Perfect location, beautiful setting and property! Close to everything but up.and away from everything to get the vacation/cabin feel! Kids LOVED pool and adults loved the firepot area!
This cabin was the absolute highlight of our trip. There’s so much fun to be had in the area, but this was the perfect place to host a group! There’s something for kids, something for the pool crowd, something for the s’more lovers. Everyone had a blast hanging out here and we wish we could have stayed longer!
Great location and house. We saw bears everyday, watched 4th of July fireworks from the deck. The kids and adults loved the pool and hot tub. The bedrooms were great.
The house was spacious and well furnished for our family. The ages of our group of 27 ranged from 92 to 3 months. The kids loved the bunk beds, game consoles, and theater.

Cabin stay
Cabin was very dusty, floors were filthy, fans didn’t work in ground floor, we found all tv’s very hard to manage and trash can lid was broken as well as the dishwasher door handle!! You would think that a cabin rented in the winter would be decorated with Christmas decor. Nothing, not a tree on any floor no decorations not the first, the young kids were very disappointed as well as the adults! Cabin was very spacious I’ll give it that , outside view by fire pit was very nice! Overall very upset at the cabin as a whole package!!
Overall, the cabin was nice. Bedrooms and bathrooms were clean. Plenty of space for 25 people. Ample plates, silverware, cups and coffee pots. Everything we needed to cook or grill. (We bought a grill to use, bring your own if you have a large number of people).Complaints: an alarm on the refrigerator went off all night, all 3 floors could hear it in every bedroom, very little sleep that night. They did come out the next day to disconnect the alarm. We found cockroaches in the kitchen cabinet (plates/bowls) 3 separate times. One of the kitchen faucets was not secure. The 'heated' pool was a heated room, not heated water, it was very cold. The grill is a very small charcoal grill, not conducive to cook for 25 people. At over 12K for 4 nights I would expect excellence, high end appliances, with exemplary cleanliness. We will look elsewhere for our next stay.
We had a wonderful time in this beautiful cabin! The space was perfect for our team work retreat. Everything is just like the pictures and description. The management company was wonderful and very responsive. The location was very convenient to town and the views were incredible. We will absolutely stay here again if we return to Gatlinburg on another team trip.
We loved this property. We had plenty of space for everyone. Had a few TVs that could not stream but I think it was just too many folks on the internet at one time. Otherwise this property was perfect for us. We would definitely stay again.
The house was just as it is listed online. It is large, beautiful, well equipped, and is great for a group of kids and parents alike. We all loved the firepit and the adults enjoyed evenings playing cards at the large beautiful kitchen tables while the kids had the basement to themselves. The beds are comfortable and everyone had their own bathroom. The views are beautiful and it is a short yet winding drive down into Gatlinburg. Great house!!
This was our annual Christmas vacation although it was our firt time at this cabin. It was wonderful. Although there are only 30 of us and the cabin sleeps 55 it was perfect! The cabin is our “Gift” to the family and we chose based on the number of bedrooms so that each person/ group/ couple can have privacy. This cabin’s kitchen was also the best stocked with cookware/ dishes/ silverware/ etc than Any we have stayed
Traveled with a group of 28 (12 adults, 16 kids). We always enjoy the Smoky Mountain area. This cabin was by far the best we've used. It had everything we needed (kitchen needs, pool/hot tub needs, fire pit, linen/towels for room). Only issue was with wifi (did not work during stay), but we had plenty to do, so that was not much of a problem in the end. We did have a couple bear visits, which provided much excitement for the kids. Overall, would definitely book again. Can't wait until we plan our next Smoky Mountain visit.
This is a beautiful cabin that exceeded my expectations. The pictures do not do it justice. Location and views were fabulous. The bears came to visit every dawn and dusk. It was challenging not to feed them as they were adorable. Kitchen was well equipped but lacked a colander and big cutting board. Knives were crazy dull. All else was in abundance in terms of flatware plates cups etc. I saw reviews complaining about fridge but you can turn the alarm off and it cooled to 33 degrees over night and stayed cold. One person complained of bugs but the only bugs we saw came in when kids left the doors open. Pool was wonderful and heated. Fire pit is gas and works great but takes a minute to turn on so be patient. Grill was charcoal and plenty of grill utensils. A/C was fantastic and separate controls for floors. It’s a large cabin so a little noisy with a big family. The cabin met all our expectations and contributed to a memorable family vacation. We would rent this again hands down!
The property was amazing. Location was a mile from heart of Gatlinburg. Paperwork leading up to check in could have been easier. I had to complete the paperwork 4 times. (ex) They gave you 8 lines for guest name's but they wanted every guest name so you had to put as many on one line as possible. That was not explained. The submit button was not working after each answer or signature. Not the home owners fault it was the reservation website's
This property was great. Had 40 family members from across the country ages 1-80. Super clean, well laid out. House was terrific. However, beware of the bears! First day it was kinda cool. After that they just disrupted things. They came by multiple times per day. We did not feed them and kept our trash locked up. Obviously they are accustomed to humans. Thank goodness the house was so perfect- the kids could not play outside without close supervision. House gets 5* but probly won't go back.
This Gatlinburg cabin is absolutely amazing. It was perfect for our weekend away with a large family. The listing photos are extremely accurate, and in my opinion, the cabin itself was even more beautiful and spacious in person. Check in was simple, and communication with the property management was excellent. I absolutely recommend this cabin, and will be considering Stony Brook cabin rentals in the future.
The house was amazing. It was well equipped with everything we could possibly need. We were a little bummed that the hot tub stopped working in the 2nd day we were there. After our 12mile hike we came home to find that the water was freezing.
We enjoyed seeing the bears in the evening
We will definitely be back!
We were a large group of ladies on a college alumni reunion. The house was amazing in every way, to even include the phone calls checking on us our first night to ensure we didn't need anything! Check in was super easy, and we had lots of options to explore Gatlinburg pre-arrival from the rental. However, we mostly just stayed in the house and enjoyed its many amenities. It was clean, very roomy, and we all agreed the kitchen was extremely well-stocked for a large group rental based on numerous past experiences. If we come back to Gatlinburg for our annual reunion we will come back here! **All the signs for bears were accurate - read the "what to do" and you will be fine.
