Let us know if there's a special occasion or celebration, as we are here to serve and wish to make your experience even more memorable
1) We provide complimentary trash pickup for all guests, regardless of how long your stay is with us. We do this in order to serve our guests, and we want to prevent attracting wildlife to the smell of overflowing garbage cans. Simply message us on the booking platform requesting this service at any point during your stay, and we will have a trusted member of our team come out and empty the trash from the bear-proof containers.
2) A guest agreement must be electronically signed by the booker after the stay is confirmed. The guest cancellation policy is as per the platform on which your stay was confirmed at the time of booking. When canceling your reservation, a processing fee of 3% or $65.00, whichever is greater than the total amount of the booking, including all taxes and platform fees paid, will be charged due to all payments being handled by a third-party payment processor. This is only because we are covering fees from both sides of the booking transaction.
3) Our family cabin does not allow pets at this time, and currently cannot accommodate early check-ins. Please note that the roads in the mountains are typically narrower than your average rural road. We also kindly ask that no parties be on the premises. The cabin features a staircase that leads to the water's edge, allowing easy access to the kayaks from the rack for quick launching.
4) WE ENCOURAGE GUESTS TO PURCHASE TRAVEL INSURANCE THAT IS DESIGNED TO PROTECT AGAINST LOSSES DUE TO SUDDEN TRAVEL CHANGES. WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ACTS OF GOD OR UNFAVORABLE WEATHER CONDITIONS.
5) Like many in the area, the cabin is on well water. The water has been tested and meets U.S. EPA guidelines. We have taken extra measures to ensure an even higher level of water quality by installing an ultraviolet Triton water treatment system with a PENTEK filter, including a backwashing system. If you still have concerns, please bring bottled water.
6) Please be aware that bears and their cubs are occasionally seen near the cabin, as it is located near a large water source & the Great Smoky Mountain National Park. Even though bears may appear gentle, it's important to remember that they are still wild animals. Please avoid touching or approaching them. Even if they seem hungry, do not feed wild animals or leave food or trash in your car. Always keep your vehicle locked, as bears have been known to open unlocked doors.
7) Due to the high usage of charcoal at this time, we aren't able to provide or guarantee that it will be available for your use on the grill, as unfortunately, bags of charcoal tend to last only one to two guests, making it too cost-prohibitive for us to provide it for every guest. You can use the INSTACART app, available on both Android and Apple app stores to have household items delivered to the cabin that are specific to your needs.

We had a lovely stay at this cabin in the Smoky Mountains near Gatlinburg. The location was quiet and peaceful, offering a true escape into nature while still being convenient to town. The cabin was well equipped with everything we needed, and the real Christmas tree was such a thoughtful touch that made our holiday stay feel extra special. It was the perfect place to relax, enjoy the scenery, and get away from the crowds. We would definitely stay here again.
We had a wonderful time. Tom, the owner is amazing, he responded quickly and addressed our needs. The lake was absolutely beautiful and my family had fun fishing and exploring. Tom has literally thought of everything!
The cabin was exactly as described and pictured! We really loved the location as it’s super close to the arts & crafts area and both pigeon forge and Gatlinburg were just 15 minutes each way. We were able to catch (and release) numerous brim and one baby catfish in the lake! The owners were communicating entire trip to ensure we had what we needed and on standby if an issue arose. Really appreciated the clean homey feel of the cabin. Great trip and would recommend this cabin to anyone!
We had a great stay at the cabin while visiting the mountains. It was the perfect place to get away from the tourist trappings of downtown and relax in a peaceful setting. The owner was very responsive and quick with communications and we would love to return.
Great location feels remote but only a few miles from the Arts and crafts community area and Gatlinburg . The owner is very responsive during the entire process. All around a Great experience
Our family had a great time! It snowed while we were there so the lake was beautiful! Not a hard drive up the mountain at all. The location was extremely close to everything! Lots of restaurants and shops very close to the house! We would love to book it again in the future!
Used most aminities! Lake/kayaks/ fishing, hot tub, medium bear got playful in front of cabin and lingered on stairs from lake to cabin! So cute and his appearance was entertaining to 2 yr old. My grandson had a drone and flew it over the lake.
Had a great time visiting Gatlinburg, loved staying in our cabin in the mountains. Easy quick drive to gatlinburg or pigeon Forge.Cabin was amazing and as described. Would definitely book again.
Enjoyed all the extras the house had to offer (hot tub, front porch swing, kayaks, and the view). Host is extremely responsive and goes above and beyond to ensure your stay is perfect.
The Mirror Lake Lodge has a beautiful view sitting atop a mountain. Easy to get to, and very relaxing place to stay. The kids loved the video game, and the adults loved the prevalence of coffee everywhere! Great communication with Tommy about a small situation but it was fixed immediately.
We had a wonderful stay. Very nice and relaxing. Neighborhood was quiet and it was nice to sit and listen to all of the different birds.
Kids enjoyed fishing too!
Nice little place to stay and take a break from all the adventures
We had a nice time kayaking in the lake and fishing- they have life jackets and poles! We weren’t at the cabin a whole lot so it was perfect for the short time to cook, relax, enjoy the view of the lake and relax!
We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful cabin overlooking the lake. The owners communication was fabulous!! Always answered questions quickly and tried to accommodate an early check in. The views are absolutely stunning and the cabin itself is very thoughtfully stocked with just about everything you could need. From toiletries to kitchen essentials, it felt like the hosts really considered guest comfort. The space was clean, cozy, and perfect for relaxing and enjoying the scenery. The lake was beautiful and offered a Jon boat a canoe and kayaks as well as some duck food :) One thing future guests should keep in mind is that there are 103 steps down to the lake. I have knee issues and was not able to join my group but I did get to enjoy the incredible views from the cabins many outdoor seating areas on the deck. While the stairs can make lake access challenging for anyone with mobility concerns. It’s definitely something to be aware of depending on your group. Also, the driveway is single car wide and accommodates three cars, so larger groups with multiple vehicles may want to plan ahead.Overall, this is a beautiful, well-equipped cabin with amazing lake views, and we truly enjoyed our stay!!
Mirror Lake Lodge is a beautiful cabin with private lake and gorgeous views. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with nights by the cozy fireplace. It was clean and had a well stocked kitchen.
Communication was excellent. Thank you Tom!
The stay was awesome! The cabin has it all! We fished a day on the lake and caught tons of Bream! Our daughter spent the day in the canoe on the water fishing! The lake/property is just beautiful! The views are fantastic! Grab some groceries and just stay put or take the short drive to the strip of Gatlingburg or pigeon forge! Very convenient location!
Great house, great location, plenty of space, well stocked kitchen. We had a couple minor issues, the owner responded immediately and was able to help us out without any problem. Excellent communication and customer service.
Overall, this property was lovely. It was secluded with its own private lake just as described. We did cook a meal, and the fully stocked kitchen was awesome. I really enjoyed that the property was off the main road and in a quieter part of Gatlinburg. We were trying to get somewhere quiet to recharge and it was exactly what we needed. The views and the hot tub were fantastic. Will stay again if we come back to gatlinburg.
We had a wonderful time here. Plenty of room & a lot of things to do for everyone at cabin. Not far from anything either. We also got to see a Mama Bear & her 3 cubs the day before we left in the driveway. That was really exciting! 🙂

Nice stay
We did not like that the blinds in all the bedrooms were out for cleaning. We were not told that they would be missing and nothing was offered to us for the inconvenience. The property was nice and the location is amazing.
We loved our stay. The cabin is very clean. They had a great coffee bar setup. They provided a way to brew pots and they had a Keurig as well. The kitchen had everything we needed and everything was spotless. The bed rooms were very nice and the beds were comfortable. There is a wall mounted fire place in every bed room. We loved the gas fireplace in the living room. We didn’t get to enjoy the water much but we did love the setup. There are many steep stairs to get to the water but that assisted in our exercise. Tommy the owner I communicated with was so great! He responded very quickly to any questions I had. The instructions for check in and check out and reminders during your stay were very informative and helpful. There were individual instructions provided for various things in the cabin with videos even. The cabin is close to many places such as Dollywood and Pigeon Forge as well as Gatlinburg. The road to Pigeon Forge is a small 2 lane mountain road but there was hardly any traffic taking that route! We would and may definitely stay here again!
