"The view was the highlight. We had an ocean-view room with a balcony and watched the sunset right from our room, which was amazing. The room itself was good. The bed was a little firm for a side sleeper, but the staff were able to accommodate our request for hypoallergenic bedding, which matters a lot for those of us with allergies. Would stay again for the view and the helpful service."

"This was just what we needed. A couple days by and in the river to reconnect with nature was relaxing and comfortable. You can't help but breathe a little deeper in this area. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen is well stocked with everything we needed to prepare meals. The house has many areas to relax in. And if you're there at the right time, the old apple tree in front has delicious, ripe apples. Communication the Rita was easy and efficient. We appreciate the offer of a late check-out, and would have stayed a little longer if we had no plans for the day."

"Absolutely perfect! This was our second stay at this house. The view and the fenced yard are two of my favorite things at this house. It was a very relaxing stay!! The beach walks were great and almost no one else on the beach. Looking forward to another stay here. I would highly recommend this house!!"

"If what you are is looking for is a bed and a shower with some ability to store and heat your food, this is the place for you. It is basically an aging motel that appears to be lacking a budget ( or creative captain at the helm) for basic upgrades, but that said, the bed was comfortable, the manager responsive, the location along the Oregon coast very convenient. We got what we paid for which is no frills, no extra towels, no closet or dresser to store our clothes. It is pet friendly, haa easy parking and good TV set in room. Right next to the highway, but noise calms down in the evening. Good galleries, bookstores, and restaurants in town. Love Port Orford!"
