Room was clean and staff were courteous. The place isn't in a good area and, the outside doesn't look the same as the picture, it is worse. Staff were outside smoking and no one was at the front desk.

This place has some bad reviews but appears to be under new management and is currently being renovated. The rooms were clean and the staff was friendly. Couldn’t ask for much more with such an affordable price. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking to stay in the area and on a budget

Our stay at the High Springs Inn

We booked with the High Springs Inn for a few nights in mid June 2025. The Inn is undergoing renovations which Peter, the owner, made us aware of prior to our check in in the afternoon and upon arrival, gave us our choice of rooms and locations. Carline, his wife set up breakfast and runs the desk in the morning. They are wonderful people, very honest and scrupulous in their dealings. They treat you like family and are kind to all that come through the door. The facility is located close to the numerous springs in the area and is a great place to stay while in the area.

This hotel served our needs perfectly. It was clean, quite, comfortable. Staff was very nice and helpful. I wished for a little more in offerings at breakfast, but it was filling and tasty, and staff gladly helped me with it. I was very pleased and grateful.

Old place needing renovation.

Yes, it is an old motel, outdated and needs a much needed renovation. Overall stay was not great as very little worked. Rooms were clean and bed was comfortable. No light in room. Had to use bathroom light. Bed covers need replaced. All rooms were booked this weekend in the area so this worked out good enough. Friendly gal working the desk. For the price I was ok, but wouldn’t stay again.

Check in was a little chaotic. Since I had booked through Expedia they couldn’t find that I had already paid in full at first. It took them awhile to find it. The manager kept saying that it was payment was declined loudly which was quite embarrassing. It all worked out eventually though. The rest of the staff were very friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. The bathroom door stuck and was difficult and loud to close. Overall, it was a great visit and we will stay here again.

The renovations are looking good, with just a few things that are off. Pros- all of the staff were friendly and helpful! New bed was comfy, cable worked and the room had everything I needed for a quick stay. Cons - An outlet that didn't work, bad lighting, a gap at the bottom of the door and a leaky fridge. The tub was obviously new, but still had the installation stickers on it. The faucet in the tub was loose. Bad pillows. I didn't have the breakfast but it looked good!

Pleasant Stay for Pleasant Cost

Front desk assistance was great. Very friendly & extremely helpful. Quiet and very relaxing. Breakfast was good but limited on food to choose from. Not a bad stay considering the great rate offered for stay. Overall, I'd give it 3 1/2 stars and would recommend for short stay.
