Great location and home

We were in town for a volleyball tournament and location was so close to sports complex and downtown. Easy to find, super clean, comfortable and Jersey pizzeria was delish and right down the street. Great stay!

Great location and property

We had a great stay here! The location was extremely ideal and easy to get to. We had plenty of room for 7 adults and the host was extremely helpful and responsive prior to and during our stay.

Great Family Cabin

Nice cabin

Overall very pleasant for a family group. Bedrooms are comfortable and there's plenty of "hanging out" space for a visiting. Kitchen is a little small but fine for a short visit.

Perfect family getaway

The property was great. Everything was as described. Perfect location if you want to hike a lot. Grocery store super close. The property isn't downtown which for me is a big plus but it's also close enough to drive there quickly if needed.

A great friends cabin weekend!

We were looking for a comfy space that had both comfort and space for a good time - this place was great! Plenty of space, awesome hot tub, stocked kitchen and comfy beds. This was perfect for our weekend getaway!

Honey Bear Hideaway - Gatlinburg, TN

Family of five had a great time at the Honey Bear Hideaway. Plenty of room and deck space for all. Conveniently located to downtown and a quick drive to Dollywood.

Wonderful home away from home.

We had a great time here. Downstairs had a master br and room with bunks and a living room space which worked great when the you ger generation needed space from the Grands. Mamma bear and her 2 cubs were quite the treat...twice.

Christmas 2023 in Gatlinburg

Cabin was Great!! The inside was decorated for Christmas and we had a great time!! Inside was very nice and looked beautiful with all the wood !! Very spacious and kid friendly!!! We will definitely be staying again!!

Great for family gathering!

Perfect place for family to gather and celebrate Thanksgiving! Very roomy with great balconies. Host was so helpful. The cabin is located close enough to town that we didn’t have to drive far to enjoy downtown Gatlinburg, Ober Mountain, and local hiking trails. Would definitely stay here again!

Great Place for our Family

We had a great stay! We were far enough from town to enjoy the beautiful wildlife but close enough to get wherever we wanted in a manner of minutes. The home was beautiful and worked really well for our family of 7. We were really excited to find the home decorated for Christmas so we could take some nice family photos. Great stay and we would stay again.

Excellent Cabin

The cleanliness of the cabin was exceptional. The cabin is absolutely beautiful. We had enough room for everyone in my family, accurate to size. Excellent location and not too far up the mountain. The views are magnificent. I will definitely rent again.

Perfect family retreat

Perfect cabin for family with teens. Adults upstairs and teen domain downstairs. Very clean. Very convenient to rocky Top Sports World. Everything you need for an enjoyable stay. Would recommend and would stay again.

Family fun in the Smokey’s Mtns.

We found the home to be perfect for a family trip. Very clean, plenty of room for all. Spacious multiple decks with tables and rocking chairs for relaxing. Nice sized hot tub. We loved the large wooden kitchen table to spend time together. The host host provided excellent communication. Extremely timely we recommend staying here.

It was like the pictures. Beds are very comfy. Comes with kitchen ware and in the middle of Sevierville and downtown gatlinberg which was a good location if you don’t want to be too far up

Great private and wooded cabin

We greatly enjoyed our vacation staying at this cabin. With 2 separate living spaces, huge decks, plentiful indoor and outdoor seating, a hot tub and foosball table, large comfortable beds, etc. there was something for everyone. Also, a local black bear to observe! The host had great communication and check in was easy. We would definitely stay here again.

Bear Cabin

We loved our visit to Honey Bear Hideaway. The house is very spacious and comfortable. The hosts are very helpful and responsive. The home is located close to Gatlinburg strip. We enjoyed playing cards and exploring Gatlinburg and Pigeon forge. La Conte Tappas is a must try. We will be back!

Last minute Trip

Cabin was great. As pictured. The kids loved having the bottom floor all to themselves. The steps to the bottom floor are a little steep, so keep that in mind for elderly guests. You won't be far from Gatlinburg, just a few minute ride down the mountain. We would stay again on our next trip to Gatlinburg.

Short Family Vacation

The place is very cozy. Everything is up to date & clean. The beds were comfortable! A baby gate for the stairs would be great for family's with little ones. AC & heat work great. The host was very responsive every time I messaged with any questions. Washer & dryer worked great. The decks are beautiful! Check in and check out was very simple. We never had to deal with anyone in person. Great stay! Definitely recommend.

Nice getaway

We chose this home for our family to stay in despite reviews. This home was actually in very good shape. The only downsides were the hot tub barely worked and one of the shower-heads in the bathrooms, shot water everywhere. Other than these two things, the home is completely off the beaten path. The area is very quiet with fantastic views.

Nice place for the money

The place is well kept. Its an older cabin but it’s kept up. Hot tub was nice. Decks are in great shape. Plenty of room for big families. BUT Lock your car doors! Bear got in our van to eat Dollywood popcorn. No real car damage but also ate a snack in my wife’s coat pocket that was left in van. The coat was shredded! Glad she wasn’t in it!!

Good, but not so good.

We arrive and the first impression is NOT good. The steps that lead up on the porch are busted and supported by a brick. We start a walk through and realize the cabin is not near as big as it looks on line. There is not a grill on the deck which is shown in the pictures. Kitchen /living room very small for 6 people. Shower handle was broken in one shower up stairs. Also the floor had not been mopped through out. Mold in downstairs shower. Holes in ceiling tiles. Cobwebs hanging , washer needed a good cleaning. The highlight of the stay; we were visited by a good size bear and we were close to downtown Gatlinburg. Also, only certain tvs worked. Like i said earlier, would not stay here a second time.

Family Vacation

Me and my family of 6 had a really great time here. The cabin was large enough for more than 6, so we all had plenty of room. It had a really pretty view of the forest/greenery and was a decent distance to pigeon forge and Gatlinburg. On our way, (we drove from Texas) we still hadn’t received a message or call from anyone regarding the check in process. I called and left. Few voicemails. It wasn’t until about 20 minutes before we arrived at the cabin someone called me back with a code to get into the cabin. It was just a little stressful. When we arrived the cleaning lady was still cleaning. There was trash all over the driveway. (She said previous guests didn’t use bear trash cans) But the inside was decent for them most part. There were 3 full bathrooms but the shower in our room had a handle that would fall off so we didn’t use that one. The hot tub was really nice and we used it daily. I cooked dinner almost every night. The pots and pans were pretty dirty. So I had to clean them really well before using them. My husband was able to figure out the tv upstairs and had no problem with it. I read the book as well and saw many negative reviews. I thought that the cabin needed a few fixings, but nothing to leave such bad reviews for. Yes the dryer was loud, but it worked. And if you closed the wooded doors you couldn’t hear it as much. Overall, my family and I had an amazing time in Tennessee. My kids age from 15-6 all want to go back to the same cabin again. So it’s a win!
