Quick Easter Weekend Getaway

The property was perfect for our family! It was such a quick walk to the beach that I was able to take multiple beach walks between short rain showers. It was also close enough that we walked to grab pizza for the kids. The host was super communicative and accommodating. I would definitely stay here again!

This house was perfect for my adult children, their significant others and me and my boyfriend. Room to gather in the comfy living room or on the outside deck. We loved the location one block from the lake and Walking distance to a couple restaurants. Will definitely book another stay here.

Perfect Everything!

We had such a great stay in this home. TV in every room, clean, fenced in yard for our dogs. Owner met us at check in and was so kind and communicated thoroughly. We will hopefully be coming back every year!

This property was perfect for our needs. We were walking distance to the lake. We were close to both the national and state Dunes parks. The electronics were great as was the kitchen. There was a fenced in back yard for our dog.

Great spot to get away while not really being too far from anything. Tom is great and very helpful with info about anything you need to know nearby. Very close to beach and very easy to get to and from beach areas. House is nice and spacious and listing is accurate.

Nice location to base a visit to Indiana Dunes National Park. Plenty of room for our 3-person family get-together and a short walk to the beachfront. Appreciated the fenced yard for the dog. We had a car issue and found a friendly neighbor who loaned us what we needed to solve the problem!

My sons and I were looking for a quiet, comfortable place to stay near the beach. This checked all of our boxes. It was clean, well located, everything we could have wanted. Birthday vacation !

Our stay was absolutely amazing . House was very clean and provided everything we needed . Communication with the property owner was fabulous! He communicated with us every step of the way . The location was great as well with only being a block away from a private beach . My family really enjoyed their selves and made great memories on this trip . I highly recommend this house and location if your looking for a nice and peaceful little get away .

Exactly what we wanted!

I wanted a place to stay while visiting both Indiana Dunes National Park and Chicago. This was the perfect place. Driving to both the state park and national park was very easy as both were very close. We were able to spend several days hiking. Then we used the South Shore Line to go into Chicago to do some sightseeing and visit museums. The place was clean, cozy, with all the amenities that were promised.

Wonderful cozy home near the shore

We wanted a quick 3 day getaway for fall break and decided to rent a home instead of a hotel. This house was perfect. Tom our host met us there and walked us through the property. Although a little older the wood floors, cozy environment and bedrooms were charming. The house has smart tvs so it was no problem linking into our favorite streaming apps to watch a movie. The fireplace outside was perfect for the crisp look October evenings and Tom made sure we were fully stocked with firewood. One of the best VRBOs I’ve stayed in. Super clean, comfy and the beds were perfect. Would stay here again for sure!

I came to the area for a birdwatching festival, this was the perfect location! The neighborhood was super cute, the home had everything I needed, and the host was wonderful to work with! Check in was easy- I arrived at night and felt safe even though I was traveling alone. The bed was so comfortable and the towels soft and fluffy! It felt just like a home away from home! The house is also very close to the beach and other park areas! Be sure to check out “Indie Indie Bang Bang!” While visiting, it is a super cute gift shop not too far from the house.WiFi and appliances were easy to use, and I had what I needed for cooking my meals before and after each day I spent exploring the dunes area. I cannot wait to stay here again!

Great stay at the beach.

We booked the house for a trip to visit family and it was perfect for the 4 of us and 3 medium/small dogs. The house was clean, well decorated, and had everything we needed. There is no washer or dryer but there are a few laundromats nearby. We went to Sunny Days in Willowcreek Plaza in Portage. Clean and well-managed with plenty of machines. Tom met us upon our arrival to give us a tour and answer any questions we may have had. He was great. Very friendly and quick to respond to any texts we sent. The house is in a great location as it is within walking distance from the beach and Flamingo Pizza of Miller. The neighborhood itself was great for walking our dogs. We went in the offseason so there was barely any traffic. All in all, we were very comfortable and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We look forward to visiting again.

Beyond Comfy

The property is lovely, inside and out. It provide a beautiful haven of physical and emotional comfort as we attended the funeral of a dear family member. We are grateful it was available and hope to return soon to enjoy it happier circumstances.
