About this property
Gatlinburg resort cabin-7 min to National Park!Pickleball-Hot tub-Game room-Pool
When families stay at Cedar Log, the two things they marvel at is how close it is to all of the activities of Gatlinburg, yet how away from it all it feels. A runner-up of the favorites is the comforts and amenities! We strive to provide our guests with a seamless and curated experience.
"Great communication with host when needed. Cabin was very clean, exactly as pictured in listing. Game area was enjoyable for the whole family! Highly recommend!"- James, August 2025
Why Guests Love Cedar Log Cabin
• Game Loft with INFINITY GAME TABLE, which contains multiple electronic board games, Arcade & Pool Table.
• PRIVATE HOT TUB on a screened-in porch: bug-free bliss!
• Access to resort pool (perfect for hot summer days), fire pit, Pickleball & more just steps away.
• Cozy stone fireplace
• No steep roads. Only 7 minutes to the National Park & 12 min to downtown Gatlinburg
• Comfortable beds, Fast Wi-Fi, Smart TVs & streaming apps
The Layout Another perk of the space is how open the layout is. The kitchen, living space, main bedrooms and laundry machines are all on the same level, and even the spacious loft feels connected to the rest of the home, fostering a great sense of togetherness.
“My family had a great time! The cabin fit the five of us with room to spare. Very spacious and extremely clean and organized! Thanks for hosting us!!” - Laura, 2023
Kitchen We’ve stocked the kitchen with all the cooking essentials – even grilling essentials for the outdoor gas grills, including a waffle iron, of course. The kitchen island is great to gather around and the coffee bar (another guest fave!) is equipped with a French press, drip machine, and Keurig.
Living Space The beautiful stone fireplace is the focal point of the home. On the mantel is a smart tv for all of your watching needs. The couches and recliners are incredibly comfortable, a popular spot for midday snoozes.
Bedrooms Speaking of snoozing, the two bedrooms are designed for comfort. The first features two queen beds while the other has a king bed. Both have en suite bathrooms and, through these bathrooms, are private entrances to the back porch area where the hot tub is waiting for you. Both bedrooms are also equipped with smart TVs.
The Loft & Game Room This is the space kids love! It’s part bedroom (with two twin beds) and part arcade. You’ll find a pool table, board games, bean bags, a wall-mounted tv and Pacman machine. The stand out, though, is the Infinity Table – a digital gaming table that holds hundreds of games including your most famous board games for countless hours of family entertainment.
Hot Tub & Porches You came to get in touch with nature and this is the perfect way. Our screened in back porch lets you enjoy the fresh air without the bugs. And the hot tub is just waiting for you to get in and enjoy. Off of the upstairs loft is another screened in, more private balcony. Both have great, private views of the woods. The front porch has 4 rocking chairs, a perfect place for enjoying a morning cup of coffee, in a quiet environment while feeling the breeze of fresh air.
---OTHER THINGS TO NOTE--- • Fast Wifi and smart TVs in every room • Laundry room on the main level. • Complimentary hand soap and starter pack of shampoos provided, along with dish soap and dishwasher detergent. • Towels and linens are provided, including hot tub towels • Community pool access from 10am to 10pm and is just a 3-minute walk away. ---WHERE YOU'LL BE--- White Oak Lodge & Resort is located just off of State Route 321. The cabin is in the back corner of the neighborhood, making it one of the most private spaces in an already quiet community. Yet, it’s still an easy walk to everything on the grounds.
---GETTING AROUND--- With no mountainous roads to the resort, our cabin is a stress free drive away to some of the area's best attractions. After driving through the rest of Smoky Mountain region, you’ll see why this is such a big perk!
---DURING YOUR STAY--- We’ve built a comprehensive guidebook we ’ll send to you a few days before check-in. But for now, check out these recommendations to get a sense of your proximity to all that Gatlinburg has to offer!

We really loved the living room and the fireplace and having a quiet place at the end of the day to enjoy movies and conversation. The location of the cabin away from the bustling downtown Gatlinburg was very much appreciated. The cabin was a welcoming and comfortable place to come back to after our time in the the Great Smokies NP.
Great location away from the crowds but close enough the national park and cool stuff around. The cabin was very clean and the game room was a huge bonus with so many options!
Cabin is exactly as advertised! Lovely pool and easy drive up to the cabin. We cooked for 7 people almost every meal and had everything we needed. The parking in front of the cabin is nearly flat, not a great incline like some Gatlinburg properties.
We really enjoyed our stay while at this property. It wasn’t too far (about 30 min or so) from all the activities we chose to do. The host was easy to get ahold of and very helpful!
we loved the cabin. it was clean and well furnished. the location was fantastic. it is about an hours drive from Knoxville. we had a fantastic time. I would definitely stay here again
Well appointed, very clean, great location. Game area was a hit for all. We loved the front porch for morning coffee after a walk. Close to tourist areas and far enough away for some quiet relaxation.
My husband and I along with our family and infant Grandson had a fantastic time. There was something for everyone to do! The kids all loved the game table as well as playing pool. The rain finally stopped for us long enough to enjoy a few hours at the pool and we had a great time. Would definitely recommend staying here! Owners are very responsive!
Great stay! Clean cabin, quaint yet nice and roomy living space and bedrooms, clear information, communicative and caring owners. Kids had fun with the game console. Thank you.
Communication was easy. The cabin was just as advertised and very relaxing. It was so easy to access. The drive back to Gatlinburg was quick, less than 15 minutes. Easy access to the local stores and crafts. The patio was screened in and made the hot tub very enjoyable. Everyone enjoyed the pool table. The fully prepped kitchen was perfect. We'll be back!
Cabin is exactly as described. Convenient location to Gatlinburg.
Hot tub was perfect end of day relaxation after walking around all day.
Beds were comfortable, plenty of hot water for all 5 of us. Plenty of sitting area in the living room.
Grandkids enjoyed the arcade, and daughter and son-in-law enjoyed a few competitive games of pool.
Owner provided a guidebook that was very helpful for the area.
Very open communication, quick to respond.
WiFi was excellent.
Nice little development to take a walk around, rabbits hopping around the neighborhood.
Overall we had a very relaxing stay.
Although only for 3 nights, my family enjoyed the cabin in White Oak Resort. Had a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner
with all the trimmings. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. After dinner, my son, daughter and her husband enjoyed the hot tub. Our hosts, Jason and Natalie were very responsive to our questions about travel to Gatlinburg as there were wild fires along I-40 and some of the roads going into Gatlinburg were closed. We appreciated there help. Thanks again for the use of your cabin.
This cabin is an absolute gem that offers the perfect balance of rustic charm and modern comfort. The interior is beautifully decorated, with exposed wood and large windows that let natural light pour in. The cabin is impeccably clean and well-maintained, with every detail carefully considered. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need, including high-quality essentials, making it easy to whip up a meal after a day of exploring. The living area has plush sofas and an inviting fireplace. The outdoor space is great with hot tub in screened in porch. The hosts are exceptional—friendly, attentive, and quick to respond to any questions or concerns. Their thoughtful touches and detailed guide to the area, added a personal touch to the experience.Perfect location if you are not interested in going up the narrow winding roads. We left feeling refreshed , and eager to return.
Great communication with host when needed. Cabin was very clean, exactly as pictured in listing. Game area was enjoyable for the whole family! Highly recommend!
This was a cozy and clean cabin with plenty of space for my husband and I and our three teenage boys. The games and pool table in the loft were a huge hit with all of us. The hosts were attentive as well. When we have the privilege of taking another trip, this cabin will be on top of our list for lodging.
This unit was wonderful! It was perfect for our group of four women of a certain age. Our only issue was layout, for which there is no solution. I was sleeping in the loft and the other two bedrooms are downstairs. The bathrooms are accessible only from the bedrooms, so I had to go through a bedroom where someone was sleeping in the middle of the night to get to the bathroom. The only other recommendation is a trashcan for the loft. Thanks for a great stay!
I have nothing but wonderful things to say! The detail of the property was exact and precise, and I already knew the layout before I got there. Such a beautiful property. I love the easy access to the property and the area was well lit and no windy roads to get there. It was fully stocked with everything we needed. I can’t say enough about the owners because they were very attentive and easy to communicate with. No delay in a response when I had any questions. This is definitely a property. We will return to in the future if available because the owners went out of their way to make this an amazing experience. The only negative thing I have to say is the bathroom access. Each bedroom had their own private bathroom, however, I stayed in the loft and the only way I could use the bathroom in the middle of the night was to walk-through one of the bedrooms, which I was not comfortable doing as I had to walk right past the family members that were sleeping.
