View, View, View! This condo has the best mountain views!!
We are located in the mountains above downtown Gatlinburg. 3 miles up. The complex has 5 buildings. This unit is in building 4 on the second floor with the best direct mountain views from every room. Large Balcony with the best view in the complex! There is a Queen Master Bedroom with bath and a second bedroom with twin beds and bath. In the living room, there is a nice sofa and large screen TV. The condo has a very nice electric fireplace for your enjoyment. You will love the view and could see a bear or two around the complex. We hope you can come and build memories in the Great Smokey Mountains.
First and foremost, this condo is immaculately clean. It is a very pleasant place to stay. With two separate bedrooms, both with full baths, there is plenty of privacy if traveling with other families or friends. Nicely stocked kitchen. You’ll love the fireplace which has a remote control start. Nice flat screen TV in two rooms and a reg TV in twin room. The scenery is awesome and the grounds are well kept. There is a gas grill and picnic table just steps from the door. Nice laundry room on same floor located in the middle (bring quarters). It is a very scenic drive going up and down the mountain too.
Recommended for: Adventure seekers, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with teenagers, families with young children, romantic getaway.

Beautiful Mountain Property

An awesome view of the smokies and some of Gatlinburg. During the winter you can see Ober Mountain to see how the slopes are that day too! Easy directions and check in/checout. Just make sure to be prepared for driving up windy narrow mountain roads up to the property.

Mountain Chalet

The unit was as expected. Great location on top of mountain with great view. We saw bears from the deck. Enough room for the 4 people visiting. All neighbors were friendly. Do not leave food in the car.

50th birthday

I celebrated my 50th birthday in Gatlinburg with friends. The condo was well kept and clean and the beds were comfortable. The place had everything we needed. The views are amazing. We saw a couple bears. One got into the dumpster and the broken dumpster was replaced the next day. We are hoping to return for a full week next year in the fall.

Beautiful view

A beautiful mountain top, relaxing stay. We were used to mountain driving so the drive up was not too bad- beautiful- met a few bears on the road which was super neat. The condo was very clean and comfortable. The owner had everything we needed to have a nice stay. Had one small hiccup with AC but she picked up phone right away and it was straight in under and hour. It is a drive to get to things- but worth it for the peace and beautiful mountains views!!

"Only the best" (from Pretty Woman)

This property was at the top of the hill. The drive was a little nerve-wracking on some turns but the end was worth it. Condo was clean and had a great open layout with kitchen bar. Decor was dated in rooms but that doesn't bother me. We enjoyed the view and company of each other. It was quiet and peaceful. We visited Ober Mountain since we already at top of hill and cabled down to Gatlinburg by aerial tram. Gameroom small but great foosball table. We had a great time.

Go for the view

The condo is spacious and comfortable. It is older decor and we had a few minor maintenance items like lightbulbs burned out and a hand can opener that wouldn’t work but nothing to deter our enjoyment of the location. The property manager is very responsive. It is about 15 minutes up the mountain from town and a bit windy and steep but not too bad. We didn’t drive it at night though. The view is absolutely awesome! Sunrise is spectacular.

Nice Weekend Get-away

Our stay at Chalet Village was perfect! The view from the condo was absolutely beautiful! The condo itself was nice and clean and spacious enough for 4 adults. The decor is a little outdated, but who cares, it was still nice. Also, I read other reviews about the treacherous hike up and down the mountain…to anyone who may freak out about this, It is not that bad! Trust me! Just follow the directions given to you and you will be fine. That’s the “easy” way and it’s a two lane road up and down, but you must follow those directions and not GPS! I would definitely stay here again.

View from top of the world

The condo was very clean and well kept. Half of the vertical blinds were missing so I had to hang a blanket up to keep the Sun from waking me early. The ice maker didn’t work so I had to buy ice every night and the tv would not come on in the living room. If these don’t bother you then the condo is perfect. We saw bears from our balcony and going down the mountain two different times there was a bear in the road. The condo was at the very end of the road up in the mountains. I enjoyed it for this one time but I prefer staying downtown or at least closer to downtown.

Loved the chalet and the scenary, not the drive up the mountain.

The chalet was clean and looked like the pictures on VRBO. It did need an upgrade on some things, such as the microwave, but everything worked, except the TVs. The TV problem turned out to be cable personnel had not changed out the cable box before we arrived. That was fixed in one day by the Property Manger, Jennifer. We had a beautiful view from the rear windows and balcony. Any had a black bear take a walk across the lawn in front of our balcony. We got some great pictures. The chalet was on high up on mountain and my car did not like the climb or the heavy use of brakes on the way down as mountain was steep and very curvy. Meet yourself type of curves. The mountain travel was the only thing we did not like and will keep us from returning for another stay.
