Our main reason for booking this hotel was the proximity to Hamburg and it was within walking distance to the train station. It's location on the river was picturesque and it was close to all amenities and restaurants. Parking whilst provided was difficult, as parking garage and parking spots were extremely tight, even for a small car. What a gem of a hotel, a great brand, DORMERO Hotel Altes Kaufhaus Lüneburg. The hotel was location near the old part of town is ideal. The hotel has a very relaxing atmosphere. The Wellness centre is excellent for a swim and sauna. The apartment was spacious and it has the most comfortable bed. We loved our stay and will most certainly be back

The room was clean, good natural light, comfortable. The bathroom was well organised. The reception desk was helpful and very pleasant. The dining room, accessed by a cute enclosed glass bridge over the canal, provided very good breakfast and dinner. It was an easy brisk walk to the Elbphilharmonie. A very good hotel.

Overall this is a great hotel to stay in convenient to my family locally and easy access to bergedorf and hamburg. The staff as always fantastic. Special mention to Yvonne on weekends. 2 negatives whoever. The first is having no fridge in the room, i am sorry guys simply not good enough for a 4 star hotel. The 2nd no air conditioning in the current hot conditions in europe made for a very uncomfortable sleep.
Overall this is a great hotel to stay in convenient to my family locally and easy access to bergedorf and hamburg. The staff as always fantastic.
