The camper in the mountains never fails. We have stayed a few times now and really enjoyed our stay. We loved sitting by the stream and cooked hot dogs by the fire. We plan to be back soon!
My eleven year old daughter and I had a great stay and Jason was very responsive to our questions. The campground is very friendly and my daughter and I were very comfortable there.
The campgrounds are very well kept, they were even wrapping the trees around the main entrance sign with Christmas lights for the Holiday season. The camper itself was entirely what we were looking for as far as the setup, with the fireplace in the living room, kitchen at the front of the camper. Very spacious with the slide outs. Internet signal was awesome. My husband and I described it as "The Cuteness". Positioned perfectly by the sounds of the whispering waters of the creek behind it. We had such a fun time cooking in the camper, relaxing in front of the fireplace, reclined in the recliners, watching Christmas movies...perfect little getaway for the season! We'll definitely come back to visit, with "The Cuteness"!! :D
This is the first time I considered staying in a RV for a vacation trip. I usually stay in a condo in Florida. I wanted to see if when I retire I could stay in a RV somewhere for a month or two. This property was fantastic and exceeded my expectations. The location was perfect and I was amazed at how much room I had. It was just me that stayed but the size of the rooms and especially the size of the shower was great. I will go back and stay here again sometime soon. My favorite feature was the water flowing through the creek just outside my bedroom window. I had one issue that I reached out to Jason about and he took care of it right away. I also had a few questions before my trip and he got back to me right away.
Thanks again for Jason being such a great host.
It was very clean beautiful spot wonderful site easy instructions how to get checked in and even to get checked out very simple. Check out would absolutely stay again and take the family loved it.!!!
We enjoyed the trailer and the location. The pool was area was great and while walking around everyone we encountered was friendly. Some of the time we sat outside at the creek and just relaxed to the sound of the creek just feet away.
We have stayed on this property before in the previous unit. This one is larger and has two bedrooms. Great location. Some minor technical hiccups but overall a good stay.
Creekside oasis with birds chirping and views of green trees. Away from the bustle of Gatlinburg but close enough to check it out. The host's were super communicative and very accommodating
Relaxing creek-side stay in a friendly and quite gated community within 10 miles of Gatlinburg. Camper was very clean with all the essentials such as cutlery and bath towels. We took advantage of the cafe onsite for breakfast. Great prices and delicious. Almost daily activities. There was a small car show and bake sale when we visited. Fed the creek gold fish their favorite: biscuits. Bonus was renting the owner’s golf cart. We had a blast looking at all the homes and their decor. Hope to stay again.
This is my 3rd or 4th time staying at the Thomason camper. Everytime has been a great experience, including this time. I brought my 15 year old grandson for a long weekend. The camper was super clean and perfect for us. He really enjoyed the golf cart. The camper is well stocked with everything you need except food. We will be back, again!!! Thanks Jason and Amy!!

When we arrived we realized that this was a completely different RV than what was advertised. The owner did reach out and offer a refund if we wanted to stay somewhere else. We did stay, the RV could use some TLC but it worked for what we needed.
This RV offers all you need to enjoy the Smokies. This is a beautiful clean park and everyone we met was friendly and helpful. The host was always available and was quick to respond. I would suggest you READ the book provided as I asked questions that were answered in that book. The host was friendly and polite even though he could have been easily annoyed. LOL I would definitely stay again! The campground is located just far enough to be away from the hustle and bustle and it is quiet. The ride in either location will take you to everything you need.
We’ve been visiting the area for 30 years. This was our first time renting a camper. Overall, I would do it again. I was somewhat disappointed to find out on our way there that the camper we rented had been switched with a different camper. The replacement was nice. Very roomy, and very clean. However, I think I would’ve preferred the one we actually reserved. Finding out a few hours before check-in didn’t give me any options. The furniture is new and very nice. Mattress was comfy but bedding is lightweight & thin. A book with instructions and/or info would be helpful. Especially for non-campers. Host was responsive to every question. The campground was clean & quiet, but seemed more like a community than a “campground”. So if you’re looking for the campground experience, this may not be it. This location by the creek tho, is worth the trip. Very relaxing! And if you are a non-camper & not aware, don’t expect long, hot showers. No regrets and would do it over again.
Never stayed in an RV before, so we thought we'd try it. Before booking, we had asked about the coffee pot & whether it was a drip or keurig. We were told it was both. As per usual, we brought our own coffee, creamer, & sweetner to use, but we have never been anywhere else when the host did not furnish coffee filters for their own coffee pot. Jason & Amy acted like we were asking for them to supply us with gold. They were extremely defensive when we were talking to them about this. Any decent hosts we've stayed with before furnished coffee filters...usually coffee & creamer too, but not them!!! There were also no outside lights at all. They said there was probably a bulb out, but no one ever came out to replace it while we were there, so it was completely dark every night after my headlights went off. I even fell from the steps & injured my knee because I could not see. If there had been a bear out there at that time, I would be dead, because there is no way I would have seen it first. A host should care enough about their guests that they furnish necessary things & make them feel safe. They simply failed.
I stayed here for a week and it was well stocked! I had a couple of grandchildren stay with me one night. I wish the pull out sofa had a mattress! Other than that this place was amazing!!
