You will love it At First Sight. Our beautifully decorated, 1 bedroom, 1.5 bath chalet is tucked back in the woods about half way up the mountain enabling you to escape to the serenity of the forest in just a few minutes. Although secluded we are just minutes from the all of the major attractions, downtown Gatlinburg, the Ober Ski Lodge or the Great Smoky Mountain National Park. Enjoy your Gatlinburg honeymoon or romantic getaway in total luxury.

At First Sight features a huge king size master suite on the upper level with gas log fireplace , a 2 person whirlpool and a screened porch with a swing where you can enjoy that morning cup of coffee while also enjoying Mother Nature in the peace and serenity of the Smoky Mountains.

The main level boasts a spacious living area and second fireplace with full kitchen and rec. room with pool table and hot tub on the deck. The main level deck is a huge wrap around deck and the hot tub is private. There is also a charcoal grill for your outdoor cooking experience.

The cabin is enabled with high speed wireless internet access. Tv's are in the living room, bedroom and the rec. room.

Just a couple of miles from the cabin and you’re right in the heart of the attractions, entertainment, shopping, and a wide range of dining selections on the main parkway in downtown Gatlinburg. Pigeon Forge is only about 8 miles which offers fun for all ages with go-carting, in-door laser tag, and video gaming arcades for the kids; and hundreds of shops offering quilts, antiques, and a wide range of local shops with arts, crafts, and collectibles that make the days long and the stories even better. When evening falls, there are numerous options for entertainment from musicals, to magic, to shindigs and down home country fun.

Quiet get away

Stayed for two nights before a work conference. Nice place. Saw black bears. Quiet place. Didn't spend much time there but enjoyed my time when I was there.

I would say the cabin was very nice however I didn’t l realize it was going to be that far up the mountain. We also ran into tree works 3/7 days we stayed which made it extremely difficult to get back down the mountain.

Honeymoon trip

This beautiful cabin perched right above Gatlinburg, helped set the mood perfectly for our honeymoon trip. Beautiful views, wonderful amenities, and ambiance. Only around 10 minutes away from downtown gatlinburg, the cabin is in the perfect location to stay quiet, yet close to all the fun. It was perfect

Perfect place to stay

Location is incredible. 10 minutes from the Gatlinburg strip. Cabin had a nice cozy layout. We will definitely go back.

Perfect place in the wood

We really enjoyed our stay. We got to see a mama bear and three cubs in the property. The upper balcony with screened in porch was perfect for relaxing. The pool table with fun. Driveway was tricky to navigate but otherwise everything was great! Thanks

Unbelievably Beautiful

You will love this magical piece of heaven nestled in the mountains. So many places to sit and enjoy your beautiful surroundings. We saw bears 4 of 6 days we were there. Ate all meals outside when possible. Book an extra day longer because You will not want to leave!!!! GET THERE BEFORE DARK ON YOUR FIRST NIGHT. Bring ice with you. If there are ice trays, we didn't find them. The inside is comfy and modern, bed is extra comfy, we brought an air mattress so our young daughter could sleep in the huge bedroom with us. Jacuzzi tub was spacious, shower has great pressure, pool table was a hit. I literally could go on and on about how great this place is. We will be back ASAP!

This is a great place to stay. Well stocked with towels, etc. The bedroom was huge and a great game room with a pool table. We will stay again.

Such a beautiful getaway!

This is a cozy chalet! We enjoyed our stay. The decor was our favorite! Love how the cabin had a pine tree inside with themed decor! The bed in the master room was amazing and the pull out sofa was the best we’ve ever slept on! It was perfect for our girls getaway!

Great mountain vacation

Very comfortable and attractive cabin on the edge of Smoky Mountain National Park. Make sure your car can handle very steep mountain roads- the driveway will make your heart stop the first time you access it! Otherwise a perfect mountain getaway in Gatlinburg.

Perfect Getaway

The drive up was a little nerve wracking but once we were there it was perfect. We had planned to spend part of our stay in town seeing sites but I did not want to make the drive back up so we decided to spend our 36 hours in the Chalet. Between the hot tub, pool table and super comfy bed, we had the most relaxing getaway we've ever had.

Great get away

My lady and I would like to thank you SO much for allowing us to enjoy your place for the time we were there, we found it extremely well taken care of, we come to Gatlinburg every year for a few days of rest and relaxation, this was hands down one of the best places we’ve had the pleasure of being a part of,, every part of our stay there was so enjoyable , we loved the deck, the hot tub, pool table, and the king size bed was to die for, very very comfortable, I can’t think of a single thing I could complain about, thank you so very much for being helpful for any questions we had, I can’t say enough about the place,, and thank you for being really nice , helpful, and caring people,,

1710 Zurich spring getaway

Gps (no fault of cabin location) took the long but scenic route. For longwheel base dually types dont be scared you can still get there. For majority of our time. very quiet. Can access downtown with ease. Would ask owners to have more cleaning upkeep items( trash bags etc) even with majority of our stay raining still enjoyable

Best Chalet in Gatlinburg Hands Down!!!

I normally don’t do reviews, but it’s hard not to on this Chalet. From scheduling to check out Mrs. Helton was a pleasure to work with. Definitely the best experience I’ve had here and I’ve been here several times as we are from Kentucky so a easy drive in. First things first, the pictures due this home no justice. This home completely blew me away from the cleanliness down to talking to Mr. Wooten the home owner himself. I can’t say enough about the Wootens or their very very beautiful and secluded home. We had 0 issues except we didn’t want to leave, we even paid for a additional night because we loved it so much and decided we needed another day. This is a great place for a couples retreat or small family (4 or less). We saw so many bears one was 550 lbs!!! The last night we stayed we were changing upstairs and heard something on the patio and we went to see what it was and it was a black bear biting and trying to take the hot tub cover off!!! So beware of the bears but that’s half the reason you come to the Smokies though right? At the end of the day I can’t say enough of the cleaning crew to the home owners of this beautiful home. If your looking for a getaway from home but with a home feel look no further, if your deciding between this home or another please consider this one because it will not let you down. We decided on couple trips here we will be booking this Chalet everytime. Steve and Debi I appreciate all you have done to make this trip a special and memorable one!!! Now stop thinking about it and book it before it’s to late!
