Family and I had a wonderful time at this lovely cabin! Perfect for a family of 10 and Dan (our host) could not have been more accommodating!! Location was fantastic! Bedrooms, hot tub, fire place made for a wonderful stay! Thanks Dan
Very nice 5 bedroom cabin. Large open kitchen an great room. The hot tub was a big hit. I'm sure there was a family of black bears living close by. Saw them every day
Id love to tell you all the amazing amenities but they are listed in the online listing. We had a wonderful stay, everything was as promised. Our host was responsive and kind. We will likely be finding a way to make it back to Gatlinburg and stay at one of this hosts locations.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, and we hated to leave! The home is beautiful, and it gave us plenty of space in terms of bedrooms but also enough privacy, as well as easy access to the gathering areas, such as the game room and the kitchen! The location was just what we wanted as well, with great views of the mountains and proximity to both Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, allowing us to make so many tourist stops throughout our trip!
We loved it, beautiful house, amazing views from the balconies. A few things could had been cleaned better but nothing to knock a star off of.
Close to downtown gatlinburg, seen bears!
Plenty of room and privacy with each of five bedrooms having their own attached bathrooms. If you plan on eating in, bring your own cookware, bakeware, and utensils as the kitchen is poorly stocked. Beautiful view from balconies.
We had a very good time. House was big enough to give us all our own space when wanted. The main level stayed comfortable but the top and bottom floors were a lot warmer than the main level. The bottom floor was extremely warm.
The cabin was beautiful and looked exactly like the online photos. It was exactly what we were looking for! It was a family vacation to celebrate my in-laws 50th anniversary. We were able to all spend time together, at the cabin, along with adventures downtown and into the park for hiking. We had so much fun!!!
We recently stayed with our four adult children and their significant others. The cabin is in a great location to access both Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. Rooms are spacious and all of them have their own bathrooms. There were some issues when we first got their due to whoever had stayed there before us, but Dan and Jenna took care of everything right away and were great hosts. I would definitely recommend staying here!
Porch with Coffee in the morning; Hot Tub in the afternoon
The place is as described in the photos with amazing views and clean throughout the house. Quite close to all the National Park has to offer. While the drive to the house is mountainous, the road is well maintained and the other drivers were courteous. A storm knocked out the cable but our host was so responsive in dealing with the cable company as well as any little question we had.
The reason I didn't give overall 5 star rating was because there wasn't adequate supply of bathroom tissue rolls, kitchen tissue rolls, soaps, shampoo and kitchen dishwasing detergent.
Otherwise we enjoyed the stay. Beautiful location with spectacular view from every bedroom.
Multi-generational family vacation. This was the perfect home. There were 11 of us and we had plenty of room to spread out comfortably. And the views were amazing! Beautiful setting! Gave 4 stars for cleanliness due to dirty floors (our feet turned black walking on the floors) and litter on the property. But otherwise definitely a 5 star stay! And the owners were very receptive with very timely responses.
The house is new and beautiful!! Arrived to a spotless house. Awesome views of mountains from all decks. All bedrooms are very large. Bunkbed room perfect for kids. Short drives to both Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. Asked host a few questions while there and received a response within minutes. Even watched a Mom bear and her 3 cubs while packing up to leave
This property was absolutely stunning! We had 6 adults and 2 teenagers. This house was perfect! Everyoje had their own bedroom with bathroom which was so amazing. The views were stunning! Even got to see a bear ❤️ we were still close enough to town that if we needed anything it was a short drive yet still far enough from town to feel like we were up in the mountains away from all the hustle and bustle! We will definitely be back! The house couldnt have been more perfect !
Bears do know how to open car doors! We experienced one of our cars being broken into because it wasn't locked. No damage, just paw prints and an empty bottle of Mentos! The property is great for a family.
Our family had an amazing vacation at this property!
The description, check-in process, and cleanliness were as described. The views from the balconies are breathtaking and we even saw a few bears in the evening!
A few things to note:
Each bathroom has only two bath towels, more are needed for a long stay.
The kitchen has a great set-up for cooking, however, larger pots, a can opener and hand towels would be nice for those who love to cook.
The drive up the mountain to the cabin is definitely one to be prepared for; not many street lights to see at night on the winding roads.
Overall the property is beautiful and I absolutely recommend to any family looking for a Gatlinburg, mountain vacation!
overall accommodations was perfect inside the cabin, however the cleanliness around the property needs to be delt with. It was an eye sore. Also, there was a septic leak and it smelled horrible. So we really could not enjoy our balcony rooms. That was my only issue. Inside was clean and just like the picture described.
This property was an outstanding place to celebrate Thanksgiving and our 50th wedding anniversary with our family. The cabin is super spacious. Each of the four adult couples had their own private bedroom and the children had their own large bunkbed room. Each bedroom had a private bathroom, and each bedroom had individual access to one of the outside balconies where we could sit with our morning coffee and enjoy the awesome mountain views and Fall leaves. It was the only cabin I found during my search that had 5 bedrooms, with each having a private bathroom. Also, there was plenty of room throughout the cabin, with a game room, balconies, living room and kitchen, giving our family lots areas to hang out. The kitchen table accommodated all 12 of us and the kitchen had ample space to prepare our meals. This cabin was the perfect place for my family to make memories of a special occasion.
Exactly as described. Nice to have 5 bedrooms with bathroom attached. Would have been nice to have a half bath on the main level so you didn't have to go up or down or go through the main floor bedroom.
Overall it was clean except some stuff we found on the counter, splashes on the cabinets in the kitchen and toothpaste on the wall in the bathroom.
Also, the floors are not cleaned sufficiently so make sure to have slippers or flipflops to wear inside or your socks or feet will be black with dirt. The inside windows could have been wiped down as well since there were hand prints all over them. Had planned on grilling while we were there but the grill was filthy and there was nothing provided to clean the grill. Also, no bath mats (except for one bathroom) and had to ask for more towels.
Be sure to purchase plenty of toilet paper, paper towels, Kleenex and anything you may need in the kitchen like foil or saran wrap. We also had to buy more trash bags as we ran out about three days in.
Beds were very comfy. Saw bears every day that we were up there. Great location! Close to everything we wanted to do. Beautiful view from deck. It is quite a ride up the mountain, so be prepared. And the driveway does fit three cars, but one side is super steep so just be careful. Our AWD vehicle routinely slid down that side of the driveway.
This house/cabin was the ideal place for our family vacation. It met all our needs. We had a few problems that Dan(our host) tried to resolve ASAP. The previous guests apparently changed the settings on the thermostat which caused the A/C to freeze up. That caused leaking of water to drip from the ceiling in the downstairs bedroom with the bunk bed. The top bunk was wet and not usable for the first night. Water continued to drip a little the next day. Dan sent his HVAC guy to resolve the problem. The gas grill was broken and not fixable so he sent someone to bring a brand new one in time for our planned cookout for our family birthday celebration. Then we had a huge storm with high winds that blew the hot tub cover down the mountain and on to the opposite side of the house. The cover was never retrieved during our stay so we weren’t able to use the hot tub (this happened on our 2nd day there. The house was overall clean except the floors. My grandkids walked & ran around in their socks and bare feet in the house. Their feet & socks were black with dirt. It would be a good idea to have the cleaner/cleaning crew to damp mop the floors. Dan, our host was very receptive to our needs. We kept in touch via phone calls and texts.
The big plus to this house was the incredible views of the mountains!
