The house was clean. But did have an old musty smell. The beds were comfy. Loved the rocking chairs on back porch. We could not get the AC part to come on but the Heater would. The walk from house to Parkway I feel takes longer than 5 minutes. It's a very strenuous walk. The incline was no joke. We made the walk once to Parkway then caught a ride back later that night to house. After that we drove and paid to park every day.
My coworkers and I needed a place close to downtown. This property was exactly what we needed! Excellent accommodations, great communication and clean! Thank you for hosting us this week.
Cute little cabin just a few min walk to downtown Gatlinburg. The beds were comfy and we really enjoyed sitting on the porch at night listening to the stream below. Would definitely book again! Thank you Zach for sharing your home with us!
Zach was very accommodating and responsive when messaged! He checked in on us often. The cabin is in a great location and easy to walk to the main attractions.
Our family had a great stay in the cabin. It is a little quirky in its set up but we like staying at unique properties. It was nice to be able to walk into town. Gatlinburg can be very busy so it was nice to avoid looking for parking.
Space was cozy and clean, and bedrooms were warm and spacious and this place definitely had all the things needed to make this stay fun smooth and steady. The owner was great with communicating and process was smooth
We stayed here for a girls’ trip including 6 adults with three children under 4. The beds/bedrooms worked great for this. Just a short walk to the downtown area made it very convenient. Owner was very quick in responding to messages.
This cabin was perfect for our family weekend getaway. We didn’t have to get back into the car until we left for home. Everything was walking distance or the trolley was a great option to get around town.
The cabin was clean and the beds are very comfortable. We will definitely remember this cabin for future trips here.

Thank you
The condo is very close to the downtown!!
We enjoyed the walk!!
Everything was good, the only concern we had that was a bit smaller then we expected.
It worked perfectly for our needs. Location is very convenient walk to the strip. Zach was always attentive and answered questions promptly.
Interesting to find out it was one of the few in the area that did not burn down in 2016.
The propery overall is nice. It is in a great location near town, with only a short walk to the main shopping area. The beds were comfortable and the host was very responsive and attentive to our needs. Small issue with the HVAC unit, but it was quickly resolved.
The unit is cozy and easily sleeps 8, but a little bit more seating in the house and out on the porch would have been nice for larger groups. But i understand the space won’t allow for it.
Overall nice cabin with a great location.
Small, but charming and cozy. Perfect set up for those traveling with a multi family group or young adults who need independent spaces. Our adult children were able to come and go from the bottom floor without disturbing their younger siblings upstairs. This allowed everyone to set their own schedules and enjoy different activities but still be together for family time when we wanted. Parking was a little difficult for three vehicles, but not impossible. We could walk to the parkway or there is a trolley stop a block away to visit Pigeon Forge or the Glades. We saw several bears at night lurking around, but the walk ways were well lit and trash was at the end of the driveway so they kept a distance.
Enjoyable stay but important note about access situation
My husband and three young children (6, 4, 2) had a nice overall experience at this quaint little cabin, particularly considering its mountain vibe and convenience to the strip. We were disappointed, however, that the description did not prepare us for the access situation between the upper and lower floors, both of which contain two of the four bedrooms. You can only access the lower level via a porch (upper level screened and lower level actually unscreened and quite elevated from the ravine beneath), so there was no internal connection to our children on the lower level at night, which caused them and us much stress and ultimately prompted some necessary sleeping rearrangements. Had I been aware, I could have brought monitors to ease the situation, so I wish to inform other potential guests of this nonstandard layout. The beds were quite comfortable and the heating units very effective - big pluses after our full days exploring in the cold. 🐻
Great location! We walked down to the parkway and were able to walk to the Main Street in Gatlinburg. Cabin was as described, clean and plenty of beds for our family getaway
This house is far enough away from the hustle and bustle of the city to relax, but close enough to walk instead of paying for parking. There is plenty of excitement for all ages.
The host was excellent! He was very responsive, quickly addressing every question. The Vrbo ad says “5 minute walk to the Parkway” in Gatlinburg. No, it’s 0.6 miles to the Parkway, about a 12-15 minute walk. The location is good, though, with the Parkway (downtown strip) fairly close in one direction and the Roaring Fork Motor Nature Trail in the opposite direction. The cabin is quaint and historic, though that does mean the bathrooms and the kitchen are on the small size.
This was the perfect location for a Memorial Day weekend getaway with my children. It was an easy walk from the cabin to the Parkway - much better than getting caught in traffic and fighting for a parking spot. The drive to Dollywood was about 20 minutes and the drive to the Smoky Mountain National Park visitor center was 10-15 minutes. The cabin was cozy and comfortable, and easily accomodated my family of 4, with beds to spare! The kitchen area is small, but well appointed and had everything we needed. We did have the chance to see the neighborhood bear a few times as well :).We would definitely stay here again!
