Loved this stay. Affordable, clean, quiet. It’s a bit far for a direct walk to downtown but there’s a bus stop right nearby, and we didn’t mind getting the extra walking in so mad the walk multiple times anyways. Lovely room clean but very basic about 40 minutes walk from the centre there is a bus stop up the road on the right every 30 minutes 1.90 euro to the centre the spar on the corner is very handy

Clayton Hotel Galway
Their was an issue with the accommodation in hotel but staff were excellent in getting alternative accommodation sorted at this busy time of year. Our trip could have been a disaster but staff + hotel were very responsive in find a solution for unforseen issues in hotel.
