Couldn’t have been better

The drive up was scary but once you’re up, it’s amazing! The host was amazing & quick to respond. My kids are still talking about this place! Absolutely recommend!!

We loved our stay at Just Chillin’. Everything was exactly as presented. We loved waking up to the beautiful sunrises from the top of the mountain. We can’t wait for another return trip!

Amazing!

If I could give more stars I definitely would. This cabin is perfect for a family getaway. There were 6 of us all together and we had plenty of room. There is a very cozy, welcoming vibe to the place. Very clean and comfortable. We had bear visitors every night as well! Will stay here again and highly recommend!

Christmas Getaway

We wanted a place were we could enjoy our family and still visit Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. Wonderful time traffic for Ober was a little backed up but that is expected during Christmas time, other ways off the mountain to avoid traffic. Hostess was very helpful and the communication was fabulous. Would definately stay again.

All around great experience

The property was very clean and included everything we needed to get settled in upon arrival. Plenty of room for all 7 of us to relax and enjoy our time. Many board games are kept at the cabin which we used nearly every night. The hot tub and gas firepit are amazing. The host was extremely responsive when we had questions. We would definitely stay here again! We've stayed all around the Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg areas over the years and this was one of the best! Thank you so much for your part in making great annual family vacation memories!

Peaceful Getaway

Wonderful cabin … The view was beautiful but the road up was not for the faint of heart. Enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit. Had a nice yard for my dog.Didn’t get to see any bears and hoping we would. Was able to visit with my sister and brother in law and have some quality time together. Thank you Kate for sharing your beautiful cabin with us.

We had an relaxing and entertaining stay.

This was our second stay at Just Chillin' and was looking forward to returning to a home away from home. Kate was very helpful and responded very quickly with information and the staff had everything ready when we arrived. The cabin is beautiful and enjoyed the sunrise as it came through the front windows. The hot tub was used almost daily. We appreciate that the cabin is dog friendly so they could enjoy a vacation. We looked forward to relaxing on the front porch daily in the evening and watching our visitors (mama bear and 3 cubs) walk up the road and disappear into the woods below the road. We got watch one of the bears open a contractors truck door, opened it and climbed in to steal his lunch. So be sure to lock your doors and leave no food in your vehicles. We plan on returning in the future and making more memories!

A "Beary" fun cabin stay!

We arrived to a beautiful and clean cabin. It had enough grass for our pup to roll in and bask in the sun. When the sun was too hot we enjoyed the shaded porch. Bears entertained us during our visit by playing and eating on top on top of trees. The surrounding area provides fun for everyone. During our visit we walked Llamas at Smokey mountain Llama treks. Our dog enjoyed a dog approved trail by Sugarlands visitor center. A beautiful streams runs along the trail and of course, enjoyed the mountain views at Newfound gap. Our favorite pizza shop is, The best Italian in gatlinburgh and we also enjoyed the best shakes at, The crazy Mason. The owner was so polite and responsive. She was so helpful along with the maintenance worker when the keypad needed a new battery. We truly had a wonderful time at this adorable cabin!

Great weekend get away

I booked this cabin just after 4 pm the day before travelling to the cabin. I honestly didnt expect to find a place on such short notice, especially since i was travelling with pets. Lo and behold, Kate came through for me! Just Chillin has been perfect for my friend and me. It was just a bit hard to find, but that's part of the fun. The cabin was cozy, the furniture was very comfy, the beds and bedding were nice, and the hot tub worked perfectly! (Everything in the cabin worked perfectly, although Ms Pacman kept beating me.) Each bedroom, as well as the bonus room, had a TV. It was easy to drive to the park from this location, no need to deal with Gatlinburg traffic. Kate was very quick to respond to any questions I had. The goal for this weekend was relaxation. Mission accomplished!

Great Stay in the Smokies!

I chose Just Chillin because of it's great reviews, more private location, and because it was dog friendly. My husband and our dog, Atlas, agreed it was a good choice! The cabin was better than described. It was well stocked with kitchen appliances, pots and pans, detergent, and plenty of towels. The beds were comfortable and the place was clean, including the hot tub. I was happily surprised to even find dog bowls, poop bags, and even small toiletries in every bath. There was a library of DVDs and a good selection of games which we enjoyed. Having a small yard for our dog was convenient and something other cabins didn't offer. We also really liked that you couldn't really see the neighboring cabins from the porch. The property felt more private and was quiet. Kate was also great about communicating before, during, and after our stay. I would recommend a higher clearance vehicle for the drive. The turn off of Upper Alpine is a steep and sharp and a sedan may have some trouble. While the road the cabin is on is narrow and steep you get used to it and we never encountered another car coming the opposite direction. You do need to be bear aware, a bear came across the lawn with my dog and I on the porch and really paid us no mind. They clearly are used to people and live in the area. I would definitely stay at Just Chillin again!

This cabin was as awesome as advertised...including the bears

My family and I had an incredible vacation in this awesome cabin! Everything was just as nice as it looks online. There was plenty of space for 6 people and a dog. I honestly was a little worried with it being a pet friendly cabin. I feared there might be dog hair everywhere. It was spotless. I didn't see a single pet hair anywhere. My in-laws dog loved it. It was so nice to have a little yard for him. You can't find that at most cabins. The bedrooms and bathrooms were all very nice. The beds were all comfortable. The kitchen was stocked. Plenty of pots, pans, dishes, glasses and utensils. I can't imagine you would be wanting anything. There was even a crockpot and electric griddle. I've been to a lot of places with uncomfortable furniture. Not Here! They made great choices. I recommend the reclining chair in the living room and the sofa in the game room. Make sure you get in a little Ms. Pacman while you are in there. The propane fireplace in the living room was nice too. We enjoyed using that. As great as the inside was, the porch and deck might even be better. I spent a lot of time relaxing on the swivel gliding chair. The firepit was so nice. We spent just about every evening toasting some marshmallows around it. Sitting in the hot tub was also very nice. It was just so peaceful at this cabin. There is virtually no traffic. Vehicle traffic that is. Bear traffic is a whole different story. In my opinion, that's what made this already 5 star cabin better than that. By the

Just Chllin was the perfect home away from home for our thanksgiving break. It is well taken care of and furnished. The hot tub was clean and hot. The kitchen was well stocked for our cooking needs. The front porch with the comfortable seating was lovely! Kate was considerate and quick to respond.

Peaceful Getaway

We stayed 5 nights with 5 adults and 2 children. There was plenty of space for all of us. We saw a Mama Bear and her 2 cubs come by every late afternoon/evening. We will definitely come back again!! The hosts were Fantastic and great with communication. Highly Recommend!!!!

Wonderful Smoky Mountain Vacation

Our stay at Just Chillin was fantastic. Kate was wonderful to communicate with during our stay. The cabin was perfect for our family's Gatlinburg vacation. We saw lots of bears during our week stay! The hot tub was great as well as the fire ring on the porch. Highly recommended! Definitely would stay here again.
