We all enjoyed our stay. There was plenty for all to do and the adults loved not having to worry about the noise the kids made because we were so far away from any neighbors yet it was just a short drive to the beach.
The home has an amazing view from above Bear Lake! We had a family gathering and had plenty of room for all and plenty of activities to do in the home and in the yard. It was great alowing the kids to be paying loudly out in the yard at night without worrying about bothering neighbors. Rendezvous beach is only 10 minutes away with boat rentals and a great beach. We had a quick storm roll in and out after being on the beach and the home was a great place to watch the beauty of it! This is an amazing home and an amazing view of the lake and area! I would recommend this stay to anyone.
We absolutely loved this house! It is on top of a little mountain overlooking bear lake. The home was wonderful and the management team was super responsive. The home was perfect for our large group and so close to the beach at bear lake. We had a so much fun and we will definitely be back. You won’t be disappointed with this house!
We had our family reunion at Bear Lake—just under 40 of us. The property worked out extremely well. Lots of space, a great view, and solitude for days. We didn't have to worry about anyone being annoyed with us for how noisy we all were. Be advised - there is only A/C in the top two bedrooms, and it can get warm at night if you can't get a breeze. We did have a leak in the roof on the last day, but it didn't damper our spirits though it did interrupt the festivities until we got it under control. Who knew we could get rain in August!
This house was great for our family reunion. We loved the view and we had a blast playing games in the yard. It was a great place to host our large group.
The house had plenty of space for our family. We loved the beautiful views from all windows. We loved the volleyball, teetherball and game room options. We’ll definitely want to rent again
The place has plenty of space! We loved having the mountain to ourselves. It was about a 20 minute hike down to the water for our polar plunge. Breathtaking views in all directions. Make sure to bring bug spray because we were swarmed with mosquitos. We had a great time and highly recommend this place!
Over two miles of dirt road that leads to the Bear Lake Rock Pit, the road continues on up the mountain to the top with an excellent view of the lake, but you cannot see the house until after passing the rock pit/quarry. No HVAC except in to bedrooms.

Perfect Home on the Hill for our Family Vacation!
Our family had the most fun and comfortable stay in this beautiful house at Bear Lake! I think the most appealing thing about this home is it's unique location. It is very secluded and we liked that. It is also very comfortable and clean, I prefer that to a cabin-like house. We had plenty of room to spread out and the grandkids loved playing in the backyard "lawn" in the evenings. There is a fire-pit for roasting marshmallows with the gorgeous lake as a backdrop.
But I have to say the number one reason for our wonderful stay was Tawni! She is delightful and so helpful and kind. She is the best host and we felt very welcome. She did everything I could imagine to make our stay so enjoyable and successful.

The property was beautiful and the views were amazing. Most of the beds were comfortable but saying sleeping accommodations for 40 was a bit of an exaggeration. Luckily the little guys didn’t mind camping out on the floor.Walking distance to the beach would be for physically fit people as it was a definite no for the older person(me) in the group. The best beach nearby was rendezvous state park, but we had a great time there on our one full day,The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and cooking supplies and we made use of all of it.We enjoyed the little ground squirrels who came out to see what all the commotion was about. We would have enjoyed having the clear windows and railings cleaner but it wasn’t a deal breaker. The power went out Saturday for a little over two hours but it appears that was a local power outage and not the fault of the property. For the most part it was a lovely stay for my large families reunion.
There were mice in the master bedroom. Barbeque grill had to be cleaned before we could use it. The fan in the living room didn't work and the cabin got pretty hot at times. There were a few things that could have been cleaned a little better. I reported these things and a few other small things to Kaci and she was very understanding and indicated she would take care of it. I enjoyed visiting with her. She was very kind and easy to talk and explain our concerns to. Overall everything went well and we had a good stay.
The house is absolutely beautiful. It’s very functional and has everything you need for a great time. However, it was really dirty. The cleaning company is not doing their job. There were things that hadn’t been cleaned in quite some time and other things that should have been noticed even if it was just from the last renter. Trash from other guests were left in drawers and under beds and couches. I don’t think they had swept or vacuumed. There were dirty dishes in the cupboard and we honestly questioned if the sheets were clean. I don’t blame the owner of the property but want them to know that the cleaning company they are paying is doing a very poor job.
The floor plan was great. The perfect number of bedrooms and bathrooms. The number of tables and chairs for eating was also great. However, the VRBO property description lists a Hot Tub (which over the years has been a deal breaker) but NO HOT TUB. The 8,000 ft. home has air conditioners in the 2 upstairs bedrooms ( which didn't work) and nowhere else in the home. We tried opening up as many windows as possible (it was 85 to 90 degrees on the days that we were there), but most of them didn't have screens. So we either cooked or were deluged by mosquitoes and flies. So we cooked. We loved the seclusion and location of the home, but no towels in the kitchen, No large bags for garbage. One roll of paper towels in the kitchen. etc. All in all was very disappointing, but the price was nice!

Cleanliness needs improvement.
The setup of the house was very fun for our group but there were some issues with cleanliness. The dish washer was full of mold, I think it probably wasn’t used throughout the cold winter months and was moist inside causing the problem. There was used bars of soap left in two different showers and also a swimsuit. The showers were definitely not cleaned before we arrived. There was also hair in a number of bathroom drawers that just didn’t get wiped down. The manager was kind when we told her of the issues and agreed that there were some issues that should be addressed but when we reached out to the owner she seemed very defensive and not really all that nice. She did send the manager to the house to put some cleaner in the dishwasher and let it run a cycle thinking that should take care of the problem but it didn’t, the problem was much bigger. They did remove the used bars of soap and replaced them with some body wash. The owner told us she could send someone to wipe out drawers if we wanted to pay for it. She did offer to find another place for us to stay if we were truly not happy. With a big group that was already unpacked it would have been another challenge. We stayed we had a good time but was disappointed in some of the issues.

King of the Mountain property
When we first arrived, we were not happy with the cleaning. As we went through each room, it appeared that very little cleaning was done. The bathrooms were especially noticeable. One of the bedrooms had clothing left from the previous occupants that we put in the laundry room. One of the bedrooms had a dirty diaper left in it. One of the bathrooms had a small amount of poop in the toilet - almost like they had flushed it, but it didn't completely flush down. The dishwasher was not emptied, so we didn't know if the dishes were clean or dirty, so we sent it through a washing cycle. There were a lot of fibers from the rugs on the wood floor. However, we loved the property and the house, especially how much room there was. If this had been a motel room, I would have requested another room. We had 27 people and we had plenty of room for all of us. The kitchen and dining area was spacious and would fit all of us at meal time. The kitchen was well stocked, but could use an extra griddle and an electric mixer. We brought a volleyball, but when we went to get the net, we could not find one anywhere, so I called Tawni and she said they forgot to get it out, so she led me through where it was. It was nice that it was so close to town and shopping and close to the beach, and yet didn't have other homes close. We did not let the cleaning problems affect the good time we had; we just took care of it. We really enjoyed our stay and loved the Bear Lake area.
Nice spacious house with amazing views! We loved the wide open kitchen and plenty of dining seating. The stars were so bright and beautiful at night. Other than a couple of configurations that weren’t ideal and an inoperative half bath on the main floor, we loved it and would heartily recommend to others!
This is our family's second year doing a Christmas Gift Get Away instead of my husband and I giving them presents for Christmas! We have 7 married children and 22 grandchildren! And they all love it! Your place was very nice...Spectacular view! Love the backyard area, brilliant idea using artificial turf.
