The hotel was clean and it’s on a quiet street but I was disturbed by someone at the hotel screaming for help one day. Next the laundry and trash cart is very loud they go up and down all day and night with this awful loud cart. When I asked for cleaner for the tub after being there almost a week they looked at me like I was crazy they were very rude. The woman manager mainly but the other employees act like they are scared of her. She drives a Benz truck and acted like I was beneath her every question I asked she looked like she was in disgusted with me she made me very uncomfortable like I was supposed to know how the hotel was operated.

I absolutely loved my stay at Sanford House. I went for the Spain Portugal World Cup game at the Dallas Stadium, and I’m so glad I found this gem. The hotel is only 15 min walk to the stadium, which save time and money on transportation. And the hotel has a lovely free shuttle to and from the stadium if you don’t want to walk. You can request it anytime you want. The rooms are individually decorated and themed with famous composers. My room The Brahms was spacious and gorgeous. The windows face the courtyard downstairs and it was magical when the sun comes through. The beddings, sofa and bathroom were clean. However there were some corners that needed more regular cleaning. The lamp had some dust on it, and the drawers of the coffee bar were a bit molded. The best part of the hotel is the courtyard and the secret garden. They are beautifully constructed and well maintained. There were birds, squirrels and butterflies in the garden. It was a scene from fairytale. The staffs were very helpful. The front desk was accommodating to all my needs. The restaurant staff were so considerate. They prepared breakfast for me even though I’m late. They packed food for me to take to my room before they were closing the kitchen and gave me some extra muffins I loved as snacks. Van who operated the shuttle were there for me to go to the stadium and the second I was ready. It’s a pity that I stayed for only 2 days.

I reserved a room with a jacuzzi tub but when I arrived they informed me that room was not in working order so they had to put me in a standard room. I reserved this room in hopes of using the pool during my stay however the pool was concreted filled in. I was very disappointed the bathroom in the room needs maintenance as well
