Roomy, clean, well equipped, good location near shops and restaurant, and brilliant view.- we saw otter and seals, and heard the eerie song of red-throated divers, from the house.
This property was our favorite one on the trip. The beach was so close and the rooms nice and large. Having two bathrooms suited us perfectly and having a wash basin in each bedroom was incredibly convenient. Parking was right in front of the door. The kitchen even had sugar and some other items that we did not have to get. The traditional style was very homey. I would stay here again if in this area on a return visit.
Really enjoyed our stay was a home from home had everything we needed and the location was perfect
Loved watching the seals and dolphins playing in the evenings in the bay right outside the front door.
Stunning views
Would definitely recommend.

Extremely dirty holiday home
The location is wonderful, but that’s all the property has going for it. I have never stayed in such a dirty house. I had to clean the downstairs windows, so we could see the view. Mould in both bathrooms. Hairs on bathroom walls and dirt. The kitchen is filthy. Front garden fill with weeds. The whole house was dirty. Not a clean picture or mirror in the whole house. Avoid at all costs. One of beds smelled of sweat. I really don’t know how the owner gets away renting it out. I did speak to owner but he was not interested. I have put in a complaint to Vrbo. I took photos but you can’t add photos to your review. Kettle needs condemning. Fried rice stuck to sitting room wall. Sofas had stains on them. Junk of the owners in back garden and across the road, so your view is blocked out of dining room. The place is a disgrace. Would never recommend this place. Very unhappy customer.
Property has everything you need. Not the most modern but was just what we needed. The view was stunning and seeing the dolphins from the front door was a great bonus
We had a great time here. We've been to Gairloch many times and this is the best accommodation we've stayed in. It was particularly appreciated this year as for once we didn't have good weather throughout the duration of our stay.
It's spacious, with comfy beds and a good WiFi signal.
I'd encourage the owner to update the photos, as some of the furniture has been modernised.
We're already thinking about booking again next year.
We searched for quite a while but were so pleased with this house in the northwest Highlands. Gairlich is a picture postcard of a town that for its size offers surprisingly many amenit. The butcher is fantastic and the Farm Store caters to gourmand needs. Lenn Urquhart, too, is a perfect host and the house he has on offer has a great kitchen, clean bathrooms and very comfortable beds. The location on the water is spectacular, too.
The house is in a stunning location with plenty of places to explore. It was larger than expected & very comfortable. The back garden didn’t look great but to be honest, the view from the front more than made up for it.
Easy place to find. The beds were very comfy & well needed after busy days.
Would recommend staying here. Everyone we met was so friendly too.
