"This was a wonderful choice for a quiet place to stay in Garmish-Partenkirchen. Phillip, a 3rd generation owner / manager of the hotel was incredibly helpful in many respects and speaks excellent English. Hotel is in a quiet neighborhood just a short stroll from a main shopping street with many great eating options. Room had a balcony with an amazing view of the mountains. Had to provide passports when checking in (very common) and Phillip noticed my wife's birthday was the next day and they arranged a special treat for her. Really a nice and personable touch. Room was very comfortable and I can't recommend this hotel strongly enough. "
