Funky place- especially the dining. Very old school park service. Great location for canyon de chelly. Seems partly Navajo run but not clear Navajo owned.

About 30 ft from the Interstate, but we turned the room fan on and never heard the traffic. Breakfast was just OK; not sure what was in the coffee pot, but it tasted like brown water. Room was large and clean. Staff was friendly.

Check-in requested downstairs due to a recent surgery. I was told no, even though my receipt showed a downstairs room. Magnetic key stopped working, when I went to the office to get it fixed, no one was there (around 2-3pm). Had to find staff. Room smelled moldy and toilet didn't flush well/water ...
