"Have you ever wanted to check in to a rental and be greeted with fresh flowers and have every possible thing you could ever need, including a bundt pan!?! Then this is the place for you!You can tell the owners put a lot of thought and attention into the design and details for this cabin. Everything feels new and high-end, including fancy soaps, coffee, and shampoo! I normally feel the need to wipe down and disinfect most rentals, but not this one because it was so clean. Even the dishes were spotless. Bonuses:- Filtered water was delicious to drink- Lots of dishes so you aren’t having to wash the same 6 plates over and over- Beautiful, live plants in the cabin- Portable speaker- Electric fireplace that can put out heat- Lots of games and puzzles- New, great-working appliances- Recycle and compostThis cabin truly has everything you could possibly want, and I would hesitate to stay here again! Hoping to in the future!"

"Perfect location to go to the great Sands national Park and explore all the trails as well as the sand dunes. The staff of the hotel was really great and we met the owner Alps who was positive. Susan at the front desk was very nice and easy to work with also."

"We had such a great stay here! We brought our toddlers along, and the cabin ended up being a perfect fit for our family. It’s tucked away in a beautiful wooded setting on a calm, quiet street, which made it incredibly relaxing from the moment we arrived.The cabin itself is fun and cozy, and the nearby stream was a really nice touch—we loved spending time just listening to the water and enjoying the peaceful surroundings. The bunk beds worked out perfectly for our setup, and the kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to cook meals comfortably.The hosts were wonderful to work with—communicative, accommodating, and clearly thoughtful about the guest experience.Overall, this was just a great place to unwind and spend quality time together. We would absolutely come back again. Thank you for sharing your wonderful Sasquatch house with us!"

"There was plenty of parking"

"The only reason that I didn't give them four stars is that there was so much light on the front of the building that you could not sit on the chairs and see any stars. I assumed that a place called dark skies would have lights that are motion sensored or more dim so that you could take in the night sky, so we walked about a block down the road to see the stars. Also, the floors are very thin and we could hear every footstep from the neighbors upstairs. The room itself was fine. Very clean and lots of windows. The bed was really hard, but some people like this. "

"We had a late check in due to the weather and driving in from Colorado Springs after dark in the snow, but when we got there after dark and late about 9pm the host still was able to answer my question in just a few min. So much help and the place was beautiful, clean, well stocked and relaxing. Thank you so much it was a great way to be able to be close and attend our son’s wedding in Westcliffe. "

"This house was perfect for our family stay. We had 5 adults and lots of room to hang out. We wish we could have stayed longer. The house was fully stocked with all the necessary kitchen equipment to cook full meals, coffee supplies, and even a few snacks and drinks, left by the host. Loved the out door seating areas and the quietness of the neighborhood. The views were amazing from the 2 floor deck. The communication, check in and house instructions, with the host was through and easy. Would definitely recommend this property!!!!"
