The house was clean and had everything needed to cook and clean. It was a 2 minute drive to the lake and had an amazing outdoor set up. We will definitely be booking this house again when the time comes.
We were in town for spring break. My family (husband and son), my parents and their dog, my brother and his wife. The house size was perfect, really enjoyed coffee in the deck in the mornings. Everything was clean, kitchen had all the basics needed. Short drive into town. It was a great overall stay.
We took a family trip here for thanksgiving 2023. The home was in a very quiet area of the lake and within a nice distance of shopping, exploring, etc. House had adequate towels, sheets, etc as well as being reasonably stocked with kitchen utensils. (coffee maker, plates, cups, etc.)
Overall we were pleased with our visit.

Stay was fair
The hosts were great with communication and we appreciated the opportunity to check out Arkansas. A big storm came through and even though we lost power for a few hours our family was safe and our car was protected.
Unfortunately we just couldn’t relax in the space.
The house was exactly what we expected. We had a party of 7. Very accomodating. The management was very nice and helpful. We suggested more front porch lighting. The lake is blocked by trees during the summer. There is no back yard area. Ultimately it was an awesome and roomy house, the recreational games provided were fun! We enjoyed our stay. Also, one more recommendation the beds are kindly firm. The house was stocked eith everything we needed. Extremely clean.
We travel to the area every year, and this is the first property I would consider coming back to. There were little things, like squeaky beds, and the router being located in the main bedroom but with all the room available we were able to work around these issues. I do wish the fireplace had been working, the weather was just cool enough that it would have been nice to cozy around the fire, but it is what it is.
I loved the views off the deck of the lake and watching the full moon rising in the evenings. We didn't do a lot of cooking so the minimal cooking utensils wasn't a problem for us. It was a little ways out of town but it was centrally located for our needs and we enjoyed the beautiful drive. The management company was very nice and easy to get a hold of. All and all it was a lovely stay and I would consider booking here again.
The property was clean and exactly as described. We have stayed at various properties in the area and this is exceptional for the price paid. Close to Indian Creek daycare as well as the Dam areas.
An added bonus was the tornadic thunderstorms overnight on our Saturday stay. Thankfully no damage in our area and everyone was safe. We did lose power, as did everyone else in the area.
An earlier review complained about loss of power. We are from Kansas and these storms and power outages are a fact of life. They are completely beyond the control of the property managers and owners. That said, the property managers were quick to work out a remedy for the loss of power and an early departure.
Would definitely consider this property again in the future.
Secluded and nice, good for dogs except the porch area isn’t connected to the fenced in area but still worked well for mine. A lot bigger in person! Overall would come back:) really cool area
Overall the property is nice, clean, in a quiet location, and perfect for large or small groups. We had one concern about the primary bedroom bed supports but communicated the concern with Karen and she was extremely receptive and ready to remedy the issue. Communication was great from booking to check out, which was appreciated. While there may be a couple of minor kinks to work out, the property is definitely worth booking.

Close but no cigar
The kitchen was terrible. Dishwasher was not functioning due to power source issues. Bare bones for cooking and dishes. Memory Foam mattress was sketchy. I probably would be hesitant to stay here again.

Weekend stY
View of lake or lack there of is not accurately shown on VRBO, some of the bedroom windows had dead bugs all over the sills. Large piece of trim on the kitchen floor was not secured & a tripping hazard. Driveway had a huge chunk missing making it difficult to get up hill to house, dishwasher was falling out of cabinets, other than that we had a great time!
House and grounds were clean and as advertised on arrival. Internet was down and remained sporadic throughout the stay. Could be better options that the Hughesnet satellite for the area? We weren’t there for Internet so no big deal to us. Short drives, less that 10 minutes to Indian Point daycare area on Beaver Lake or Parker Bottoms access for trout fishing. Worked great for us.
