The cabin was perfect for our family of 8. Everyone had their own space, and there was plenty of room. Our favorite parts were the fireplace, deck on both levels, and game room. Would stay again!
We enjoyed the cabins location. It snowed one day and we went to Ober mountain which was 3 minutes away. We even had a bear come by the front door. We would definitely stay there again.
Great place and location. Had everything we needed and then some! Could have used an extra roll of toilet paper in each bathroom but we were able to go to a local grocery close by. Loved this place and would definitely recommend!
great property for a bigger group of people, very clean, and easy check in. close to shops, food, activities. only downside was the listing included a pool table and upon arrival there was not one. disappointed but still had a great trip overall. would definitely stay again.
We traveled here with 6 adults. There was plenty of room for everyone. The house was very clean and the rooms were spacious and comfortable along with the beds! The only thing I would suggest as if you are staying longer than a couple of days would bring toilet paper as there was only one roll in each bathroom. We enjoyed our time in Gatlinburg and would stay here again!

A mixed bag
I've mostly had great experiences with VRBO, but was disappointed with this stay. We stayed in Gatlinburg in mid-February. The cabin was nice, but the booking fees were ridiculous. The cabin itself was 675 for 4 nights, but with the host fee, cleaning fee, VRBO fee, pet fee, and 3 taxes, it was over 1300.The cabin is up scary mountain roads and the directions were sketchy. The property management company didn't tell us about pet fees before booking. We were surprised with 178 in fees AFTER we booked (when searching VRBO, I checked the box looking for "pet friendly" places and said we'd be bringing 2 dogs. Maybe it didn't stick, but there was nothing in the property description about a pet fee.) Also, there is NO YARD to walk your dogs. Cabin is built into a cliff.A storm knocked our power out for 15 hours. In winter. I called and messaged property mgt. for help and got the "there's nothing we can do" line. For what we paid, there was a lot they could've done to help. They could've called to check on us or let us know they spoke to the power company. They could've asked if we needed anything like flashlights, candles, or blankets. They could've told us the gas fireplace works, even without power (we questioned whether the electric starter would work). The cabin was fine, but needs minor repairs/updates (curtains, cabinet doors off their hinges, windows won't stay open). Bring your own toilet paper- you only get 1 roll per bathroom and it's as soft as sandpaper.
We saw bears several times a day, sometimes even in the driveway! That was the highlight of our stay!! The place is very nice, the main area & kitchen especially!! The bathrooms could use some updating but it was clean! Internet connection was spotty but you ARE up on top of a mountain!! We would’ve liked a little more direction posted ir left in the cabin (usually there is a binder providing info like - directions to the associated resorts, remote control advice, checkout requirements, etc). Overall, we were very pleased.
We came to town from Texas for a basketball tournament at Rocky Top Sports world. My husband, myself and our 3 children (17,16 and 13) this cabin was PERFECT for us! It was so beautiful, and the views were amazing. Couldn't have asked for a better experience, we will be back very soon!
The cabin was nice and comfortable and we enjoyed our stay. But when I booked the cabin was advertised as having a pool table and that was a good selling point for some of the adult guest. Also when we got there I was washing a load of clothes then discovered the dryer had no heat and that was very inconvenient. Especially after a valve in one of the toilets broke qnd the bathroom flooded. They fixed it the next morning.but just frustrating having to deal with that on vacation.
This was our first family vacation with adult children and it was a great cabin for that. Each one had their own area. We did have a hard time having people at the table and someone working in the kitchen. The cleaners missed alot - trash left in containers, opened alcohol in minifridge, laundry in dryer. But none of that effected our stay.
Awesome location. Great setup. Lots of bear sightings which we loved. Dog had fun walking mountainside. Had trouble with TVs. 1 of 5 worked. Please bring supplies with you...nothing provided. Instructions on shower could be provided ahead of time or posted. King sized beds were a plus.pizza delivered was sooooo good. Priced reasonably. Pool was awesome. We stayed in community and cooked at home. Would rent again.
The directions and address were great. The check in experience was great. The listing was accurate.
We enjoyed the arcade and air hockey. We didn't know how to turn off the arcade for the people who slept in the gameroom.
The main level bedroom was ok. The bed was too soft, almost like a down feather bed. The main level bathroom smelled of urine near the toilet, although I didn't see any. The carpet in the main bedroom had too much pet hair to have been cleaned thoroughly. (Were I the owner and paying the extra cost for cleaning, I would be very disappointed). A lot of it transferred onto my black clothes, which i had put in the floor after wearing.
Overall, though, we all enjoyed our stay at the cabin.
We are unhappy with cabin cleanliness and condition of cabin. The code to door didn’t work at check in, refrigerator door would not stay closed, shower head fell out of wall, ceiling fan sounded like an airplane taking off and shook the bedroom, the cabin was full of dust/dirt, I don’t think it had been deep cleaned in months.
Most disappointing for our family is the pool table was removed. Pool sticks and balls still there but no pool table, as advertised when we booked. Additionally, the weather was cold and perfect for the fireplace. Fireplace worked our first day but stopped working the next day, after a call to Cabins for You I was told that the gas is shut off on 4/1... they could have given us notice if this.
Cabins for You offered a $150 discount off our next stay, I let them know that was unacceptable because we will not be using this rental service in the future. I was told a Supervisor would call me however, that was 5 days ago and I haven’t her from the Supervisor.
We have been going to this area for years with our family and this is the first and last time we will book with this service.
We came in for the parade ans this cabin was everything we could have wanted. Beautiful scenery, beautiful inside and out. Beds were very comfy, best sleep we have had in a while to be honest.
