March madness in Gatlinburg

Had a great stay in Gatlinburg. Rental was perfect for our group of four adult Fishermen / college basketball fans (with tons of room to spare). Beds were compfortable after long days hiking and on the water. Short drive to town (walked into town as well). We fished down town in stocked section and in “wild trout” waters.Would definitely rent this property again!

The cabin was perfect!!

Birthday celebration

This propery was wonderful. We had a group of 8 to celebrate my wife's birthday. The house was perfect for our group and had everything we needed. There was plenty of room for us. Everyone had a great time and we definitely reccomend staying here.

Loved it!

Our family stayed here with several adults and children. We were so conveniently located to everything from downtown to hiking. It was super clean, open, quiet, and the communication was great. We would 100% stay here again!

Wonderful experience

Loved the cabin and our time in Gatlinburg. The cabin is very close to all activities and you’re guaranteed to see bears! The host and maintenance were extremely responsive and helpful. 10/10

Magical stay in the Smokies

From the bears wandering the neighborhood on a daily basis, to the floorplan of the house we couldn't have asked for a better trip. The kids loved the games downstairs, we loved coffee on the balconies waiting for the bears to walk by. Close to everything we wanted. Only notes were the bunk beds we a little unstable and the higher mattress height made me nervous on the top with lack of guard area. Would definitely rebook this hom though.

Bears Gathering was great!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Bears Gathering was the perfect place for a spring break trip with 9 teen girls and 3 moms. The cabin itself was just right for us. The teens took the bottom level and the moms took the top. The starter dish washing pods, laundry pods, soap, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, paper towels, toilet paper, and garage bags were a nice touch. The kitchen had plenty of utensils and cookware. The beds were comfortable. The porch was perfect. The whole place was clean.I received emails and updates before and during the trip. Everything was communicated clearly. The location was great for us. It was just out of the way enough to give it a different vibe from a hotel downtown, but close enough to get groceries easily and get to the main strip on five minutes. I also liked to neighborhood. I was glad to have neighbors instead of being completely secluded. We loved our stay.

Had a BLAST!!!!

Thank you Matt and April for sharing your beautiful home with my family! We were greeted in true mountain fashion by a family of friendly bears passing through the back area. My kiddos loved this! The cabin was beautiful and had all the necessary (and extra) items to feel right at home. I loved having my very own Alexa entertain us as we cooked together in the huge kitchen area! An issue with a missing griddle power cord was corrected almost immediately by a simple text message! Thanks for the quick response! The options for entertainment were vast with a great pinball machine with tons of games, a pool table, an air hockey table, and a huge theater room with cozy chairs. Only one issue......we had to leave and come home!!!! LOL!! Thank you again for a WONDERFUL FAMILY VACATION!! Phoebe

Overall solid rental, close to gatlinburg

Overall, the house was as advertised and in good condition. There is TONS of space. It is close to Gatlinburg proper, and everything worked. Cleanliness of kitchen, bathrooms, and common areas was excellent. We found the kitchen to be very well stocked. It’s essentially in a subdivision, so I wouldn’t recommend it if you’re looking for something truly private or secluded, but that was the only “con” in terms of location. The movie theater doesn’t have any streaming devices other than an internet connected DVD player. However, it doesn’t support Disney, Apple TV, HBO max, YouTubeTV, etc. You need a physical DVD, or are limited to Netflix, YouTube, or Amazon Prime. Oddly, the theater had physical remotes for a Roku and an Amazon Fire stick, but neither of these devices was present. Having a washer/dryer in the house was very convenient. However, the inside of the washing machine is overdue for cleaning with a fair amount of mildew present. We had the good fortune of experiencing a short power outage during our stay. The management company was very helpful and told us where to find an emergency kit that contained a flashlight. However, no flashlight was present in the kit, but it did contain lots of spare batteries!Overall, our stay was great, and I wouldn’t hesitate to return. The little details I commented on are simply small things that represent opportunities for the hosts and management company to improve upon to make it even better for future guests!

Weekend with Family

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Weekend getaway for Mom/Dad with 3 adult children and families-12 total (64yr old - 4yr old). Four bedrooms with king beds for all adults and 5th bedroom with set full bunk beds and set single bunk beds for teenage girls to have their own bedroom and full bathroom. Layout was great! Just note if you are wanting to put younger kids in bunk room--it is on bottom floor with game room--no adult room on that floor. Also, is on ground level floor where you go out to hot tub and firepit. There is a childproof lock on the door to outside which is good. One bedroom on main floor and 3 on top floor. Wasn't a problem for us--all the younger kids slept upstairs with parents, so they didn't have to go up 2 flights of stairs at night for anything. Entire cabin clean and everything worked great. Enjoyed the theater room! Can watch movies on any online account with your login. Kids loved the air hockey while adults enjoyed the pool table. The hot tub was warm and used during the snowy night at 20 degrees. We did not use the firepit, but there was a starter pack of wood there had we wanted to. The kitchen had lots of space in pantry and cabinets to put all your supplies. We cooked breakfast every morning-kitchen well stocked with plates, cups, cookware and silverware. Table was large and could seat all 12 of us! Living room does only seat 6--would be nice to have couple extra seats. We brought in the 3 bar seats from kitchen to help. Only seating on the bottom floor with game room is 8 theater seats in the theater room. Also, no tv in game room--can't watch sports while you play pool-lol! I would highly recommend this rental and the Bear Tracts site. The app was amazing with all the extra information about everything at the cabin and in the area. We ate at Joe and Pops sandwich shop the first night before getting our groceries at Food city. All less than 2 miles away!! The highlight of our trip was 6 inches of snow Saturday-Monday morning. Was beautiful!

Reviewer Comments: Two major issues I had was the movie room surround sound was not working properly and when I notified them the first time, they sent use instruction instead of offering to come and fix it. After second call they sent someone to fix the problem. The other thing was there was a broken beer bottle in the parking area and some trash in the back yard that had been there for a while. I personal picked up the trash in the back yard near the fire pit, they did come and clean up the bottle after calling them. Overall, it was a decent experience but was not its best. Probably would try them again.

family vacation in the mountains

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had the best time at our vacation rental! The property was clean and well maintained as described. There were 12 of us, and there was plenty of room for everyone. The property was only about a 5 min drive from downtown where there was a lot to do! I will say it would have been nice to have the hot tub off of the ground level, like some other rentals in the complex. We looked forward to it, but didn't get much use out of it because there were a lot of bears, hence the name Bears Gathering I suppose! Lol. We saw our first within 10 minutes of being there while we were unloading the cars. All in all we prob saw them about 20 times throughout our stay. I'm told that isn't the norm, but we actually enjoyed seeing them... from a distance of course!Overall, if we decided to come back to the Smokey Mountains, we would definitely rent with Bear Tracts again!

Beautiful scenery and even a couple ‘big furry visitors’ 🐻 stopping by. Very open, comfortable, very clean. The property managers were very professional and accessible. We would recommend to future guests.

Where the bears gather ♥️

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great time in Gatlinburg. Our cabin was close to everything we wanted to do yet private enough to enjoy our own space. Our party was 8 adults and 4 children. The kids stayed in the bunks downstairs in the game room. (Ages 6,6,5 & 3) and had a blast. Each adult couple had their own room with a king size bed and their own personal bathroom. And the ladies and children enjoyed the hot tub every evening. It was great! We done a Walmart pickup and set it for our arrival time and stopped by and brought groceries in with us. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to cook with and then some. Our next to the last day we had a visitor. A black mama bear and her two cubs. Momma bear wandered all around our property and rested against my car then went on to her babies across the parking lot. We all watched from balcony to balcony. It was cool to see up close. I recommend this stay for anyone. We were within minutes of downtown Gatlinburg and not far from Pigeon Forge.
