Only decaf coffee was left with the room’s coffeemaker. As a big caffeinated coffee drinker, I was a little perturbed that my 1st coffee of the morning was decaf.

Terrible
The parking lot was not cleared of snow very dangerous walking. Its a pet friendly hotel but no signs saying you cant bring your pet in the lobby. Morning clerk at the desk was very rude about it. Will not stay here again

The front clerk Cassidy was fantastic. She assisted me in getting my hotels.com reservation changed because of an error with having a dog in the room I reserved.

Microtel inn was perfect for an overnight stay. Conveniently located and was safe with ample parking. The staff were excellent and helpful. I would stay there again when doing a long trip to Myrtle Beach

The manager was very unhelpful in checking us in. Possibly because I made the reservation online just before going to the hotel, the payment from Expedia had not processed yet. The manager Nancy acted like it was my problem and refused to check us in, and told me I needed to call Expedia. Very unprofessional and no concern for the client who had been traveling all day. I also suggested the manager handle the problem instead of letting her cork muddle through.

Find another hotel ... not worth it
The Hotel is not being kept well. Our room had a broken microwave and a broken hair dryer. The inernet was not just slow, my husband could not connect to the wifi. I could connect after 20 minutes of trying. The TV kept on freezing because the system was too week so it kept on buffering. The staff were not frendly. I usually do not give a bad review but I was really disappointed with this hotel.

Internet did not work on the 3rd floor, due to the distance to the router / weak signal, air & heat were over and under performing, check-in took entirely too long. Overall, I would not stay again if I can help it.

I called two days in advance to book rooms that are close to each other as we were traveling with my sister and I needed to be close to her. I was assured that we would have rooms on the first floor side by side. When we arrived no such luck. They put us on the third floor and my sister on the first. They didn’t acknowledge the request. Not happy.

Good value for an overnight stay
Good place for an overnight stay. The property is slightly tatty at the edges (carpet stains, scuffed walls) but the room was comfortable. The beds were soft and comfortable and there was a selection of pillows. The bathroom was small but adequate. We really appreciated the desk with a hard backed chair and lighting over it. The sink faucet leaked when on cold but otherwise things were in good repair. The desk staff were welcoming and gracious is accommodating our needs for two seniors with mobility issues. We would stay here again if passing through.

Poor lighting on our floor, 3rd- end of hallway was completely dark- didn’t feel comfortable as a female traveling with my 13 year old daughter with very little lighting.

Certainly could have been better. My daughter and I checked in then went up to our room. We got to the room and noticed a yellow stain on the comforter right in plain site. We went back down to the front desk who apologized and got it taken care of we went back up to our room and gathered our wallets and went for a bite to eat came back at 7pm and when we got to our room I pulled back the comforter on the other bed and it had hair and makeup all over it. I just pulled the comforter back over it and slept on the top sheet that looked clean at least. Around 11pm someone tired coming into our room... This just was not the best experience for our first time.

i could not believe when i phoned about our reservation the clerk answering the phone was very rude. and then we arrive and get to our room. very crowded with stuff and there was a used towel hanging on bathroom door. when i took a shower there was no shampoo and then there was a long black hair in tub. i have very short hair. also the breakfast. stale bisquicks, coffee was empty and the clerk was not impressed when asked to fill, and then it tasted terrible...

I have stayed at this property several times over the last couple years, and chose this place because of past experiences. The staff was not nearly as courteous as during previous visits and the total experience did not measure up to prior visits.
