Entire Cabin

The Neighborhood:
Located in the scenic Roaring Fork area of Gatlinburg, the cabin feels tucked away in nature yet is only 1.7 miles to downtown. Enjoy easy access to trails, waterfalls, shopping, dining, and everything Gatlinburg has to offer.

Getting Around:
Paved roads lead to the cabin with a private parking space for one vehicle.
While most vehicles are fine in clear weather, we recommend 4x4 for added safety when visiting the Smoky Mountains, especially in winter or rainy conditions.

Other Things to Note:
• Must be 21 years or older to book.
• Maximum occupancy is 4 guests.
• Parking is limited to 1 vehicle.
• 4x4 vehicle is recommended for mountain travel. Roads are paved but can be impacted by weather.
• Fireplace is gas and operates seasonally (Oct–Mar).
• Keurig and regular coffee maker provided—bring your own coffee.
• Charcoal grill available—bring your own charcoal.
• Hot tub is drained, sanitized, and refilled between each guest stay. It may need time to reach full temperature on the check-in day.
• Starter supplies of toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, and laundry detergent are provided.
• Guests agree to use the website messenger for all communication, even if initial contact is made by another method.
• Bears and all types of wildlife are very common in the area! Do not feed or bother the bears or wildlife! Please leave them alone. We have no control over wildlife. They are very protected here and part of our area. Secure your belongings and always lock vehicle doors.
• We have monthly pest control at all of our cabins.  Being in the Great Smoky Mountains, we are surrounded by nature and wildlife.  Ladybugs, millipedes, and other insects can be difficult to combat around this time of year, even with our constant pest control program in place.  It is not uncommon to see them occur in and around the cabin/condo, especially with the opening and closing of doors.  This is extremely common for the area and all cabins/condos.

Interaction with Guests:
The best and fastest way to reach me is through the website messenger.

Just what we needed!

This place was the perfect amount of cozy cabin and modern amenities! There was even a little black bear just across the road we got to watch safely from a distance. The hot tub was so relaxing to take an evening soak in after a long day of sightseeing. We absolutely loved this place!

Clean, private, cozy cottage close to attractions

This home was exceptionally clean, private, and comfortable. The check-in/check-out instructions were clear and helpful, leaving us with no confusion or questions whatsoever. It's located within minutes of downtown Gatlinburg just off the Parkway, but still far enough away to be relaxing and quiet. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this property for a couple's getaway!

We felt at home away from home in this cute little cabin surrounded by beautiful trees. My mother's day weekend with my son was amazing. Bed is super comfortable and the jacuzzi was delicious. I will stay there again. We love it! Jazmin

Cute and private

This was a great little place to stay. It was perfect for a couple. The decor was nice, it had everything we needed for a weekend stay, and it was very clean. It was also far enough off the beaten path to feel private and have no city noise or lights, but it only took 5 minutes to get into Gatlinburg. I highly recommend it.

Idyllic quaint cabin

This cabin is so adorable! I loved all the interior details. It is the perfect distance from Gatlinburg; out enough you are not in the mix of things, but close enough to hop, skip, & jump right into everything. Directions to the location on gps were spot on... when leaving though, you don't go out the same way you came in. We did have a bear cub come check out the back patio while we were there.

Quiet and Close to Gatlinburg and the Park Entrance

Cozy little house that was well maintained and clean. We drove to the park entrance each day between 8-9am, and had no issues getting a close parking spot for a daily hike. For 3 days in a row a Black Bear visited the house area, he was eating nuts that fell from the walnut tree so we had to watch out for him before coming and going. the Wifi was adequate for us as we worked remotely from the location some. I would definitely return again.

The hot tub was amazing, the cabin made us feel at home. This is definitely on our list for next year. Best experience we've had in a long time! 5 out of 5 highly recommend! And the fact that we arrived late due to a wedding, and did not have any troubles getting in, and check out time is at 10 which is not bad at all. Loved it! Next time you're in the area give Kirkland cabins a try!

Wonderful place to stay. We enjoyed it very much!! The only thing we had an issue with was the lock on the door.. however this could’ve been user error. We got it figured out. Private and easy to get to. Very clean. Would definitely stay again.

Cute place!

The cabin is prettier in person than in the pictures. It was so cozy. There is a full kitchen that is outfitted with everything you’d need, although the knives need to be sharpened. Everything was really clean, including the bathroom. I am one who can be grossed out easily by vacation homes and I never felt that here. The toilet had a seal on it so I knew that everything was clean. The bed was really good and the ac works great! It was so nice in the hot summer. The location on a quiet road so you don’t wake up to loud cars nearby and we saw bears near the cabin once. The location is really great. We liked that it was in a beautiful area and felt secluded while still being close to Gatlinburg. The host was very responsive on the portal for anything we needed. I do wish that the WiFi password was posted somewhere because it took me a while to find it, but that may just be because I didn’t check my vrbo messages. We stayed a week and the only things I wish we had was more than one roll of toilet paper as well as additional trash bags since we ran out of room in the kitchen trash. We ended up buying some for ourselves. Overall, we had a fantastic time and really enjoyed this cabin. we would book again in an instant if we could!

Great stay

My wife and I just returned from a short trip to Gatlinburg. We stayed at Kirkland’s place unit 34. It was perfect for the 2 of us. Cozy cabin in a rustic, park-like setting with a secluded hot tub. We were only a mile from downtown Gatlinburg so we did not have a lot of car time. We will definitely return.

Nice place to stay

Very nice cabin close to downtown. Trip was with my wife and 6 m/o and we had a great time. The appliances were all nice and new. Cabin was clean, hot tub was clean and worked great, not much more you could ask for. Communication with the host was also good. We had no issues issues or complaints during our stay and would book this cabin again. Something of note; the parking situation is less than ideal if traveling with a truck. The drive way is cut back into the hill, in a fairly blind turn, and likely wouldn’t fit a crew cab truck with a long bed If not traveling with a truck, no issue at all. Again, not an issue, but something to keep in mind if you have vehicle choice
