The house itself was wonderful, very clean, beds were comfortable, the pool table was very nice. The view from the front yard looked amazing. It was a very short drive to the downtown area where there was plenty to do. Driving to the trails was also a relatively short drive! Would stay again.
Great living and sleeping space for teens and adults. The location was convenient to Rocky Top Sports World which was key for us. There were some cleaning details that could have used some attention and some items that would have been helpful in the kitchen (pot holders, more than one dish towel).
The cabin is very nice. Very relaxing and perfect for friends and family to gather. There was a lack of supplies for all of us. We had to call for linens and bags but most everything was in supply. The staff were always responsive and helpful if we needed anything
We liked the location of the cabin. It definitely has some wear and tear, but we still enjoyed it. The hot tub, fireplace, pool table and video games were a hit with the family. The covered front porch allowed us to still enjoy being outside when it rained. The fire pit area was great but we couldn't use it bc of the burn ban. I wish we would of had more kitchen towels and wash cloths as we were only given one of each. Otherwise the kitchen was stocked well for our group. We liked the location, outside of town but close enough to hiking and downtown that we could enjoy it all.
My wife and I got married in the Smokys October 14th and we stayed here the first few nights of our trip. Be sure you stop by the office in town to check in before driving out to the cabin, there are no remote check-ins. Not a huge deal but it is a 10-15 min drive back if you dont stop by first. The staff was super friendly and helpful, gave us tips and free parking passes for downtown! The cabin was great overall. Very clean and everything worked as it should. The hot tub on the deck was great and the electric fireplace was nice on cooler nights. The driveway is really steep which wasn't big deal this time of year at all, but could be difficult during the winter. We liked that the location was outside of town and away from traffic but, close enough to run back and forth if you needed something. You won't quite have the full mountaintop view, but you also don't have trek the long narrow roads up like some other cabins higher up either. Super nice after a long day of windy mountain roads and slow traffic in town. Just minutes away from several amazing places to eat, gas stations, a grocery store and more. We could hear the football games going on at the nearby high school as another review noted, but it didn't really bother us. Overall we really enjoyed the cabin and we would have no hesitation staying here again!
This was our first time using Vrbo as well as parkside rentals and everything went great. Cabin was just as described and the people at parkside cabins were extremely helpful and very friendly people. We will definitely be vacationing through them again.
Met our needs well. Check in was super simple. Had an issue with the fridge/freezer dripping water upon arrival. Called and had someone there in less than 30 minutes. House had a few areas of showing wear but it was fine. Its a cabin in the woods so it is to be expected.Great location just minutes outside of downtown Gatlinburg. Close access to the park for hiking. Loved the covered porch with hot tub and views. The firepit was lovely. Had a bear visit the property two days in a row. Would definitely stay here again.
Really nice cabin with an awesome view. Picked this cabin because it had a bedroom for one kid and bunks in the loft for the other two, along with the master for adults. So all kids had their own bed which is a win. Loved the fire pit outback with the rocking chairs and used the hot tub every night after long days. Beds were comfy and the bathrooms are huge. Best part was you’re 10 minutes from downtown Gatlinburg. Messaged host a couple times with quick questions and got very fast response! Be prepared for a very steep driveway but has plenty of flat parking up top. Would definitely stay again

Not what we expected, things didn’t work.
Overall kinda disappointed, hot tub didn’t work, nor did the fireplace or thermostat. Also thought it would have more of a Mountain View.
Needed a little updating, but overall a great fit for two parents and two college kids on spring break. The Keurig didn't work our 1st morning but it was replaced by the office. The exhaust fans in the bathroom needs cleaned. It was making a noise so we didn't use it.
We enjoyed this beautiful, clean cabin. The fire pit, deck and porch gave us ample space for enjoying the excellent late summer weather. The property manager was super-responsive to any questions or concerns! Loved the wood furniture made from tree limbs! Easy drive to grocery and downtown. A few things that I wish I had known:Area Noise- cabin is very close to Gatlinburg High School. The sound of the band and soccer matches were great but some folks might not like that- Neighbor cabin has 3 big dogs that bark loudly at 4am and whenever they were outside. My sisters love dogs - me not so much.View - the honey suckle between the cabins really needs to be trimmed. The mountain is visible but only from the right side of porch. Our best view was from the hot tub. Pool table was not really usable. Not enough space on 2 sides to make a shot.
My husband, son, and I had a wonderful time here on our first trip to Tennessee. The cabin was near countless hiking trails, creeks, and entrances to Great Smoky Mountains National Park but far enough away from downtown Gatlinburg to be quiet, private, and relaxing. It's on a drive that feels more like a court: No through traffic and just four neighbors. Ideal location, gorgeous construction, excellent natural light, a front and back patio, the fire pit rocked, and the cabin smelled wonderful. The kitchen appliances were updated and the light fixtures and decorations were tasteful. Bed linens and towels were of good quality. The ONLY letdown was that the cabin really needed to be dusted, swept, and mopped. There were cobwebs, dust bunnies, someone's hair, and lots of dead bugs that were totally dried out, indicating they'd been there quite awhile. I dusted off my feet before getting into bed as the bottom of my feet were gray due to the dusty floors. All other surfaces, the towels, and the sheets were quite clean. The cabin was still very pleasant to occupy but it's disappointing to pay a cleaning fee and find the cabin was not truly cleaned prior to our arrival. I attached photos to help show how to improve.Even so -- we would happily stay here again! We made many wonderful memories and had an absolute blast. This cabin was a joy to return to after exploring one of the most stunningly beautiful places I've ever been. But I insist on a thorough cleaning next time!

Overall good stay but some items not as presented
My husband & I rented this cabin for an anniversary get-a-way. Overall, we enjoyed the cabin & its location. The view was great & the king bed on the main level was very comfortable. The cabin is just far enough outside of Gatlinburg & an easy walk to the free trolly service. A note about the location, it is close to a High School, so you will hear the cheers from their sporting events. Now, the issues with the cabin. We rented this cabin specifically for the hottub, pool table & the TV on the front porch. We enjoy setting outside, watching the news & drinking coffee. On the day of our arrival the TV was not usable. No cable connection & with the bright turned all the way up, you could not see the screen. We reported this to Parkside Rentals immediately. They were quick to respond, this time, & got the cable on, notated how dim the screen was & requisitioned for a new TV. Two days later, the cable box was out again & the TV was still dim. I called again to check on the status of the TV and to report that most hottub jets do not work. They said they would send someone out but I don't believe they ever did. We realize the owner has to agree replace the TV and make repairs, however a phone call letting us know the owners weren't fixing anything would have been nice. Lastly, the pool table. The felt is in terrible shape, worn & stained. Also, the bunks in the loft w/the pool table, made it impossible to take a shot from either end. Keep these things in mind when renting this cabin
