Since it is a little distance away from a city center, the hotel offers very quiet environment. The hotel is on a top of a cliff that offers great view and has a great buffet restaurant with tasty dishes and very reasonable price.

A very good view. We had the partial lake view. I like the towel and bathrobe. The service of the front office are commendable. Specifically, when they let me use the business center for my online meeting. As a hospitality professor, they are very professional. However, not that sound proof. We heard the banging of the door from other rooms. Great staycation!

Location-wise, the hotel has great ocean view. Their spa was great as well. The room was spacious and clean but too few furnitures feeling like empty space. It was a bit inconvenient with two few usable power outlets for charging electronics. Reception staff was fast and efficient but in hurry to wrap up the reception. These made me uncomfortable to continue my questions. To note, the lobby was very bright and spacious but somewhat stinky like sewage smells that I still don’t know what it was. This place will be more attentive if they pay attention in a bit of details. Their sunrise view at rooftop garden was really amazing.

I recently returned to Korea after a long time abroad and started a week-long trip around the Gangwon area. This hotel was our first stop. We arrived late in the afternoon, and while I rested due to jet lag, my mother went to use the hotel’s on-site hot springs. However, when she returned, she told me that she had accidentally stepped on feces inside the hot spring area while walking. It seemed like it may have been left by a toddler (?), but it was extremely unpleasant and, more importantly, dangerous — she almost slipped because of it. This was very disappointing, especially for a hotel of this level. The staff should pay far more attention to hygiene, safety checks, and regular maintenance of the facilities. A hot spring should be a place where guests can relax, not experience something like this. I hope the hotel takes this issue seriously and improves cleanliness and safety protocols for future guests.
