Nice stay

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall a nice stay. Had trouble with pool heat the first few days. Customer service was responsive but told me on my last call that my body was just going to have to adjust to the cold water. Maintenance did eventually fix heater. Several utensils were put away dirty also and overall it needs a deep clean.

Beautiful cabin in a great location

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This “cabin” was in a great location. Convenient to both Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg with beautiful views. The area is very quiet. We loved that it had both a pool and hot tub. The cabin still smells new and was nicely decorated. It’s very modern. All the windows made for a nice view, but may have contributed to it getting warmer than we liked in the cabin. The air never seemed to really cool it off, which made it slightly uncomfortable to sleep the last night. You could tell the builder rushed or doesn’t take pride in their work, with some of the quality of work. That made me feel bad for the owners.

Just why ?

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: While the house was very clean inside and beautiful. There was a “miscommunication “ about the pool. I even spoke to a person over the phone and then was sent a how to use guide for the pool. Upon arrival the pool was unusable. I was informed it was out of season. This was never expressed to me and why send me a how to use the safety measures if I can’t even get in it because it is “ out of season “. Although several other outdoor pools were open in the area. I paid for an amenity I could not use. While also being led to believe it was available. It’s been a week.. I’m still waiting on them to contact me about my complaint.

Very clean and Just right for a family of 4. Great kitchen and amenities. The garage doors in front do not offer much privacy and the parking is at a 10 degree slope, so a hassle getting in and out of your vehicle. Setting comfort in the main area needs to improve if you’re looking to watch movies as a family… Great communication with management and checkin and out a breeze!

Mountain Mermaid

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall a very good experience. Cabin was clean and well maintained. Location was convenient. Only detractors were the parking is at about a 30-40 degree angle and was not very handicap friendly. Stairs leading up to the porch had just one handrail also. This should probably be noted in the description for other handicap patrons to be aware of. We were able to make it work though. As aside note we saw bears every day we were there which was a neat experience.

Needs some work

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Access to the cabin via the nearly 20 degree slant (an estimate) of the driveway, small stepping stones and small stairway is cumbersome at best, hazardous at worst. The hotter was dirty with green algae buildup on the inside. The cabin was clean and fairly appointed we found the absence of a dinning table to be troublesome. The glass, double car garage doors were cute but leaked badly during a rain storm. The upstairs bedrooms are very warm and do not receive adequate AC to make sleeping comfortable. If you are uncomfortable driving twisty mountain roads don't rent this cabin.

Sept 10 - 15th

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The cabin was clean and in good condition. The only down fall was that you could not unpack the clothes. There was no drawers for clothes and the closet had no shelf and the rod was too close wall to hang clothes. It you don’t mind living out of your suitcase from the floor it works.

Roommate Plan

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Cute modern cabin. I would say the pool is small and the balcony and view is facing the front. Small gas grill. Also on the front. Had a lot of stink bugs that come through the garage cracks and in the windows. Definitely needs nee sheets and towels. Other than that, decent cabin. Would recommend for couple and their kids. Bigger tv.

Mountain Mermaid in July

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is a perfect little cabin for 2 couples, not great for little kids. It was very clean and it is a good location for visiting both Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, about one very curvy mile from main parkway. The pool is very small, but enjoyable. Improvements: There was no kitchen table, just bar seating. They were very skimpy on the concrete drive, it could be wider. Highlight: You may see bears, so be aware coming and going and don't feed them or leave food out.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Cabin was clean and nice Drive way was difficult to enter could not keep vehicle doors open without assistance from others. Suggest they make a flat cut out for parking area. A/C hot upstairs comfortable downBut stay was good. I’ll make sure I come at a different time in future, knew nothing about Fast & Furious car show until we got there. What a gridlock We’ll use Elk Springs again and a different cabin.

Beautifully Modern Home with Great Amenities

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The home was beautiful! Very modern and clean. Loved the huge kitchen, pool (albeit small), and hot tub. It was within 15 minutes of all the activity in town. My only complaint, which can’t be blamed on Elk Springs, was the LOUD noise coming from construction trucks passing by the home every 15 minutes for the entire day. Not a deal-breaker but just an annoyance. Otherwise we thoroughly enjoyed our visit and would gladly stay again.

Bear necessities

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: So on arrival to our rental property I was unloading the car and much to my surprise I walked out the door and I noticed a bear about 10 feet from me digging in the dirt I retreated back inside and he disappeared. The rental was nice especially the hot tub and pool area, it was a nice place and multiple encounters with the bears were unusual for us but kinda like a safari trip lol and we enjoyed ourselves. The only negative comment is that the driveway is at such an incline that it’s hard to walk up to the house as well as those few stepping stones in front the driveway should be a solid pad with a walkway poured concrete.
