The property was conveniently located and was fine for a one night stand. But the noise from the trainis across the street kept me awake part of the night and woke me up early in the morning.

Overall excellent. Some minor issues like the TV did not work. They offered another room bit we were unpacked already. The santa fe trains run all night and blow their horns. There were several other hotels near so they all heard the trains.

When my kids and I became homeless, this hotel really helped us. We stayed there for about 2 months. I took a Clorox wipe to my room and everything was clean! I was surprised. This was a separate stay and I enjoyed it. I asked for a late check out and was told that I was keeping the housekeeper from going home. Which I get it, I used to be a housekeeper. But I also paid for the room and needed the extra sleep. Other than that, everything was great!

Trains passing nearby but did not disturb us at all. nice hardwood (wood tile) floors. Clean. Located on original Route 66 for nostalgia but very updated and modern. Staff member working the night of our check in was exceptional. (Sorry I did not get her name)

Nice spot for travelers

We always seem to find these hotels at the end of our trip. I wish there more reasonably priced rooms that are clean and roomy. This hotel room easily held our large family and had a full kitchen for use. Unfortunately for us we were on the last leg of our road trip and only stayed in the room less than 5 hours. A winner for the weary traveler along this route.

Our checking was great. Paid for a room with 2 queens but when we got to the room it only had one queen & there were 4 of us. We went down & she upgraded us to a suite for the trouble. She was incredibly sweet!! Room had everything we needed. Rooms were ice cold and we slept like babies. You hear trains only when you’re awake. Right next door to a McDonald’s & a Mexican restaurant. We ate a Sizzlers up the road. Pretty good. Love Gallop!!!

Wow!

Suite. The room was great and huge. The location was great. The beds were comfortable. Breakfast was adequate. I could do without the train horn blaring every 20 mins all night. We will definitely stay again though.

I'm giving the highest ratings because everything exceeded my expectations and I was not able to find anything to complain about (even though I try). I found the room spacious and comfy, clean and satisfying. I was scared a lttle by one of the 3 star reviews that mentioned the potholes in the parking lot, but thankfully the holes are the shallow kind. I had also read about the train. At night I could hardly hear the train, but in the morning after I was up it seemed louder. My spouse and children were all pleased with the stay as well. Lastly, let me echo all the praise for the great employees.

Hotel was clean and staff very friendly and accommodating. They provided a space for us to park motorcycles that included a camera to monitor from the front desk. Continental breakfast was good. The only issue we had was the proximity of railroad activity located across the highway. If you are a light sleeper you may find the train horns to be a nuisance at night. Nearby Mexican Restaurant is excellent!

A good night's sleep

It was a very nice property with a full service resteraunt next door. The night manager was very nice and she made me happy to choose staying here. The property is a bit older but everything was spotlessly clean in the room. I will stay again when in the area.
