We stayed 3 nights at the Little Bear Cottage for spring break. The cottage was the perfect size for a family of 5. Our kids loved playing in the creek and going in the hot tub. The cabin is close to town, we were able to walk to Ole Red’s with 3 kids. The cabin was clean and the kitchen was well stocked.
Great custom service !! Wonderful cottage , the location was great , just far enough away from town to be quiet but a walkable distance to downtown . The cottage was so cute , comfy beds and furniture and well stocked . We will definitely be staying here in the future .
Communication with property manager was good, addressed questions quickly. Was close enough to all the things we wanted to do but had enough space to spread out with two teenagers. Hot tub was a big benefit after long days of walking.
we had a great time in Gatlinburg with our family of 3 - perfect location & close to the strip, but not too close. also - close to some other great restaurants and things to do. the cabin was super clean & exactly as mentioned online. We had an issue with the hot tub the first night & texted the number and they got back with us right away to help us fix the issue.
Cottage is in an excellent location. Close to activities but still in a quiet neighborhood. Was a great place to relax and get away from everything. Cute little cottage, very clean. We had some trouble with the internet and they sent someone out to fix it and were very nice about it. Definitely recommend Little Bear Cottage and will stay again when in the area.
From the moment we walked into the place- exceptionally clean and comfortable! Was true to pictures. Amazing location. No problems at all! Would recommend 5/5. Plan to be back!
Management was very responsive to getting us another coffee pot, larger mugs & fixing door knob, all very quickly. They also texted us places to eat breakfast. Hot tub was nice to soothe muscles after lots of walking & hiking! Comfortable cottage (& nicely decorated) to stay for 5 nights (or more).
Our stay was great. However the sheets on the bed did have an oily smell to them, other than that everything was clean. The walk from the cottage down to Anakeesta is 15 minutes but the walk back up the hill is a little tough so wear the right shoes if you are booking to be within walking distance.
We have used these properties in the past, and this location is great for a short walk into Gatlinburg and easy to get on the road toward Pigeon Forge. The property was very clean and in good condition, and was very comfortable. The only complaint we had was that we did not realize there was no on-site washer/dryer, which we did not realize and thought strange for a condo/cottage of this size.. So that did make it difficult for a week stay with small children. Otherwise great place and experience!
The Little Bear Cottage was incredible! Very clean, more modern style, and perfect for a small family or two moms needing a getaway! You will not be disappointed! We even saw a bear taking a stroll!
Not only was the cottage beautiful- the communication with Red Door Getaways was phenomenal. Cynthia and her team made sure we were prepared for check in, checked in with us after our first night and provided recommendations for local restaurants and attractions. Check out was just as easy! I did not want to leave!
I highly recommend using them for your next trip! I know I will!!
This is a perfect house located very close to downtown area. The house looks brand new inside, pull out couch on the first floor with a bathroom. Two bedrooms/bathrooms upstairs. Didn't use the hot tub but looked clean. Very nice house.
Getting to the downtown area, there is a trolley pretty close but we never used it. Sidewalks most of the way and very well lit at night. Very safe to walk it every night. Its very close to Gatlinburg Brewing Company, excellent beer and pizza! On the street walking to the city area, you pass by a dumpster with no lock on it, we saw a bear inside there two of the nights. Be careful and have your phone ready. Go right at the Brewing Company and hitup Hillbilly golf, its the best.
This place is incredible!! From the location, to the cleanliness, the comfort and convenience, it’s nearly perfect. From the moment we walked in the doors, we could smell the “clean” in the air and on the surfaces. No stains on any furniture nor the carpets upstairs, no left over dirt or hair or grime from the people before us, clean sheets, clean towels, VERY clean bathrooms, clean everything. This is important to me when staying somewhere that’s shared with the public so this was simply the best part for me. The master bedroom was all we used, which was extremely comfortable. The master bath has a huge jet tub and really cool walk in shower. There’s also a tub shower in the second bedroom as well. The main living space is open and cozy, the technology in the house is easy to use and any information you need about the area is at your fingertips. The first night we were there a smoke detector battery started beeping. We were able to stop it and contacted the host who was VERY prompt in responding the next morning and offering a couple solutions for us. The outdoor space is so nice, the small stream in the back is calming and private and a lovely place to sit and just listen to nature. Speaking of nature, be careful! There’s a couple cheeky bears in the area who have NO fear and are very intelligent. So intelligent that they opened our van door and climbed in the vehicle! Keep all food in the house and lock doors! All in all, we would stay here again 100%!!
Wonderful stay!! The place was spacious for the 3 of us. The kitchen was well appointed. Love the brightness of the rooms, the quiet neighborhood and the proximity to the center (walkable). And a bear came by :)
We came up for a football event and have for years and this was by far the nicest place we've stayed. The price was great, its very convenient to get to the backroad or even walk to downtown Gatlinburg.
