will rebook there. But it has some gorgeous views.
Ease of check in was great. The house was beautiful & big enough for 13 of us. Saw 3 bears the first night. That was a highlight for us. The view wasn't the best this time of year. Still all around great house.
Calming, breathtaking, comfortable all adjectives I’d use to describe this beautiful cabin in the Smoky Mountains. The house is immaculate and has all of the comforts of home. The decks and hot tub overlook the beautiful mountains and you can just feel the stress of life melt away. The owners were amazing, attentive to our every need. I highly recommend this property to anyone looking for some time away in this gorgeous part of Tennessee.
The description of the cabin is spot on - Majestic and tranquil!
The description of the cabin is spot on! It is a majestic place for the entire family. The decor truly sets the scene from the wall paintings to the lamps and all of the cute knick knacks throughout the cabin. Outside of the spectacular view of the mountain tops the cabin has plenty to keep you entertained or assist with your relaxation. From the billiard table to the movie theater there is plenty to keep the kiddos or those young at heart busy. If it’s relaxation you’re after, try a dip in the hot tub or wind down in one of the rocking chairs at sunset. There’s also no need to bring any extras because it’s already been provided. The kitchen is fully stocked to provide all the utensils/cutlery you might need, including pots and pans. Our stay was during Thanksgiving and we had everything we needed.
Justin was an excellent host! He checked in to ensure we had everything we needed and was quick to respond to any questions we had during our stay. We even had a digital guide to show us local restaurants and entertainment nearby. Our stay was an enjoyable experience.

Uncomfortable & Unsafe Stay
My overall impression was the cabin was beautiful, there were some issues with minor details regarding cleanliness of upstairs. However, our biggest issue was the heat was not working in such extreme temperatures -0 outside with temperature in home when arrived at 51 degrees f. I contacted the host several times, and the response was to make sure the heat was on, when he was informed that we could not switch the heat on due to the thermostat being locked, I was then told "they would adjust on their end and contact the owner" the response time got longer and longer. I contacted the number on the listing 4 times that evening, for reference we checked in at 5pm and could not remove hats and coats. To sum the rest of this up, we were told to "hunker down and close the vents" some of the vents were already closed which lead me to believe the property owner knew already. In summary the heat did not work and it was unsafe for us to stay other than the one night, we would have left that same evening if it was safe to drive off the mountain.
Very dissatisfied.
