"This is an awesome place to stop for a vacation very close to the beach (2 minutes by car or 15 minutes jogging). The kitchen has plenty of pots and utensils, a gas stove and a fridge. You may also make new friends cause there might be other people renting other rooms. There are many restaurants around and a superstore. We'll stop there again on our next trip to Portugal. "
"They gave us a wrong room with shared bathroom so we had to stay for one night not two, no staff at night or at check in. Other rooms are great and good people. Need a refund for the cancelled night. "
"The pool was nice but space for lounging by pool is small. There were many wasps a flies near the pool which made it difficult to relax. Reasonable price for a small basic room but out of the way from Setubal amenities that are walking distance. Recommend using an uber to get to other places . "
"Beautiful property with spacious rooms, clean and an amazing garden with pool and amenities. The star is also very nice and helpful. We had a great time."
"It was a great stay with really nice support staff on ground. The housekeeper made sure that everthing was taken care of was really accommodating. Would be happy to come back any time"
"We had a wonderful stay here. We really appreciated our boxed breakfast each morning, perfectly prepared.
Mario welcomed us and immediately made suggestions for beaches to visit and restaurants in the area. We so appreciated this!
We hope to come back soon. "
"This is perfectly fine and good value for the money. The location is ideal in terms of access, but extremely noisy foremost because of the oft-mentioned bus depot, and also a school right underneath during the day. Note that this is a residential building and the entrance is not obvious. Look for it as the street bends by the street number. The facility has a common kitchen, but no refrigerator. Ultimately, considering the demand in this city, and the geo-position of this place, it is worth the...
"Independente Comporta was a truly serene experience. The setting is peaceful and beautifully designed, and the atmosphere invites you to slow down. The staff were kind and attentive, and everything about the space felt thoughtful and well cared for. It’s one of the most memorable places we’ve ever stayed — calm, intentional, and quietly special."

"Booked Troia Design Hotel for 2 nights, the hotel property is gorgeous, (aside from mildly challenging to find the entrance). Room was quiet, nicely finished, with a great bathroom/shower. Air conditioning works as intended (important in Portugal in July) staff was helpful. Highly recommend the Blue & Green Design Hotel in Troia!"
"The guided tour in the museum was a plus. The staff was eager to find solutions to minor issues encountered during the stay. The rooms were spacious, the breakfast was very good, the location was amazing. I only have good things to say about the hotel and its staff. "
"The hotel itself is wonderful. There is a bar and restaurant on the first floor, and free breakfast in that restaurant from 7 in the morning until 10 in the morning. The water pressure on the showerhead is very good, though there wasn't a shower curtain. There are ATMs all around, and Burger King, McDonald's, and KFC are near for Uber Eats.
You should only stay here if you have a way to get to the more urban part of Lisbon that's not Uber. If you're planning on hanging out in Saldanha for example, you're better off staying near Saldanha. Otherwise you'll spend a ton on Uber, negating the great price this hotel offers. BUT if you have people who'll take you around, have a car rented, or are willing on going on long bus rides, then you'll be fine."
