"Charming and unique stay. We only stayed one night but we really enjoyed it. There’s not much happening in the town and the day we arrived the restaurant was closed. Breakfast was great with fresh breads and meats and cheese. Excellent coffee. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it. "

"This approaches a contactless, minimalist hotel. Check-in is through an ATM-like computer interface. I had my reservation details, emails, and codes and checked in quickly and without incident. However, two other parties were left outside for 15+ minutes, calling on multiple cell phones, yelling in German. The room was clean and efficient, but had minimal comfort items. Breakfast had a modest selection of cereals, yogurts, fruits, sliced meat, and bread. Parking appeared to be limited to on-street in front of the hotel. Hotel is out of town at least 1.5km on a quiet rural lane. Do not rely on public transit to this location."

"Our stay was perfect! Our kids (8,6 and 4) had a blast with all the animals - Guinea pigs, bunnies, new kittens. Anita was a fantastic hostess. She always had suggestions for us of things to do in the area. Breakfast was fresh and delicious. It was such a relaxing and lovely place. A fantastic swing on the top of the hillside, a pool overlooking the valley. They even built a fire for us one night. The history of the house is amazing. They have put so much work into it over the years. Definitely ask about it or look at the photo album in the kitchen area."
